worst hospital, 1. Doctor will screen your spending power and charge accordingly. Its not healthcare its business. My dad was kept in ICU for 10 day which was completely not necessity. Surgeons are skeptical about their own skillet. CT scan was delayed for 2 days as all the staff was absent for Ganapati holidays. There was no backup. Because o this delay pancreatitis infection got doubled. When we moved my dad from Shushrusha to Hinduja actions were taken immediately and doctor said he is not at all ICU patient. 2. Hygiene - Hospital is in prime area, but cleanliness is biggest problem. Canteen is also dirty. Plates are also not clean. 3. Please never ever admit your beloved one in Sushruhsa.

If there was negative rating would have given that. My wife died of negligence due to Shushrusha hospital staff and doctors. She had developed sepsis symptoms one day prior to her death which the doctors and staff did not take seriously. We were not aware of these medical terms. We kept asking doctors and staff that she seems terribly unwell with bluish discoloration but doctors and staff kept telling us there is nothing to worry. She is under our observation. Finally unfortunately she died of neither of the hospital. Its a huge loss for me, my son and my family.

Providing such yeoman service at very very affordable cost. They have one of the best Plastic surgeon in the country who not only provides best service but with personalised human touch. They have all the facility required for a mid level hospital.

Extremely poor customer service. The junior doctors/ RMOs think no end of themselves. Have no manners on how to speak with patient's relatives. I ended up opting to go to another hospital for treatment. I was made to feel like we were coming for free treatment.

Last year my husband was admitted stating he was tested+ve but the nurse in COVID ward confirmed he was -ve without checking the report. Dr.Prasad Solanki is money minded and never consult him for chest related infection. He will ensure you get admitted to this hospital. Nurses are not well trained, they keep gossiping on duty, medicines are never given on time to patients...need to remind every time. Expensive medicines are wasted. No cleanliness and hygiene in canteen. Long waiting time for lift. No separate lift for patients. Never admit your dear ones at Shushrusha Hospital.πŸ‘Ž Money making business!

I don't know why I even agreed to take my elderly parents to such a place for treatment. The interaction with every individual stuff at that place turned out disastrous. Special mention to a Dr.shristi, whom we met on the 4th floor. She was raising her voice on us, because she is over burdened with work and does not have time for us. She said that since the timing is between 9am-5pm, we need to wait and that she cannot confirm when she will be free to attend to us. We are not asking for any of the services for free, yet this is how people get treated. Pathetic

Extremely negligent and hopeless treatment. They are just sitting for looting money. We had my mother admitted there for infection due to kidney stone in an emergency situation. They had cleared the infection and put a dj stent but none of the doctor was clear about what treatment has been given to our patient. Every one had a different story to tell. Also they made a bill of 2 lakh rupees just for clearing the infection. Stone was not removed. Hopeless services. Do not go even if it is an emergency. They have no humanity.

Money making business. Always on a lookout to loot people. Detailed review below: The admission process was smooth but apart from that nothing went right for us. 2 years back when my mother was admitted, we had a good experience with Dr. Rakesh Singh. So this time around when my father had to get admitted on an urgent basis, I blindly took him to Shushrusha, thinking of it as a trusted hospital, however nothing went right for us. The gastroenterologist, Dr. Samit Jain was helpful, but apart from that almost everything was unpleasant. Right from the stay to the staff everything was below average. There was absolutely no clarity given to us in terms of what we were getting charged for. The reports took forever to come, adding onto the lengthy stay at the hospital. We ended up spending about a week here. When the bill was handed over to us, it turned out to be exorbitant & everybody was shocked. When we asked the billing counter how the bill had risen by a couple of thousands in the last few hours of the stay, they had absolutely no explanation to give us. All they said was, "we can't do anything & that the rates couldn't be adjusted". We wouldn't have had a problem if the process was more transparent and clear but unfortunately it wasn't. Even the bill given was extremely vague/difficult to understand. After my father got a discharge, my friends and I started inquiring around & found out we were cheated by the hospital. They currently have some renovation work going on in the hospital & it almost looks like they're trying to loot people just to make up for their overheads. Bottom Line: I wouldn't suggest going here. Do thorough research if possible before you choose a hospital. It's only become a money making business I feel. Human lives have no value.

