Visited Dr. Alok Shah for a root canal treatment. I had severe pain and sensitivity in my teeth. The treatment was absolutely painless and experience was really good. My root canal was done in just one appointment and later a zirconia cap was placed over the tooth. Dr. Alok is very good at his work and I feel he is the best dentist in powai. Visited Smile Plus Dental Clinic for my Orthodontic treatment. The treatment took about a year and the results are awesome. Dr. Alok has done a very good job for my smile makeover with ceramic braces. The appointments were well organised and waiting time was minimal. According to me he is the best Orthodontist in Powai. COVID protocols not complied by the assistants, they were not covering nose with there masks. When patient is getting treatment she/he has to remove mask, so assistant should wear double layer of mask along with face sheild to avoid spreading of COVID-19.

I recommend Dr Alok. I would say he is one of the best in the field. I had to get braces for my daughter and after doing a lot of research zeroed in on Dr Alok. When we visited the first time, he patiently explained the entire process in detail, the various braces available, pros and cons of each option along with the costs for the options. His overall charges were very reasonable. We did 12 visits as part of the treatment and at no point would we have waited for more than 5 to 10 minutes. He is very patient and takes time to explain without rushing. He is equipped with the latest tech and the clinic is clean. Very happy with the treatment and would highly recommend.

He did a very good job as it was a painless single sitting root canal treatment for both teeth on the same day. Had very good experience here. My kid broke her tooth in a fall. She is a special needs child and it’s not easy to do any procedures on her. They were very cooperative and got her specialists who understood her case and were very patient through the multiple visits. I did not want to put her in general anaesthesia for a dental procedure so it was a huge relief we were able to get her root canal and cap done in routine way. The result is also really good aesthetically speaking. The custom cap they made for her is superb and matches so well. She also adjusted to the new tooth very quickly without any issues. Very grateful for the care patience and understanding of all the doctors involved.

I liked the service offered as the doctor gave a complete picture of the diagnosis and left the final decision to me. Generally RCT is painful and you need to visit doctor several times.However here I had an experience where my treatment was complete in very less visits and less pain :) Dr.Alok explained me the process very nicely and was available even over the call when needed. Just got a Root Canal and Cleaning done and a few things really impressed me so I thought of writing this: 1. I had a really bad toothache and it was the mid of the Covid pandemic.. and even though Dr. Akok has a 1 yr old kid and kept his clinic shut then, went out of the way and opened up cuz he realized the pain I was in... 2. It was my 3rd root canal.. first with Dr. Alok and trust me, it was a breeze. Root canal treatments are bound to give you some pain and discomfort but here, I just didn't feel an ounce of pain. (I hate toothache so well this really mattered to me!) 3. Another small but noticeable thing, Dr. Alok takes you through the journey by constantly talking to you, keeping you informed ofnwhat exactly he's doing and how that helps.. it's a really small thing, but just makes the overall experience so unique and pleasurable... On the price front, his charges were pretty much the same I've paid everywhere.. I'm not someone who's written a lot of reviews, but sometimes the service level of some places just brings a smile.. and this was one of them..!

I got the root canal and extraction done at his clinic in Powai. It was a painless single visit root canal treatment. During the whole procedure, he kept interacting with me and explained me what he was doing and that made me feel really comfortable. I was bit skeptical to visit any dentist due to the fear of corona infections. But, Dr Alok took all the safety measures and assured me that he will take proper care and for that reason I was always given the first appointment. He took quick X-rays to analyse my tooth and showed me that I needed a root canal in adjacent teeth due to food lodgement. He sat me down and explained about RCT and about various crown options available. He completed the treatment in a day , took measurements in another day and fixed crown in one last sitting.
