Hanglas is on the top of my list when I want to pick up food on the go. They have always maintained their taste and standards. Unfortunately, I picked up food today out of which mutton kasha pieces were very hard to chew and had to surrender showing them way to the dustbin. Feel like cheated when you spend your hard earned money going into waste. Hope this does not repeat.............

Guys I have tried multiple biryani here who claims true Kolkata biryani. They may be good but hangla is the best. Try it's biryani. It's awesome 🥰. Alu is big. I love it. I am ordering it once a week. Try it.

Although my personal opinion but I felt the Bengali Biriyani they served here was better than that served by Petuk(also an bengali outlet just next to this one).

Ordered the double chicken roll which took some time to prepare though all ingredients were pre cooked, save for the egg on Paratha. The roll size is good and filling but charging extra for egg wasn't expected as the roll should have come with it as defacto ingredient. Will try their Kolkata biryani next time.

Such a pathetic food here, tried first time bengali food and don't know how bengali people eat extremely less spicy and test less food. Bengali food is just hype. It will only make you appetite but when it comes to taste you will definitely get disappointed.

Today Illish Utsab in Nabi Mumbai Bengali Association was horrible and a total flop show. *Food items as written and charged were not given. *Food quantity was not even sufficient for a child. *Preparation just horrible. * Even the fish was of the cheapest quality. Rs 1900 for a plate was a waste , not only that you people have spoiled the sunday meal. There was no distribution system , people were standing for hours to collect the food packet. This way you have not only spoiled the name of Hangla but defamed the Bengalis as such. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE WE ARE SORRY...as it looks that you have deliberately done this to make a quick profit.

If you are depressed, sad, weak, hungry or weary, try out a biryani from this place, which will immediately put all your pains away. Needless to say, if you order it in your happy times, it'll send you to a different planet. Biriyani was invented to increase the happiness index of the world. And Hangla's has just perfected it. The half plate chicken biryani with one piece of chicken, one egg, and one potato is just heavenly. Try it anytime and thank me later. So many times it has saved my life that I give 10 stars out of 5 for this item alone. You can get Kolkata biriyani here. The taste of the biriyani is good. But every time the chicken in the Biriyani is not fresh! I would suggest them to at least provide fresh quality chicken. But the taste of the Biriyani is good!

Was very impressed with Hangla’s Biriyani quality at their counter at Tulip Star’s at Mukherjee’s Durgapujo on Mahashoshthi midnite. Good quality rice, decent quantity, extremely succulent n tender Mutton pieces and nice aroma, accompanied with alu n dim - made the night special! Thumbs up

Unprofessional restaurant with no work ethics. I ordered on Swiggy from this place, and 5 times in a row they accepted my order, took the payment, kept me waiting for 40 mins without informing me that they cannot service the order even after having received the payment. They hassled me on phone thereafter asking me to change the items originally ordered. So basically they will do anything to accept payment and will then waste your time without servicing your order.

This place serves very delicious, fresh, and authentic Bengali cuisine. The Fish Fry, Roll, and Biryani are a must try. Unlike other outlets, everything is made and served fresh.

Hanglas in Lokhandwala is a place where even non-demanding customers settle for rolls that are mediocre at best. I found it underwhelming, especially because their half plate mutton biryani consisted of only a small, unsatisfying piece of mutton, which felt like a letdown for a biryani lover like me. Additionally, the kitchen hygiene is highly questionable, making it a subpar eatery. It's a last resort for a meal when all other options are unavailable.

Now they have shifted opposite IIT Gate. Food is the best and as Authentic as it can get. Perfect Bengali food. I had taken their services for a birthday party at home and they did not disappoint at all. A definite thumps up from me..👍

Ordered a panner masala with Paratha from here.. I think its fair to say that there was less masala and more oil! Was very disappointed with the food. The paratha also were full of oil.. ordered rice. But its totally worse. Hate I am sure this is not how Bengali food is supposed to be. Dont think I will order from here again.

Absolute gem which lies somewhat hidden in the Andheri mele. I was surprised to see this small little nondescript Bengali food joint and was even more surprised to find that they do authentic Bengali dishes - trust me they do a good job of it. The mutton roll was as good as you can get anywhere outside Kolkata. I couldn't resist having a go at Bhetki fry and i dont regret the choice at all. The mustard sauce that they give along with the snacks - just by the smell and texture you can vouch for its authenticity and it does taste every bit genuine.

It was such a disappointment and I regret to place the order with Hangla powai. We called for 3 mutton rolls with egg and wheat base however to our surprise we got 1 maida roll. All the rolls had half cooked mutton and complete dry inside. Very disappointing experience