They are just to make buisness here. Does not care about patient and relatives. Doctors are good but still they also part of business now . In case if u are thinking to cover your expense in Mediclaim facility , that is also where u will get shock by finding their cashless medical policy( They will ask 15% extra charge on every medical item in bill till you get discharge), which i have never seen anywhere in mumbai. ( they will always show you some risk in patient condition and will try to increase ur stay in hospital). All medicine they takes from their own medical store which is at ground floor, you will not aware weather ur patient require it really or not. And that medical is also too expensive.. eg : gloves box which normally get outside in 350- 500rs range they charge 900rs in bill. Same for diaper

Doctors are good, but the hospital needs to update as per new norms. to name few 1. They still do not accept UPI payaments 2. Taking appointments is a task in itself 3. House keeping staff need to be more sensitive towards patients and relatives. They need to have to be more professional now. They have to grow out of the mindset which was there in 1990 when options were limited.

Meaning of the name of this hospital, "Shushrusha", is "Caring". They are very good at taking care of the patient. I have interacted with the staff and doctors of this hospital over last 8 years, for 3 times, when my parents were admitted here. I have to say, thanks to this hospital my Mom and Dad are leading a decent life in their old age (dad is 78 n Mom 73). Their ambulance service is prompt and responsive. Even ambulance staff is well trained and they really know how to take care of the patient while lifting them from the bed and put them in ambulance. They ask you to make an advance payment either on debit or credit card. They refund the additional amount paid within a week or two after the discharge from hospital, electronically. I did not have to go their for any paperwork for refund. I loved this a lot. That saved my time and energy which I could use to take care of my parents at home.

I would not recommend anybody to visit this hospital. They only look on ways how to extract money from people, especially if you have insurance. They forcefully keep extending the hospitalisation without any concern about treating the patient. The doctors do not follow any proper timetable for visits. Also the discharge procedure is so unprofessional that it took about 9 hrs to get all billing and documentation done. Better to visit Sion hospital or any other government hospital instead of this one.

Nursing bad , patient care pathetic , unprofessional doctors , billing system pathetic , noble medical way too expensive and super slow . 1 star is a way too more to give to this pathetic black spot on our medical system. Pity the way they treat your near and dear ones . Very bad bed side manners. Complete chaos. Total waste of time energy and money. Avoid it at all cost. Go for Hinduja or global. Always .. I made a mistake learn from that. That's y writing this review.

Dr. Uchil and Dr. Bhagwat one of the best in their professions. Would only recommend this place because of some of the doctors that are associated with the hospital. If you can find these doctors at other hospitals then most certainly avoid this place! As for the hospital infrastructure the lesser said, the better! They have one elevator that caters to the patients and the visitors. Infections can spread both ways. ICU is no better. It looks more like a general ward. The staff catering the patients in the ICU seem to lack the basic medical knowledge. Also, there is no concept of keeping the family updated about the progress of the patient. You wait for the doctor to show up to get an update and in some cases it could be into the late hours. The waiting area for the family members becomes a waiting zone for the "male" family members in the night. You lie down on the floor in an attempt to catch some sleep. Last but not the least, it is EXPENSIVE!

My Daughter was admitted to this hospital few days back and the service here is pathetic.. no cleanliness..few nurse are just careless we'll have to call them 1000times and still they'll ignore .. medicines are ordered on their own they also don't give us bills .. i have observed this for the first time where customers are not given bill for their purchase in chemist.. at last they add this huge amount of bill of chemist which is absolutely high and increased.. ( please check the bill every time you get medicines in your hand in ward) few nurse are highly unprofessional . I will never recommend this hospital to any one .

