The place is fab. Quite reasonable for drinks and food for a place like this. Had a veg spaghetti pasta and a veg platter. Both the dishes were nice. The coffee was great considering the fact that they majorly serve liquor. An unusual thing about the place is that people talk in sign language and they have foosball to play. There are two sitting areas one is outside and other air conditioned inside. The thing that I liked the most was the service.

Such a lovely place! The ambience is vintage and really attractive. They have card games and a foosball table for customers. The staff talks in sign language. This one person comes up to you and explains to you how you can order or call them to the table in sign. The menu and bill book also have little gestures on them for simple phrases such as "hungry", "thank you", "1,2,3", etc. Absolutely wonderful! I had a handmade ravioli pasta which was very delicious, it serves one. I also had a chicken pizza which was alright. The menu is vast, they also have numerous vegan options. Must visit once.

Visited the restaurant for a Monday dinner! They start of with an introduction on how to order and basic sign language for one to communicate and order their food. We ordered the watermelon and feta salad and the lasagna. The watermelon and feta salad barely had any feta and wasn’t that great but the lasagna was yummy! I loved the place first of all respect to all the staff working out there they had made there disability into a power working with respect and earning their livelihood. Now comes to food and ambience it was amazing food had the unique taste and was super tasty and atmosphere were peaceful and amazing. Visited on a busy Friday night and the rush was high. Beautiful outdoor sitting arrangements with a lovely ambiance indoors. Just felt like the indoor could be little more spacious as the tables were pretty close to each other and congested. Service staff are courteous and very friendly. Loved and surprised to see the staff serving so beautifully. The small postcards with some sign language guide was really unique and extraordinary. Was catching up with a friend so didn’t try many dishes. Had some beer, a Sangria and a Mezze platter. Portion, presentation and taste wise 4/5. Lovely experience.

One of the best restaurants I visited. Vibes flowing here will make you mad for anything to you. Yeah, the food itself is delicious. This is the place where I treated my taste buds with lots of new endemic flavour. The concept of using signs is also the first time I come across in a resturant. The Mac n cheese Pasta was superb. Madeira and Mime located on 2nd floor inside Koram Mall Thane is a trendiest eating place with an eclectic menu and wonderful crew. As name suggest it is serviced by crew that have hearing and speech disabilities but it is so smoothly managed through hand and mouth movements that it does even create any issue. The ambience if the place is light and not very heavy of lighting nor too dark and music not too loud. We loved the veg and non veg starters and drinks were in happy hour 2+1 and 1+1 offer. Though service is slow it leaves a lot of time to play catch up with friends. A great place to visit. The Melt in mouth Amritsari 🐟 and Mango 🥭 Prawns in 🥥 sauce and aged basmati rice is to die for. The Daru Jor Garam was a good tipple that tickled the taste bud and had us coming back for more. The nachos was standard topped with sour cream and salsa provided a nice touch to the starters. The 🌰 chestnut and 🌽 kabab was incredibly soft and crisp at the same time. With all the food there was no space for Desserts and so a trip back is a must.

The eatery is conveniently positioned close to JVLR. The manager will instruct you on how to speak with the staff as soon as you enter the restaurant.The restaurant is decorated in a rustic style. The meal is excellent. In the evenings you will also find live music. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I'll tell everyone about this eatery. The restaurant is on the pricey side,  but you will not be disappointed if you give it a try.

We had a ex-colleague get-together first time after Covid. The service is top class with the hotel giving employment to people with speech deficiency. A head waiter introduces you to the person waiting at your table and explains the hand-signs for communication with the waiter. The food was excellent and so was the service. A first time experience for me at a restaurant with a social objective. Must go for an amazing experience.

Madeira & Mime is a nice place in the heart of Powai for people who want to spend time with friends or colleagues over a drinks and Dinner. There is open sitting and then there is indoors. We had ordered only starters and all the starters were tasty and delicious. I personally loved potato cheese sticks and the ambience was also good. They have live music too. And most importantly they have hired all the waiters who are deaf and dumb which I truly liked the most.Even though the waiters over there are handicapped but they serve the right food at the right table.

