Marve Beach, not so beautiful in its surroundings, has some drawbacks in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The stinky smell and garbage lying around are not ideal for a beach experience. The stacked rocks at one corner might not be safe for swimming. However, it offers a variety of food stalls serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There is an abundance of fishing activity, and the beach serves as a departure point for boat rides to both Essel World and Water Kingdom. Additionally, the Global Vipassana Pagoda is visible from the beach, adding to its scenic beauty.

Marve Beach, Mumbai Overview Away from the industrial pollution and the chaotic city life, Marve Beach is situated in Malad, in the western suburbs of Mumbai. Due to the strong tides and currents, it is generally not recommended to swim in the sea waters or even to step aside post evening hours..

Marve Beach in Malad is a beautiful sanctuary for young couples, groups of friends and families looking to spend a pleasant day without spending too much. One of the quieter Mumbai beaches, Marve is ideal for a day out, playing cricket on the sand, walking along the shore or just enjoying the beautiful views of the Arabian Sea glittering in the sun. Cashew trees and private homes line the edge of the beach and the place is usually quiet. It does have a ferry service that hikes up the decibels from all the holidaymakers trooping up to Essel World, one of the oldest amusement parks in Mumbai. Another beach you could visit nearby is the Manori Beach – a calm, tranquil place that is great for watching sunsets. How to Get Here? Take the local train to Malad or Borivali (West) and opt for an auto-rickshaw from there Take a BEST bus to the nearest stop or book a cab and reach directly

    1. Ferry for water kingdom and essel world available. 2. Ferry for Manori Beach. 3. Fresh fish. 4. Snacks and other refreshing intake one can get on Marve beach. (which would be obviously chargeable) 5. Family and couples hang out here mostly in evening time. 6. New point has been made last year 2020. This new ferry point is very helpful for commuters travelling thru 2 wheeler.

If you want to purchase Ignis, Baleno, S-cross or Ciaz car then this is the place you must visit. The showroom is big and have enough seats for its waiting customers. Crowded sometimes and also they treat you very well. Service is also good and have enough place to park your vehicle as well.

Nothing's great on this beach to be honest. Few fishing boats but must visit in evening for sunset of you are around. Quite a checkpoint for cycling enthusiasts in morning.

Situated in Malad West, the Marve Beach is a beautiful beach by the Arabian Sea. The beach isn’t very clean. The beach is very close to the INS Hamla Camp, therefore, if you visit the beach in the morning, you can see the Hamla Camp jawans training on the beach. The Marve beach is also known for the Koli fishermen, who fish close to the beach and bring their fishes on the shore to be sent to Mumbai’s markets. The beach can be a quiet getaway, but the beach is rather narrow and getting in the waters is not advisable due to the swift current and mud that sinks fast. The Marve beach is about seven kilometres from the western suburbs of Malad. The beach gives you a stunning view of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding hills. You can come here in the evenings too, to watch the sunset in the Arabian Sea.

Marve Beach is the most important beach in malad as it connects Manori village & Global Vipasana Pagoda by boat and is also used for parking fishermen's boats, above all things the view at this beach is great as there's no pollution in the vicinity.

This was a beach a few years ago. But now half is it has been occupied by the military for bridge building training(they build a float bridge in one night and transport vehicles to Manori as part of the exercise). The other half has now been cemented and used as dock for boats (essel world and Manori) the remaining right side of the beach is occupied by fisherman boats. Basically you have around 2-3 acres of so called beach for the general public that's it. All the chaat vendors charge 10 - 20 bucks extra for all snacks. Just tell them you are a local and they give you a discount. There are pay and parks as the free parking has now been closed after covid. You can still park on the beach if you get a spot for free. You can purchase fresh fish in the morning when the boats dock. Also you can drink alcohol on the right hand side of the beach from say 6:pm till 10:pm cops don't say anything as the locals have used the place as their personal bar since ages. Don't dare swim here as the current is the strongest from Marve to Aksa. Even locals and pro swimmers don't swim here.

Marve Beach is a popular beach located in the northern part of Mumbai, India. As a 2-star rated beach, it may not have all the luxurious amenities and facilities of higher-rated beaches, but it still has its own charm. The beach has a long coastline with clean sand and shallow waters, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely walk or a swim. However, visitors should note that the water may not be suitable for swimming at all times due to pollution and high tides. The beach has a few basic facilities such as public toilets and changing rooms, but they may not be well-maintained. There are also a few food stalls and vendors selling snacks and refreshments, but the quality and hygiene standards may not be consistent. Overall, Marve Beach is a decent option for a quick getaway from the city and a chance to enjoy the sea breeze and sun. However, visitors should be prepared for some basic facilities and take appropriate precautions for their safety and hygiene

It's a bit dirty beach. Actually it is used for jetty from marve to other side. Though you can go there to enjoy the street food, chats, corns, fish items, etc. I tried chat and masala papad. As compare to chat masala papad was more tasty. You can just go and scroll around the beach and have some food and come back. It's a small beach. You feel like it's has end before it's has startes

This is quite a busy ferry point for going to Madh Island by boat. This island has Global Vipasana Pagoda which is a Meditation centre. From this point one can also go to Essel World by boat which is a popular place for entertainment. Marve beach as such has nothing more to offer. Local busses are available from Goregaon Malad and Borivili stations upto Marve beach.

