We had rented the premises for a private New Year's Party. The Museum is laughably small, with a minimum of items on display. However, the rent for Theresa Villa (and the attached open space), for the 31st of December was very reasonable (we only paid Rs.15,000 [December, 2018]. The local caretaker was friendly and the premises including the surrounding area, was cleaned properly. It also includes a tiny Swimming Pool. A Great place to rent if planning a party, but do not go there specifically to visit the Museum.

Must see if you are studying indian art and culture. You will definately find something eye catching here. Too compact, won't take much of your time but attention.

Very innovative way of show casing the East Indian way of living. Seems like the numbers of this tribe is diminishing. This Museum is fantastic way to show our generation the beautiful people and their history in Mumbai.
