This rock beach is usually less crowded than other beaches, which makes it more special. It's clean and has many accessible food joints around. A must visit place In mumbai. The Rock Beach as the name suggest is where the shoreline is made up of rocks. It is less crowded than the Juhu Beach and is located in Versova. You will find people chilling during evening and some of them playing football and stuff. Do visit when want a 'Me-time'.

This beach, just north of the Versova beach, is one of the very few sea shores in the ciry worth visiting. Its extreme clean, peaceful and quiet, nice to go and sit for a while, and make a sand castle. Both water and sand are clean, very few food stalls. The Versova beach, few hundred meters to the south is nowhere as clean and good.

one of my all time favourite place when i was working near by ...because this is the place where i find peace and some time to spent with my self .. at present the condition of this beach is much better than it was in 2016 or earlier. but its a quit nice place and yes the sun set ....you can sit here on a rocks and chill for some time or just take a walk.... i bet you you will feel refreshed

Wow, this beach is like World's best beache

Nice place except for the litter around. No stink though. Great to hang around with friends. There are many eateries around but the real fun is the street food here. Good place for photography although the crowd here may annoy you. Best enjoyed during sunset. Make sure you don't carry lot of stuff with you making it hard to enjoy the water. Can spend minimum of 1 and half hours here. Depends on how big your party is.

Beach is a beach... but this one is mixture of bandstand and Juhu since it’s on the same stretch... black soil and water looks dirty not at all for any water activity and esp not recommended to go inside... decent crowd... good for photography...

Mostly crowded with couples you can get here by getting down at varsova metro station from there you need to catch an auto to reach here very lovely beach the only thing here missing is there are very few food stalls nearby

The place is on one of the nicest location though not happy with the cleanliness and upkeep of the place. Sea water is not clean and it smells , though the apathy is people throwing away all the used Puja Items into the sea and making it more polluted. High time for people to understand the cleanliness importance.

Today (14 Feb 21) i visited at Rock Beach with one of my friend Sonu. My experience was too good at there. Proper lighting at there. No buddy can harms you. Very peace full area. If you are in love then visit with your love once😉

Lovely beach.

Cool beach, but is extremely dirty due to it being locals' pooping grounds in the mornings. No strictness followed like in other beaches of Mumbai. However, has a great view of the cities' suburban skyline and Madh Island.

This is a popular and hence kind of crowded beach where you will see a lot of people particularly on weekends in the evenings. You can also do some activities like horse riding here. There is also a view of Mumbai skyline if the day is clear. You can also see aeroplanes crossing if the skies are not hazy. In early morning you can also see some commercial shoots happening.. this is very popular place for that

Today i visited this place as i used to visit with my college friends and refreshed my memory. Only one disadvantage is the parking, rto will take your vehicle, there is a different place for parking over there, best Rock Beach.

Will not consider this place for families. Inside or outside you can only see couples roaming or romancing (Inside those giant rocks) or the drinkers, very polluted by both of them. beach might gets clean twice or thrice a year. But the smell never fades

Beautiful sunsets and happening cafes in the neighborhood are all fine ; but how can one forget while at the ' beach ' ; that one is basically standing / sitting on a huge rubbish pile ? And the ' beautiful ' sea is bringing more of the rubbish with each wave ? For saner people this beautiful ' beach ' should be enjoyed from a distance ; preferably while looking upon it from a drawing / bed room of a nearby apartment . I said ' saner ' because if you want to sip on your cheap hard drink , while gazing at the hazy Mumbai skyline , this place is tailor made for you. Nothing and noone is going to stop you from your enjoying the ' beach '.

Went here for the weekend with friends! Has multiple activities (badminton, swimming pool etc). The restaurant in the society serves really great food and they also deliver within the society which was great! There is cute scenic spot from where the river passes and is great to enjoy sunsets!

Had gone for valentine's dinner at a cafe called "By the Bae" & saw this beach was at walking distance. Went there around 10-11 pm & it was a memorable experience 🥰❤️ very few people & windy weather.
