Mehmaan nawazi is my favourite restaurant, it is on a little pricier side but food and ambience is great. We were 5 people and we ordered one starter veg kurkuri it was so crispy with the sauce being sweet and tangy. Main course:- Paneer lababdar and Mehmaan mix veg special, garlic naan, butter roti, plain roti, daal khichdi, Roasted papad, chaas. Also ordered a mocktail pink dream which was so tasty. The quantity is enough for 5 people not very much, nor very less. Ambience of the place is so calming admist Hiranandani's scrapers and Greenery. After sunset the ambience is very romantic with candles on the tables.

Mehman nawazi is pure vegetarian restaurant located right on the mountain in Powai. This place has a nice view of mountain, Also the restaurant has total open floor hence Nice Air circulation can be experienced. There are no ACs due to such location but yes Fans are available. You won't feel hot even in summer season in mumbai.Coming to food , Taste and quality wise food is very good. but when it comes to quantity and price you will feel the 5 star hotel charges. Because any starter ordered will be charged over 450 per plate which will have 5-6 peices. So before making any imagination just keep this in mind that a group of 8 ppl will also have to order 2 plates everytime.. i think 1000-1200 rupees per person is something you should consider..

Pathetic Takeaway Experience! I ordered a Dal Makhani, a Paneer Lababdara and Mehmaan Special Seekh (Starter) - Out of which only the Dal Makhani was correct, I dont know what the rest of the 2 exactly were. I can without a doubt call them hot mess! On top of it, Dal Makhani was STALE, and smelling so bad, making it unfit for consumption! Over and above all, the restaurant does not want to speak on phone. Pathetic! The food was approximately worth INR 1300, and I would not recommend anyone this restaurant ever again!

An awesome place , the snacks are very savoury . Veg kurkuri is very tasty and stuffed cheese is outstanding . The atmosphere is very relaxing and mind soothing and brings calmness . The flavours of food is very good . The restaurant staff are very polite and cooperative . Snacks are much better than main course . So , I would suggest only try snacks .

A place more of a average food at extraordinary location. A wrongly defined places as a rooftop restaurants. The place is more for a disturbance from neighboring pub. Shall not recommend for the family who wants to enjoy the dinner in calm places. Also the place is too dark to read the menu out. Not only that one of the staff from waiter wasn't seem to be happy while we were asking the content of the dishes. Overall average experience.

Loved the food! The Ambience also. However wasn't happy with 10% extra service tax , as per law it is not supposed to be taken if you already charging GST and All ! Rates are damn too high as well! Also the quantity is bit less as compare to it's cost! Quality no doubt it's awesome! Just fine tune and it's done! 3.5 star ⭐

Had dinner at Mehman Nawazi last night - it was my first visit to the restaurant, I had been to Breeze and love the ambience of this entire place. For the ones who don't know - Breeze and Mehman Nawazi are like two restaurants under one roof, on two sides. Breeze is a lounge and Mehman Nawazi is a pure north Indian restaurant (more family like ambience). It's a roof top restaurant so winter is the best times to visit it. They have a huge screen showing matches, the tables are spaced out, the food is good and the service is very very prompt (it almost felt like the food was ready and they had to warm it and serve 😜) Overall a good place for family dinners. Another perk, you can sit on your chair and groove to the awesome DJ mixes playing at Breeze 😁. Also, it is a pure vegetarian restaurant.

This restaurant is not at all living upto even the most basic standards. The food is good but the service is bad. Most tables were vacant but we were not given those to dine in stating they are reserved whereas I had called a few days prior to ask about the reservation and they said just walk in. I was asked to sit near the washroom which I didn’t like. Secondly they served the food within seconds of ordering which seemed not properly cooked. They took away out plates while we were eating and straight away got finger bowls without asking whether we would like to have desserts. When suggested the manager about the issue he only nodded his head and said yes this is a problem here. No apologies. It’s clear they don’t care about the consumers. To top it all they charged service charge for such obnoxious staff behaviour. It’s not worth the money.

To sum up my experience at Mehman Nawazi... it was " Awesome" The food, ambience, service all were really good... the food was served Hot & delicious... we were a gang of 12 & all of us enjoyed every bit of the time spent there... The music was soothing... the place - breezy and spacious... if you are vegetarian food lover... I would really recommend this Fine Dine place for a romantic evening, a family get together or to bring in a special event... We were all so busy eating & chatting... missed clicking food pictures. Also try to make reservations before visiting... as it's pretty crowded on weekends.