Buying experience was good ,but when it comes to service its WORST.. It was really a good experience while buying a new vehicle and even I have provided huge appreciation to the Sales team. But after today's experience at MARUTI SUZUKI MY CAR Service Center , i guess i have concluded so early. I have explained almost each point to you(Prachi ) and Sejal about my experience at the service center. It was WORST. I have dropped my vehicle for first servicing and minor body shop work on 30th Nov 2020 at Maruti Suzuki Service center at Koparkhairane. My vehicle has been checked by mr. Sonar. Mr Nasir and Mr. Prashant Yagnik. The all details shared with these officials.I have been asked to keep the vehicle for 5-6 days and i agreed.I have also asked to complete work of all shown scratch/dents front glass patch and in case anything which not covers in insurance that will be paid by myself. Today when i  reached for the pick up vehicle then i observed  that glass work was not done, one dent on left was not done and also found one more scratch on bumper and chemical drops(minor) on body which was not there while issuing car at service center. One more pathetic approach is I have waited for 2 and half hours as a vehicle in Washing process and when it was given to me in very bad condition. So many cello tape stains, white colour drops, minor chemical stains on the bumper. My vehicle was there  for 8 days but nobody called me for any glass patch issue or left door dent as it did not come under insurance so i could have taken some decision for the same. Why it was told to me on delivery day.One question appears in mind that what work they have done which took 8 days and still many concerns found pending. I observed a very much casual approach from your team towards customer concerns. Overall it was a pathetic service experience from MARUTI SUZUKI MY CAR team about Service commitments.

Stinky, black sand and water... Too many fisherman boats. Frequency of launches, ferry is one in 5-7 mins one can take bike in the ferry from marve to madh or gorai / pagoda. New ferry concrete sloping station is good. Food stall spread all over on very little sand area... Public creates the beach a dump-yard , thus we must be more watchful and careful to conserve natural beauty.

The beach is not clean at all, if you compare to Juhu beach it's more dirty, but views are awesome and also you can see fishing, boats.

It’s a good place to hangout for small amount of time as it gets crowded by the evening and heavy traffic as well

We were at Malad (W) and thought to have a quick visit to Marve beach. It is just 5 minutes ride by An Auto Rickshaw. Its nice clean beach completely owned by cost Gaurd or navy. There was some bridge construction work going on. Beach was clean with some fishing boat anchored at the beach. You can see Vipassana Pagoda from Marve beach. There is a ferry service to go to Minor Island. Same way you can go to Essel world from here. there were plenty of hackers selling peanuts, chat and vada pav kind of snacks. Overall it's a nice place if you want to visit minor island. However, after half hours we were asked to leave the beach and move ahead by coast guard. If you are in Malad by any chance, spend two or three hours at this place. that's it.

Earlier this place is not even considered as a beach, but from covid time marve gains it's popularity and now it's not only a jetty. In the evening so many food stalls are there . But on weekdays after 9 pm it's a drinking place, everyone is sitting openly and drinking here, Which makes this place little unsafe for others.

I recently visited Marvé Beach and was blown away by its charm and beauty. The beach is surrounded by lush green trees, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxing day out. The soft sand and crystal-clear water are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and building sandcastles.

The Marve beach is about seven kilometres from the western suburbs of Malad. The beach gives you a stunning view of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding hills. You can come here in the evenings too, to watch the sunset in the Arabian Sea

If you want to go to manori it's good. Noting is there. not able to go in water also. 80% Beach in military hand. Prohibited area.

Marve Beach, not so beautiful in its surroundings, has some drawbacks in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The stinky smell and garbage lying around are not ideal for a beach experience.

  • 4/5 Taufiq A. 9 months ago on Google
Best place to chill, specially in rainy season. The weather is so good. Best place to spend time. From this place you can take a jetty for pagoda and manori.

There is different types of fishermen they are come for fishing .Marathi is the most spoken language in this region. East Indian community, Panchkalshi or Somvanshi Kshatriya Pathare and Koli's are the native people of this area.

More than a beach this is small dock! Mainly used by fisherman and jetties to travel other side of the beach. It used to be a quick get away for me time or to enjoy fresh air. However, I won't recommend this place anymore especially if you also don't enjoy passive smoking like me. The place looks more like a daru ka adaa and cigarette shop. Near the jetty due to some work, there is hardly any place to sit and enjoy. Food is good, so if you are around for a quick snack, you may try corn chat and gola. Didn't like the pani puri instead, aksha has better options for chat and pani puris.Connectivity to this place is go as there are buses from malad station, autos are available even in evening(might face issue during peak hours) , car and bike parking is available just opposite the food area. Since the parking is small, one might face challenges in parking the vehicle too.
