Located
a
little
on
the
outskirts
of
the
city
in
Malad,
Aksa
Beach
is
an
unparalleled
oasis
for
a
rejuvenating
retreat
from
the
hustle
bustle
of
the
city
traffic.
The
beach,
no
doubt,
owes
most
of
its
fame
to
the
song
βTujhe
Aksa
Beach
ghuma
duβ
from
the
hot
shot
Bollywood
movie
but
is
lately
becoming
a
choicest
pick
among
tourists
seeking
tranquility
and
peace
from
the
mainstream
chowpattis
in
Bombay.
The
mesmerising
coastline
is
one
of
the
longest
in
the
city
and
offers
an
extremely
vivid
and
surreal
panorama
of
the
merging
horizon
ahead.
The
beach
is
still
untouched
by
the
city
crowds
and
hence
maintains
its
natural
charm
apart
from
being
immaculately
clean.
Known
for
its
pristine
and
unblemished
beauty,
the
beach
is
frequented
by
families
and
couples
alike.
The
strong
tides
and
currents
keep
shifting
and
hence,
it
is
prohibited
to
go
too
far
in
the
waters
for
a
swim.
However,
the
tiny
eateries
make
up
for
that,
and
you
donβt
miss
out
on
a
lot.
You
can
munch
on
a
helping
of
chana
jhol
garam
and
enjoy
a
quiet
evening
saunter
on
the
enchanting
seashore
Dotted
with
quaint
little
cottages
and
luxury
resorts,
this
place
makes
for
an
ideal
getaway
from
the
everyday
monotonous
lifestyle.
Best
Time
To
Visit
Aksa
Beach
:-
September
to
March
is
considered
the
best
time
to
visit
Aksa
beach.
The
other
months
can
get
unbearable
due
to
the
heat
and
humidity.
Also,
due
to
the
strong
tides,
it
is
also
not
recommended
to
visit
during
monsoons.
How
To
Reach
Aksa
Beach
The
nearest
station
to
Aksa
Beach
is
Malad
of
the
western
terminus.
You
can
get
down
at
the
station
and
hire
an
auto-rickshaw
or
choose
to
travel
in
one
of
the
state-run
buses.
Alternatively,
you
can
book
taxi
cabs
from
your
accommodation
for
a
more
comfortable
journey.
But
the
buses
will
be
the
most
cost
efficient!
