When confused what to eat, thali is really the best option and maharaja bhog is one of them to try it. Very polite staff greets you when you enter and humbly with a smile they serve you. Options of food is really vast right from starter to dessert you will get good and tasty options. Visited this place again as first experience was nice but to much disappointment. We went on a weekday. We were prepared for not having much options but they didn't stand up to the mark also. Service was not apt at all for starters they took so long then main course. To my surprise the food was not at all tasty. None of us enjoyed the food except for the kesar drink they offered in the start. We almost left the thali as it is.

Excellent food, service and ambiance !! During our visit to Oberoi Mall, we had dinner over here. We were received with a big smile on their faces. There was one huge thali on a table for six people, but since we were only four, they adjusted the table accordingly. They started with sandalwood and saffron juice with honey then two farsans and papad with chutney. The main course had 4 vegetables, 3 types of rotis, dal and kadi, chhas, khichdi and plain rice and 2 deserts. Extra ghee and butter was always on call. The food was very delicious. We loved it. The service was as good as food. They wanted us to eat more and more. The ambiance was quite good with family crowd. The prices were very reasonable at Rs. 650 per thali. Worth visiting. Value for money.

We tried the Maharaja Bhog for the second time, once at Inorbit Mall and now at Oberoi Mall. I must say, I love this concept of being able to try different vegetarian dishes. However, during our visit at around 2pm, the restaurant was quite busy and not as organized as their Inorbit branch. Nevertheless, the premium veg thali, priced at around 699 rupees per person, was still affordable and worth every penny. I highly recommend giving it a try when you're in Mumbai!

We previously dined in Juhu outlet and we tried this outlet and found this one better than the other one. Layout and Ambience wise this place is much better, seating space, lighting and overall service was better than the Juhu one. Coming to the food, it was too good and definitely taste wise better than the other outlet too. We weren't rushed to eat here. Although service can be improved better, since we had a lot of wait time between items. Overall good experience and still definitely try again.

We had dinner at Maharaja Bhog at Oberai Mall. Excellent service and great food. Food need to be little bit spicy but otherwise it is great to visit. Too much crowed. We were waiting for 15-20 min 😀.

Excellent place if you are into Royal Thalis. Unlimited items with every dish having a unique taste which makes you ask for it again and again. The ambience of the place is also very premium. The service is very quick and they never let any of the item in your plate get finished unless you tell them that your tummy can take no more. All in all a must visit for any foodie. It is located on the top floor of Oberoi Mall Mumbai and is also present in a couple of locations across the city

They serve delicious thali which have cuisines from rajasthan and gujarat. A very good dining experience you will love it but there are so many things to eat and you can't eat all of them as it's become very heavy. A good appetite is required to fully enjoy and recover thali cost. It's okay to go once in 6 months to enjoy the thali meal. Rs 713 + taxes on weekends. For kids the cost is half. The price is a bit on the higher side. Trick: don't take kids thali if the kid is small.

Located inside Oberoi Shopping Mall top floor where you can find different restaurants like Main Land China and many more as usual they offer thali system namely gujrati or rajasthani , it's a good place to go with the group where you eat and move fast the service is so quick that the entire food is served within few minutes it's unlimited thali so you can eat as much as you can , talking about the food it's good and served hot i cant rate the food as i am not much of a thali fan .

They served one of the best veg thali. They shows good variety in food and serves different menu thali every day. Also special thali on occasions. Like we had tiranga theme food on 26th Jan. I had food here many times and always like a lot. Staff here is very friendly and around you to serve best food. Their manager, owners personally connects with you and suggest special food of the day to have, how to eat those. They also looks after your satisfaction on food and pay attention towards improvement. Overall Best Experience.

This is the second Maharaja Bhog outlet that I've visited and I'm as pleased as the first time. Their unlimited thali is truly a royal experience. If you gotta taste some great gujrati/rajastani food, this is your place. One of the things I absolutely love about them is their welcome drink. I find it quite unique and very refreshing. Their thali is quite gigantic with more than 10 varients of food in it including sabjis, rotis, dalbati, papads, chatani and much more.. There were two types of desserts namely gajar ka hawla and fruit custurd. The staff was a cherry on top. They were so genuine and apt at thier service. The whole experience was worth every penny. Do visit

Oh wow! First time eating in Maharaja Bhog and this was such a great experience. I cannot pinpoint any food item that I didnt love. My favorites had to be the welcome drinks ( chaas and the saffron drink). I just kept going for second helpings of everything because I loved it that much. At the end of the meal, I was completely in a food coma but I was so satisfied! Truly felt like a maharaja while eating such rich sumptuous delicious food. Cant wait to come back again here soon!!😀😀

Had a fabulous time and what a spread ❤️. Not something I would visit often but definitely worth an experience based on the daily menus. They have a Royal menu and one needs to for sure experience a Maharaja level thali once. It is a massive spread of scrumptious food items which keep on justifying each other. Perfect menu and need to keep in mind to have a great appetite to actually have a maharaja level meal :p. The best is their welcome drink which starts with such a smooth flavour in your mouth. Gets you started for a great incoming meal. Overall ratings: Food : 4/5 Ambience : 3.5/5 Staff : 4/5 Service :4/5 Will suggest all to give it one try.

One of the iconic restaurants of Mumbai - perhaps one may call it Mumbai's answer to Haldiram's in Nagpur or Adyar Ananda Bhavan in Chennai... they have a different thaali menu everyday.. with different items You should call and enquire about the menu before you decide to go. Price per thaali is about Rs. 650 per head during weekdays and goes upto Rs. 1000 during weekends and special holidays - during which it is always more elaborate. To enjoy thoroughly - you should sit for a good 2 hours simultaneously eating and digesting the big meal!