I loved this place, really appreciated to people's work here and owner of the resto bar. Here workers or waiters are deaf-mute. So they have menu cards with signs which they understand and you can order by signs only. There are other people's also who are captains they can speak and hear you. Food quality was best here and silent songs and also they have live singers on some days. I loved the restaurant. Also they having seating arrangements outside. Get service very quickly.

Actually I want to give them 6 stars for their management staff. It happened that I ordered veg Reman from the bowl section and I wasn't happy with the taste and requested them for the bill (Since that was the last order). Management politely requested what changes you would need and suggested they will amend those changes..... Madeira and mime located in Powai is one creative restaurant you are going to visit. If you love Foosball and music that place is perfect for you. We tried butter chicken fondue and Spaghetti. The food quality and quantity was 10/10 with a rich flavour. The service was good and unique as they communicated with sign language. Overall the ambience is mesmerising and the place is a bit pricey but a must go!

Food is out of the world. It is super delicious and tasty. We ordered Mozzarella cheese sticks and Pink sauce spaghetti pasta. The pasta was customized as we prefer spicy pasta. The staff is helpful and they guide you throughout. Please try their Mixed Berry Shake as well!

This is one of the best places we have been to. Such super quality food, drinks and ambiance.and most importantly such a courteous staff. There's a special set of servers here who speak in sign language and I fell in love with them for sure. So sweet and courteous. I just love their hospitality. For food we started with their raw Mango and Singdhana starter which was super yum and completely home made .. it was tangy, sweet and spicy at same time. Loved their Peri Peri chicken as well which we tried and again the chicken here was super tender and tasty. Their highlight was the butter garlic prawns and they had the sauce made inhouse .. it was the yummiest thing we have had this year and will be on top of our list. We tried some of their mocktails as well which we loved. Also we tried all their desserts and we recommend you to try any and you will love it.. our favorite was the baked cheesecake for sure

Bad experience at the reservation desk. Specially on a day like Sunday. I understand you'll have reservation system for dinner or lunch. But, the executive at the desk has no courtesy or professionalism in regards to talking to customers. I love the vibe at Madeira and Mime. The music is tasteful and the staff is great, courteous and very sweet. Clearly 'language is not a barrier here'. The only feedback I would like to give is that they should increase their variety of food and desserts. What we ordered: 1. Garlic pav: 5/5 - these were soft pav breads which were nicely flavoured with garlic. 2. Madras curry with rice: 3/5 - It was an average dish. Honestly, ir wasn't for our pallete. A little too spicy for our taste.

Food was good, service was excellent. The waiters went above n beyond in their service and always served with a smile. Recommend the shredded lamb.

Loved the place and the food. We ordered Corn Pepper Chaat, Street Style Manchow Soup, Thai Veg Curry, Farm Fresh Pizza, Pasta Arabita, and Paneer Curry Rice Bowl. While the food was absolutely filled with flavors, the quantity could have been slightly more, considering most dish is Rs.350 upwards. Ambience, choice of menu everything else was just right.

Loved this place. It's a total experience to visit this place. The staff were amazing and yes they cannot hear and speak. But it was great to interact with them while giving your orders. And you get to learn sign language aswell. The food was delicious. The quantity and quality were very good. Do try out their fish fingers and their caramel custard.

One of my favorite cafes of all time in Powai! Their ordering concept is unique, the menu is extensive and the dishes always turn out satisfying my palate. What we ordered this time - 1) Chicken pesto pasta - The pasta was delicious and the texture of the sauce was perfect without being too creamy. 2) Pillow talk cocktail - this was a refreshingly tangy whiskey based drink. Loved it. Overall - The ambience of the cafe is funky and cozy. They also have a nice snooker pool table, a lovely bookshelf, and a fridge full of toys. Must go if you want to chill and have a fun time.

Similar to the concept of Dialogue in the Dark, the waiters here are a team of Hearing-impaired staff and you've got to use sign language to communicate. Apart from this, you've got a refrigerator full of Board Games and a Foosball Table which reminded us of Chandler and Joey. We played Foosball while waiting on our food. Had Dilli chole with Doubleroti and Teppanyaki Noodles here and the food was nice. Overall an awesome evening!