Very bad experience of general ward 203, the service of the staff is very bad, even after complaining to the main nurse, no action was taken. Especially ward boy was very rude and acted as if he was the owner of the hospital. The bell near the bed to call for nurse's help is absolutely useless. This is the same problem with every hospital. The management and service care, from ward boy to nurse's as well as the doctor themselves are all very ignorant and careless. The hospital is not even a single star deserving.

Pls do not take your relative or anyone here, it's only a money making bussiness. They don't give any updates about the patient. Ten doctors come and visit the patient and 10 visiting charges are added to your bill. But you won't get any answers when you ask about the patient. The nurses have only one answer ask the doctor but where is the doctor not there now. You can take someone in case of emergency if it's near by to your house but pls try to shift the patient ASAP. There are good facilities but they won't provide you with it. Like for bed they have place in the ggeneral ward or something less. But they will say they don't have bed and give the most expensive possible.. Pls take your decision wisely.

I would like to share my feedback on lumbar decompression surgery I had been suffering from sciatica for the last 2 years, initially it was not that much painful but after a year and half it became very difficult to stand or walk for more than 15 mins. During this time I took my local doctor's suggestion and started physiotherapy for around 4-5 months, still got no results. Then I got to know about Dr. Sheetal Mohite at Shushrusha Hospital, Dadar, they very well explained/ guided me about sciatica, they gave me three options to go for, 1. Take complete bed rest for at least 2-3 weeks (which didn't work in my case), 2. Injection and 3. To go for surgery, since my pain was that much severe. Since all the treatments (physiotherapy and medicines) were not working for me, I decided to go for surgery. I had my surgery on 24th April 2023, now it's been 4 months since the surgery, I'm very happy with my decision. Also Dr. Sheetal Mohite guided me with the best suitable options and I would like to thank the doctor, nurses of the hospital and my family for helping me during these hard times. I consider I got a second life to live 😊 Thanks to Shushrusha Hospital and the team for such a great experience.

His opinion helped us alot and he's a really good doctor. So, overall great experience. Actually this hospital is like trust and many senior visiting doctors come here. If you want to get another opinion the you should really search get appointment of senior doctors that visit here. It would give you more idea and help you taking much important health related decisions.

They are conducting a compulsory expensive 4000 Rs HT-CT scan test before admission. No where in the world is this test used for COVID-19. Totally unscientific approach h. Their lab technician examines the report and decides whether patient need to be admitted. My Father had cardiac blocks and needed angioplasty post the scan they decided that he is a suspected COVID-19 patient and billed us for the test and did not admit him. 25 days have passed and my father has passed all covid tests negative and has no COVID-19. They have done a fraud against desperate patients.

Billing section is pathetic and the hospital charges you anyway according to their mood. No hospital till date has a protocol that if patient turns after 1month 10 days patient is considered as a new case and charged as a new case again. I am visiting the doctor after 1month 3 days and I am being charged again for new case .worst scenario ever. Not recommended at all. Do not visit this hospital. A simple cashier or receptionist has hell lot of attitude such is not even seen in doctors here. The way this man said it seems a patient has to come frequently like it is his home . Charges are taken as per cashier mood and not a hospital protocol. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Such hospitals are spoiling the reputation of a medical fraternity as a whole. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Worst hospital in town, the staff is irresponsible, My Nani went was admitted to this hospital for just a knee operation & before operation the staff gave a high dosage of anesthesia which did not go well with her body & she passed away within 30 mins of entering for an operation, we tried to even do a case against hospital & Doctor but they must have bribed the authorities that nothing could be done against them & they are still allowed to work the same way, so be aware such a thing can happen with your family member also & if u want to see them in good condition after operation avoid this hospital

The time of interview they said one thing and lateron they change it and compel the staff to sign in to the bond paper which is not applicable in any hospital. And hostel providing for the staff is not at all good. No proper ventilation...