Pure vegetarian restaurant with an amazing open roof ambience and located in an amazing hill location of Hiranandani! Greatt food choices available and swift service.. they also serve a free lovely dessert at the end of the meal. The view from this restaurant is veryyy amazing with lush green hills on one side and Powai lake on the other. P.S: If you want to have drinks there's another place called Breeze just adjacent to it with a Powai lake view

Mehman Nawazi in Powai has the most finesse North Indian food in Mumbai. Food here is expensive but it is worth every penny spent. Must try dishes: paneer lababdar, paneer tikka biryani, veg kurkuri. Starters: Veg Kurkuri : 5/5 It was the most amazing starter and the dip was a delight. The dip was a sweet and tangy one! Tandoori aloo bharwan: 4/5 Nice but could have been better. Hara bhara kebab: 2/5 It was bland. Bhatti da paneer: 4/5 It was really soft and a treat to the mouth. Main course: Paneer lababdar : 5/5 This was the best sabzi I've ever tasted. Definitely visiting again just for this dish. Malai Kofta: 4/5 This was a sweet one (which I was pre-informed about). It was not bad Sabzi da kheema: 4/5 It was finely chopped vegetables with an attractive taste. Bread basket: 4/5 This basket is really economical if it's a group. It includes a variety of bread options at a cheaper rate. Paneer tikka biryani: 5/5 Best combination of rice with paneer and tikka masala one could possibly imagine. Still drooling over this! Curd with jeera was served and it enhanced the taste of biryani and was soothing. Paan shots are served post food which is deliciously refreshing.

Limited choice in main course.. They could have more variety.. Also since they share premises with Breeze lounge, they should provide their menu options also specially for sizzlers..

A nice place with a nice variety of food. The staff is very good. Ambience is nice with low on lights and a projector screen. I personally liked snacks, starters and soups more than the main course. Overall a good dine in place with low or no music and slightly for higher budget gatherings.

Not a good choice. Time taken to bring any order is too much. They recommend Mehman special soup which is pathetic. There is lot of darkness. The worst part was, we found STAPLER PINS in our paneer plate (inside the paneer pieces)...the waiter said sorry and manager didn't even cared to talk to us. Avoid visit category..

The ambience is really good with green hills in the background, service is attentive. The goodness ends here. The food quality is very mediocre, thanks to the service I am being liberal. Now about the taste, dip your tongue in liquid paraffin before you taste anything, the chef has no idea if ever food had flavour or taste. Foodies better avoid the place or be ready to be totally disappointed. Lychi ki tehri was a decent dessert. And 20% discount made me add an extra star.

Ambience - Top Notch, very calm serene feeling with amazing music and live match screening Food - Food was great! However, possible to include more food options in the menu (specially Jain Food) Value for money - Slightly overpriced but comparing basis the location it's pretty much in line with other restaurants around It'll cost around 1000 per head. Overall! definitely a must visit place specially for a family lunch / dinner, birthday parties. P.S- The fans weren't appropriately working and it was really hot on 3-Oct 2021 when we visited.

We were looking for a nice place to celebrate a birthday with family members and this restaurant clicked all checkboxes. It is situated at Hiranandani, at a comfortable height of 8th floor. The floor is open fashioned giving an exclusive view of the Hiranandani towers. The open structure of the restaurant gives comfortable passage of natural air to go along with awesome food and drinks on offer. We ended by savouring on starters and Pahadi Paneer Biryani. Among the starters, the following are in the order of must try Chulbuli Cheese Kebab Schezwaan Paneer Tikka Mehmaan Special Seekh Melting Moments (Veg Galo) The biryani was too tasty and served as a perfect dish to call of the dinner. The restaurant levies 10% Service Tax.

Food - The food is just great and delicious, however it is a little pricey and the quantity is a little less. I had a kebab in the starter, papad, bread and vegetable. Pineapple raita was great but less quantity - just got finished between 2 of us with food still remaining. Ambience - Great ambience with candle light dinner kinda setup. The ambience of breeze is much better though with spectacular views in the evening. Service - Service was great, timely refilling of water, good recommendations and amazing service.

We went for lunch. The waiter seemed not interested in taking our order. The food was okay. Their soya chaaps are not that great. Naans and paneer gravy was fine. They charged us 10% service charge even after government's circular. When we asked the manager to remove it from the bill, he gave us judgemental expressions.

  • 2/5 dhaval S. 1 year ago on Google
I had rated 5* earlier and downgrading based on today’s experience. As soon as we sat for dinner they were in hurry for us to finish and go. They managed to get us out of restaurant within 1 hr 15 minutes. Waiter started by saying no for many items and ended up saying that they have a large order and hence not taking order for things that require longer prep time. He was also in hurry to clear the table and came and asked if he can clear the table within 45 mins of us sitting on the table. We kept saying we also need options without cheese and paneer and he kept offering options with cheese and paneer. When we filled up form and rated service as poor, he asked why Food was good but the experience was quite bad for above reasons

I went to this place with my colleuages. The resutarnt is on 8th floor rooftop open air ambience. It is a perfect place for dinner date night. You get Awesome view of powai from here. They offer only veg food. Food is really tasty. I liked the concept of kurkure shots and loved the litchi ki tehari and the mocktails. Service was superfast. Staff was friendly and polite . We were offeredΒ  complementary pan shots at the end of dinner. Foodoverpriced. All vegetarians must try this. Restroom is available. Would recommend this place to everyone. One of the best vegetarian restaurant in powai. Would suggest to book the table in advance.
