A beautiful place for beach picnic. Water and beach is cleaner than other beaches in the area. It wasn't crowded when we visited in the afternoon. You can sit on benches, have snacks from the stalls or bring your own food.

The beach is very secluded and quiet. It also has a long stretch for people to walk or jog, but the sea was completely dead. There were no waves at all, which gave me very creepy and eerie vibes, almost like a haunted beach. There is industrial waste and black muck being dumped in the sea which doesn't make you feel to dip your feet into the water. Overall disappointing!

Dahanu is a quiet town, unhurried and beautiful, laden with a stunning beach and full of sprawling greenery. It is characterized by the presence of the Warli tribe and the Parsis who have lived here for several generations. Lines of fruit orchards are seen everywhere, and the favourite is the chickoo fruit. Every year the place celebrates the Chikoo festival. A lot of time can be spent at Dhanu’s enormous beaches, chasing crabs, walking on the soft sand or just watching the sun melt into the ocean. After the gorgeous sunset, head out to the many eateries serving authentic Maharashtrain cuisine. Away from the cacophony of city life, a good dose of nature awaits the indulgent traveler at every corner.

When i visited this beach at afternoon at 12 then there was no water till the sight but when i came here at 5:30 there was sea water how we see at rhe other beaches. As you can see in the photos below.

Dahanu is a quiet, calm town to visit. It’s a perfect gateway in weekend from mumbai. Dahanu beach having stunning view of sunset and the beach is clean, not much crowd, a park aside to seat and enjoy the view. If you want to enjoy away from mumbai less crowded place Dahanu will be a good choice. Chiku lovers can also enjoy various products of chiku near bordi beach, a outlet is there at the entrance of the beach road.

A very good place to have a one day picnic.. not so crowded as well.. people enjoy a lot over here while playing cricket, flying kites , etc .. a very peaceful place to hangout with your loved ones

The beach was clean by Mumbai standards. The water was still murky and dark and did not give much confidence. It was better than other beaches I had been to in and around Mumbai. The beach itself was peaceful. Enjoyed a walk on the beach.

Its a very long beach.. 4 stars becoz the local authorities did not maintain it properly else its a fantastic place...lots of garbage thrown here n there..hardly found any garbage bins..people drinking and throwing evrything

It’s decent beach , with lots of scope to improve. Not so good to get in to water. Muddy beach. But good place to sit with family to enjoy the view of sea and wind. Not much food option in beach we need go towards main road to get food options.

Dhanu is a place just 110 km away from mumbai . Beach is very clean, you can enjoy the magnificent sunset also air is very refreshing . It feels very peaceful.

Hey, it's awesome to spend time . Many things you'll find there like horse riding,camel riding,horse cart and motor bike riding so on. Many eatables r there I particularly tried maze ,it was very sweet.For children also it's fine for their fun. But it's not appropriate for bathing but beautiful scenery u can capture here.

Dahanu is a small town type village with basic facility and two beach. It is a one of the peaceful beach I have seen still. Not more rush with more than 1 Km shore line. Dahanu’s beach is a pretty long beach with so much of activities all through the year. It’s an amazing site to visit Dahanu during monsoon season. Parking is a big issue if you visit during peek season. The beach front starts from Dahanu and stretches up to Daman. The drive through this coastal road is a great pleasure. The iconic 150+ years old Banyan tree stands at the middle of a junction, leading to the Dahanu beach. Worth visiting with family &friends.

Very serene place.. At just 3 hours from Mumbai city, this is my favourite weekend getaway.. Food is reasonably priced, people are decent, transport is a bit on a higher side.. Around 8kms from dahanu station..
