A calm and serene place located inside Shimpoli Road, near Borivali Station (West). A beautiful lane surrounded by nature, birds, flowers and a soothing overall soothing environment. Do visit Gandhi Ji's Photo Gallery (Museum), their plant nursery. They have Khadi Gram Udyog products too!

If the word "Peace" has a place to claim to,then this...the gandhi museum would be that one thing no one can snatch or succeed in getting that apart....The perfact place for gandhi exploration within images and various works that have been put there to attain it....One of the things that i try to learn or like the most of gandhi is the Calmness/Peace that he bought in his character-personality with time and experiences and i think this place is great to get there helped... 2ndβœ…

A beautiful museum to know about the life of Mahatma Gandhi ji. Entry fee is Rs.2 only. School can approach the authority for the permission to bring the students here. It looks lost but its care taker has maintained it beautifully. Everyone must visit once.

The place has a beautiful compound and looks like a place once Gandhi and his friends stayed. Sad that it's not taken care of. Seems like there's no fund to maintain it

Nothing much to write about. Small museum, hidden in the concrete jungle of Mumbai . Even the locals do not know about its presence in their midst. Government should give it some publicity and also upgrade it.

I enjoyed this place as was very interesting in the easy way you could go through Ghandi's whole history. I loved the little models of the major events in his life. I am such a fan of Gandhi that I loved it and found lots about him that I never knew.

the place where first he and then his daughter and grandsons were cremated. The Museum is small. Personal belongings of Gandhi – up to one of the bullets that killed him, his dhoti, in which it hit, his canes, urn with his ashes, and the rest – occupies in the collection a relatively little space compared to magazines and books promoting the teachings of Gandhi and talking about his life. There are audio-visual materials – even a film about his life which is shown to visitors at certain times

Its a nice and quite tranquil place. Didn't realise there's such a quiet place in the Borivali area. Should visit the place to check old photos of Gandhiji and the freedom struggle.

That museum is good as I saw many photos of Bapu Gandhi. But it is difficult to find out the way to museum so better to put big hoarding for the name of Gandhi darshan where is fixed near Reliance Smart. Peoples are easily to search that and visit it. From Shridhar

Its a small museum. The museum mostly comprises of photos which depicts the life events of Mahatma Gandhi The artifacts which is available in the pictures are the only ones available Do not visit if you are not a history lover Visit if you love to know about events that has taken place in the life of Mahatma Gandhi School students will be able to relate, as they have lessons based on those events. At a max you can spend 2 hours (only if you read all the stories written under the pictures) Museum is closed on Sundays And on other days it is open from 11 A.M to 5 P.M
