Ordered through a friend's recommendation but the chicken dum biryani was quite disappointing it was very dry.

At a point this one used to be good for biryanis but not any more. Now the biryanis don't taste good at all.

Ordered paneer tikka biryani and it was spicy to a whole new level. We got a 6 inch long cinnamon in a plate of biryani are u kidding me. I don't recommend this anyone as your hard earned money will be a complete waste.

I was very disappointed with their food it did not have any taste and was loaded with too much of masala raita on the other hand was filled only with water not at all worth the money spent.

Biryani rice was not of a good quality. Some of the rice was raw and some was cooked well but overall it was uneven. Quite sad to have such a bad biryani.

Biryani was quite dry and container was broken with watery raita.

Dum Matka is a kitchen situated in Powai. Galleria has a lot of options but when it comes to Biryani, I'll prefer Dum Matka. The presentation of the biryani is unique which is served in a clay pot and as soon as you open it, the aroma is really appetizing. Ordered along with a friend this time so had to try veg. We ordered for Veg Dum biryani. This was well cooked and their was a good mix of assorted veggies. The masala was adequate to the quantity of rice and most importantly the biryani was moist. I have tasted a similar biryani in hyderabad and can be sure this one from Dum matka, was nothing less than an authentic one. The quantity of a popular biryani is good for 2 people to share. A good value for money place to order from.

Go if you only want to have a biryani... Seating is not at all appropriate. Variety of biryani's are available. Not a very good option for vegan's. Also, the seating you can see in one of the picture above is not of this place.

Dum matka is a delivery & takeaway outlet which serves North Indian food & Biryani. Yesterday, we ordered food from there powai outlet. The food was well packed and delivered hot.The quality and the quantity of food from this place is good. Things we tried : 💠 tandoori aloo tikka - They taste delicious and mouth melting with mint chutney accompanied with onion and cabbage salad. 💠 Paneer banjara biryani - flavourful biryani layered with rice, vegetables, paneer and indian spices in matka. It was absolutely delicious with aromatic flavor. 💠 veg biryani - aromatic, flavorful and super tasty. 💠 Gulab jamun - soft, perfect sweet and tasty. Overall had a good experience. Will surely be trying some more biryanis from their menu.

Did not like the chicken tikka biryani. Found it to be blend and dry.

Going to the restaurant and eating has always been one of toughest things. I've always been loving staying home and having food. Dum Matka has good and vast menu offering varieties of Biryani, kebabs and north indian delicacies. Their menu is pretty exciting and fairly priced. We ordered the following - 1) Veg Dum Biryani- priced at ₹250 was really a great deal. The quantity was good and sufficient for 2-3ppl. Biryani was good in taste and served with fresh raita. Overall satisfying. 2) Aloo Dum Biryani- Packed in a matka. Biryani had a good aroma and was upto the mark. Bit on spicy end. Loved it 3) Paneer Tikka Kebab- This was something which was very much perfect and had a good touch of spiciness. Recommended. 4) Gulab Jamun- Always the best way to end the meal. Overall the place is surely VFM. Delivery was on time. Also the packaging was done well. Hygienie - maintained. Rest was the best. Recommended. Go for it!

Dum matka biryani galleria powai. Is just awesome place for you taste buds. The serving style is perfect as the name inside matka. In budget for 2 ppl 400. Though the sitting area is not quite big so need to wait in case of rush..

Dum matka has many outlets and had recently ordered from powai. They have really amazing starters too. Specially paneer tikka. Then in biryaani the chicken dum biryaani was fantastic. I really liked the quantity. Then even the packaging was too good and neat. One should definitely try it out. Specially all biryaani food lovers should go for it.

Very good dum biryanis are served here. Properly cooked with good spices and add ons like dahi salad and roasted papads. Sitting is basically for office crowd in Powai so it's not so much of comfortable but for good biryanis a must visit place.

Mushroom Tikka was on point, a bite into a juicy mushroom unlocks a bunch of flavor in your mouth. Mutton Dum Biryani, was exquisite served in a earthen pot once opened it filled the room with its aroma. amazing in taste had the right amount of spice with succulent mutton pieces in it. must have! Qubani ka Meetha, actually won my heart, had this dessert for the first time in my life and it left me with no words. Dessert made up of apricots and flavored in rose water and filled with dried apricot kernels. Definitely this your next restaurant to try DUM BIRYANI and Qubani ka Meetha! Obviously.

Dum Matka is located in Powai .They have a good variety of dishes.The Appetizers are very good and well packed .The chicken was well marinated . The Matka Biryanis very super tasty the pieces are also very well marinated .The Quantity is good enough for 2 people . Just loved the service and the delivery was also perfect.

Looking for a good BIRYANI thn DumMatka is the right place to be. Known for its Hyderabadi biryanis and the kebabs they offer. I tried the following dish The mushroom biryani was good with veggies & decent amount of masala added. The mushrooms were well marinated and grilled that it tatsed beautiful. The dish would be more justified if there were more mushrooms added. But as a whole the dish was good. The chicken tikka biryani was lovely. I was satisfied with my expectations the chicken was marinated well, being juicy & at the same time a tinch of spiciness. Would really recommend this dish to be tried. The murg banjara kebab were good and the green chutney given went along well which balanced it all. They also take huge corporate orders and deliver right on time, given the time crunch the food was delivered on time and was good.

Ordered from Dum Matka. It's a delivery kitchen which delivers delicious food. The food quality and quantity was amazing. The paneer tikka was soft and juicy. Chicken dum biryani made me swipe my plate clean. It had lot of masala but not like gravy so best to try it with salan how hyderabadi biryani is actually supposed to be eaten. There was very less use of oil in biryani so even calorie conscious people can try it. Quantity of biryani was good enough and we appreciate the delivery done on time.
