Good food had chana masala Appam and idiyappam. Was okay.

This is a small restaurant near Seven Hills Hospital in Marol. Easy to notice. Small place, has around 6 or so tables with each table seating 4. Lot of veg and non veg items including fish. Breakfast items include Idli, Idiappam, Appam, Dosas, Puttu, Ghee Roast etc. and are only available till 12pm. I had Puttu, Appam and Surmai Masala. The portions are good and the taste is, well, better than most but I wouldn't call it great. The prices are reasonable and affordable too.

Food quality has gone down 4 the past 2yrs.. sambar doesn't taste like it used to be..tastes like daal.. beef fry prices have rocketed to 200rupees from just 90 rupees earlier.. the crowd have diminished especially on Thursday days wherein they serve on banana leaf..

The experience was okay, a little miscommunication can land you a bill of more than Rs. 200/- rather than just Rs. 160/-. So be clear what you're ordering also make sure the waiter has heard you properly...

Anyone related to Kerala will always yearn for Kerala food and this is one joint propagating Kerala food the cook is Bengali and not a single Malayali can be seen. But, you get Kerala type food here like biryani, fish curry meals etc. A one time try is recommended.

Visited this restaurant twice. The fried items are awesome. Minor variations are suggested in curry.because every curry tastes the same. Excessive use of turmeric and tomato in curries. Need a minute tweaking. The traditional keralite food is tasty and well served. The natural taste of fish to be preserved as excessive washing of fish reduces it's sea water taste. Rest everything is fine. There is a scope for improvement.

Had order the curd rice from this resto and the will not be even sufficient to a 3 yr kid... Third class quantity.. how will an adult get satisfied.... Useless hotel

This is a proper south Indian hotel having kerlian food, taste of food is also good, appam is the most lovable item here, you can also take away the food, they also deliver to your place if you're staying near by, breakfast also good, service is also good they give your order in 10 to 15 min.nice place to visit for lunch or quick bite.

Wanted to try authentic Kerala food. But was disappointed as the food was very dry overall. Chicken 65 was full of bones and not upto the mark.

Because of name i visited here , order speacial thali which came in Banana leaf! But the number quantities in thali was very much less , even Motta rice which is speciality of Kerala was not there , even in unlimited thali if u order Kerala paratha they charged u extra !

Had an awesome experience at Spice of Kerala... I got a chance to have all three meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner i never expected such and authentic taste outside kerala, Everything that i ordered was fresh and tasty, it takes 20-30mins to serve but it’s worth. Price is ok, good behavior by the staff and owner, clean atmosphere. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends. All the very best.

Tried having breakfast here. The dosa was decent. Chicken Stew wasn't worth its name. Palampuri was great. Small place to have a quick bite. Didn't try the fare they are better known for.

Authentic kerala style food is available here in an affordable rate. Although this is a small restaurant which can accommodate only few people at a time, they provide tasty food. Mini "Sadhya" is available here every Wednesday.

As a person coming from kerala I can assure you that this place is total waste of money, only the name says kerala. The food taste nothing like kerala food. Such a disappointment. I should have gone for some other cuisine than ordering from this place. Not for promotion or favour This is real disappoint talking.

The place doesn't totally serves authentic Kerala dish, but the menu item is unique to the area it serves and the rates also are pretty reasonable. rate to quantity ratio is pretty good, those visiting for glitters and glamour wouldn't be totally satisfied but the food here is decent enough to satisfy one's appetite.

Experieneced the worst service today. Went there for their wednesday special sadhya thali. The waiter informed us that they dont have the kerela boil red rice, but the normal rice and all other items in thali would be available. We got seated and started our lunch only to realize that mid lunch they ran out of sambhar and all the other vegetables. They didnt have Rasam as well. We were just left with plain white rice in our plates. Extremely disappointed by the service. They should have informed us if there wasnt sufficient food left, instead of serving us left over half served food.

Once I get reheated old beef dish and they serve.....i complaint there they don't even accept the fault.

The foods are simple as they are..U won't get that type of food at almost mumbai cities..and also with a good manner they are always in the involvement with customers 👌.. The parota was cold, the banana fritters were cold, the banana fritters were made from regular bananas and not traditional Nendran bananas... The pothu fry and pothu ullarthiyathu are nothing to write about

Not really the spice of Kerala. We visited during lunch time on a Sunday and it was a bland veg thali with cold sambar rice. It wasn't even warm. Then the worst plate of Iddiappam, like it was a left over dish. Everything else was almost over, I mean they were out of main items. Only the consolation was the egg dry roast was nice. Rest all food was cold and bland. Disappointed in this place.

While in Marol, had visited this place one evening looking for banana fry. We found them to be good. Ended up trying the aappams with egg curry. Those were good too...