This is on the third floor of Oberoi Mall. They serve unlimited Rajasthani / Gujarati Thali, with one welcome drink (sharbat), chach, 2/3 sweets, 4 sabji's, options between sweet dal and spicy dal, options between sweet kadi and spicy kadi, stuffed Paratha, Puri, and phulka. This is apart from the khaman/dhokla and some daily snack (changes every day). For this unlimited Thali they charge Rs.650/- plus GST.

I have been visiting Maharaja Bhog for the past 8 years, and it has consistently provided my family and me with a wonderful dining experience. Being Gujarati, we have a deep appreciation for their cuisine. What sets this place apart is their diverse menu that changes regularly. Not only is the food delicious, but it is also hygienic and reasonably priced. On busy festival days, the service may be a bit slow, but it's understandable given the demand. Overall, Maharaja Bhog remains our favorite choice for a great family dining experience.

#latepost I don't realise how much I am eating and at the end it's difficult for me to get up.😅 It is not happening all the time. But certainly experienced this situation when I checked in restaurants like these. This Gratify my heart a lot. I am frequent customer of @maharajabhogindia all outlets in Mumbai which is famous for colossal traditional spread that gladden my taste buds as always. They also (long time back) introduced 30 days 30 different menu to curtail monotony. Offering wide range of cuisines made in utmost high quality and hygiene, you will not regret to miss even a single dish on plate. One thing which I am very happy is that they are also focused on various traditional delicacies except from the kitchen of Gujrat and Rajasthan for example Misal which you can see in this pic apart from this Daal Pawan, Dahi Palak Bhaji, Ragda Patties etc ditto with vegetables. There will be one more additional dessert on weekends and special farsan as well. Food served is hot and fresh. Welcome drink made up of Chandan feels so soothing and refreshing. Service is absolutely on the toes and fast. Guests won't be waiting long for repeat orders to arrive. In past except few occasions where I experienced worst quality of dal, kheer, sabjis, it's a roller coaster experience. After taking feedback they have much improved. Hence it's one of my favorite and regular place to fill my stomach to the fullest capacity. 😅

The best part of this place is you get to taste different menus every day. However, it will be great, if the food is served with patience and not with haste. Many times, two food items gets mixed, because the food is served with haste. Must visit.

Maharaja Bhog is a nice place to eat in. Good quality of food and unlimited food. But they should keep prices somewhere around 500/ per person. More than that is not for everyone's pocket. Overall everything is good. Good staff Good food

If you're looking for a dining experience that takes you on a journey through the rich and diverse flavors of India, then look no further than Maharaja Bhog Restaurant. Maharaja Bhog offers an exquisite thali experience, presenting an assortment of dishes that highlight the diverse culinary traditions of India. Each thali is a perfectly balanced mix of aromatic curries, delectable vegetables, lentils, rice, bread, and delightful desserts. The flavors burst with authenticity, and you can taste the passion and expertise that go into every dish. From the spicy and tangy curries to the creamy and rich kheer, every bite is a celebration of India's culinary heritage. And the best part is that you can enjoy unlimited servings, so you can indulge in your favorites as much as you desire! While Maharaja Bhog may be considered a bit upscale, the overall experience justifies the price. Considering the unlimited servings and the royal treatment you receive, it's undoubtedly worth every penny. In conclusion, Maharaja Bhog is a restaurant that not only satisfies your taste buds but also pampers you like royalty. It's an ideal place for a special occasion, family gathering, or even just a lavish treat for yourself. The restaurant's dedication to quality, exceptional service, and authentic flavors make it a true gem in the culinary landscape. If you haven't visited Maharaja Bhog yet, I highly recommend you do—you won't be disappointed!

The quality has certainly come down... There were rude encounters with the serving staff...few items were not served till the end when we reminded them about it.. also, the wait time for the items to be served again was too much...overall, Maharaja Bhog in Oberoi Mall has lost its charm ...Was really disappointed with them. No value for money 💰💰.

I enjoyed the food and the service. The vegetarian meal is enjoyable and satisfying. The free top up is a bonus. The staff are competent and attentive enough. It gets busy from 1pm onwards. I got in around 12:30pm for lunch and there were only a few people.

This is one very overrated place for vegetarians. I did not like even one of their several sabji (vegetables) options to ask for repeat. If you have a taste for real good food, you are definitely going to get disappointed here. Their offering of sweets were way too sweet, as if they have come out right from the sugar factory. All of this for INR 750 is not justified even cost wise. Ambience and presentation are undoubtedly good, hence the crowd.

  • 3/5 Debajani H. 11 months ago on Google
Food was not as expected. Paneer sabji was more like paneer bhujji..broken pieces of paneer. They will replenish as many times you want... because the taste is not so appealing did not ask for more. Even aamras was average tasting.

Not a good experience in MaharajaBhog located in Oberoi mall, Goregaon - this time. Never going back. Slow & not at all warm service, no refilling, lesser options & extra money. Incomplete serving or few items not served at all. Used to enjoy it earlier. Overall waste of money this time probably due to covid. Rather eat my mum's food. Much tastier. #badservice #mumbai #OberoiMall

Once you enter, you will truly feel like a king having his lunch. 5 Sabjis, 2 appetizers, A welcome drink and 2 Indian sweets unlimited. Staff is also amazing. Just a heads-up, go in only if you are hungry else the 600 rupees thali will not get its justice.
