I had the pleasure of dining at the luxurious restaurant last night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with impeccable service and a warm ambiance that set the tone for the evening. The decor was elegant, with a perfect balance of modern and classic elements. The soft lighting and comfortable seating created an intimate atmosphere that was perfect for a special occasion. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu was a culinary masterpiece, offering a tantalizing array of dishes that appealed to a variety of tastes. Each course was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and the chef's attention to detail was evident in every bite. The wine list was extensive, featuring a wide selection of both local and international wines. The sommelier was knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect wine to complement our meal. Of course, dining at a luxurious restaurant comes with a higher price tag, but the overall experience was worth every penny. It's a place I would highly recommend for a special occasion or when you simply want to indulge in the finer things in life. This restaurant is a true gem and a testament to the art of fine dining.

If you want to eat delectable South Indian fare this is the place to go to Done up In Great detail, with even the menu designed with motifs pertaining to Southern india, this restaurant is situated right next to the International Airport ,hardly a 5 min drive away! A traditional Diya greets you at the entrance and you are welcomed with a smile and a gajra for the ladies! True South Indian style You ponder over a menu crafted on silk with dance mudras adorning each page! The gold border given as the ladies love their gold ! Suresh the Captain was very helpful in explaining the various concepts and helping us choose too! To start the meal , on the Silver thalis with a plantain leaf we were served coconut, ginger, tomato and tamarind chutneys ! A basket of papad was placed on the table while we waited for our meal of kozhi kozhambu ( pepper chicken ) and Meen Manga Charu (pomfret )And Kai korma ! Simply delicious with appam and veechu parotta! Appam is decidedly better than the Parotta We ended up ordering 3 plates of appam and one parotta! They come in serving size of two each Enough for four adults! We had no place for dessert! Must not forget the rasam ! Hot and tasty and a fitting accompaniment to the meal ! Definitely Recommended

Was sceptical of going to a South Indian restaurant but the food here has opened my eyes to brilliant South Indian food. Had Kozhi Kozhambu (chicken gravy), Meen Manga Charu (Pomfret fish in Tamerind Mango Curry) and Kai Korma ( a mixed veggies dish) for main course With Appam and Veechu Paratha Hands down the food was brilliant Was also supprised by the staff with complimentary Rasam. Again a must have. Mr Suresh who was very knowledgeable explained that Rasam is prepared differently in different parts of South India. The one served in this restaurant is a Tamil version. A highly recommended restaurant.

Terrible service, average food, tiny portions and prices reaching the roof. Zero value for money, unimpressive food and taste. So sad the quality of “five star” restaurants in the city is on a decline.

This is a restaurant that is more style over substance - dazzling presentation with mediocre food quality. Lots of extreme presentation and fanfare with certain items such as serving toro sashimi on a block of ice the size of Colaba. They strive to be an authentic Japanese izakhaya but anyone who is a Japanese food lover will be disappointed. All of the sushi we had is was not up to fresh international quality standards and the same was true with the hot food items. We ordered lamb chops and requested medium rare but it was served well done. When I asked the chef about the mishap he mentioned that Indian clientele prefer food that is more well done. If you want to have Japanese food in a 5 Star setting with a great view of Mumbai then you will like Yuuka. If you have eaten quality sushi in locations outside of India such as Morimoto or Nobu then you will be disappointed in the quality and price point. One positive is that they serve fresh wasabi which is hard to find and to see it in India was surprising. I recommend Kofuku in Bandra West - reasonable price point and higher food quality. And you will find a lot of Japanese clientele there as well.

Everything about this place seemed welcoming and wonderful. Loved the ambience and courtesy of the service staff. The plan is to visit this cafe again to ensure There is enough time to savor the amazing food choices. The key wonderful things about this place are the cute Graffitis across the wall which is also a nice place to sit quietly and read a book to unwind from a busy day.. Will visit soon to experience a memorable time.

One of the best South Indian Cuisine fine dining restaurants in India. It has specialities from all four southern states and malabar dishes including Goanese. Dakshin serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian sophisticated dishes. Would recommend fish dishes from malabar, vegetarian dishes from Tamil Nadu and meat dishes from Andhra.

In an attempt to capture the true essence and beauty of Southern India, Dakshin ensures that no (banana) leaf is left unturned (quite literally!). Right from the melodious Carnatic music tracks to the staff clad in traditional South Indian styled dhotis, this outlet took me back to my roots. The staff goes a step further by offering strings of 'mogra' flowers which women, traditionally pin on to the hair. The atmosphere is so serene and soothing that you will crave for that kind of tranquility once you step back into the city. Barely a few kilometers away from the international airport, Dakshin Coastal is an absolute winner in terms of ambience, food and service. A special mention for the beautifully designed menu card as well. To begin with, we were served a complimentary basket of assorted 'papadams' (papad) and chips which were crisp and light. We started off our meal with two starters - the Iyer's Trolley (an assortment of three types of mini-dosas) and the Vazakhai Shunti (raw banana dumpling). Particularly enjoyed the Iyer's Trolley as it has the perfect combination of regular and sweet dosas. Would highly recommend it for those who like variety. The quantity was just right for four people. If you're obsessed with Malabar Parathas as I am, then that along with their Kai Korma is a must try! The two dishes work so well together that you wouldn't want to stop eating. We tried their Aapam which was extremely soft (in the middle) yet crisp (on the sides) which complemented the Kai Korma. An alternative to the Korma is their vegetable stew. We ordered the Neer Mor (spiced butter milk) to wash down the food which was a good decision. The dessert portions are enough for one. We attacked the Elaneer Paysam and Adai Pradaman which was an interesting combination because the former was cool while the latter was warm. Both dishes uniquely prepared and signify the perfect end to the meal. The only glitch in our experience was that the manager had no record of our reservation when we had specifically made one the day before. However, their service more than made up for it. If you believe that South Indian cuisine only comprises idli and dosa then please do visit Dakshin Coastal as it will renew your perspective!

I heard the restaurant's name in magazines... Ambience is really good, service was on point, cocktails were very nice but the food was a huge disappointment.... I don't know what chefs do there.... For the name of Ting Yen food was a large shock for me... Even the steamed edmame was uncooked and too salty, prawn tempura had way too much batter and coffee moose lacked coffee

When I came to Yuuka by Ting Yen the great. I was shocked to see the ambience as it was very fancy and I had not expected that. The food was amazing and Moti, the waiter had given us a complementary drink although we did not order any. He made the wasabi paste in front of us using the natural plant and was very friendly. He even took me to the kitchen to show me the different varieties of seafood they had. The seafood is weekly supplied from a famous market in Japan hence it is very fresh. I recommend ordering the Non-Vegetarien set menu as it has a large variety. The salmon and Tuna maki rolls were very good and so was the 40 layer green tea cake. I highly recommend this restaurant to all the Japanese cuisine cravers. All the recipes were very different and innovative.

I had a really bad experience here with the staff. Food was mediocre too.

The starters were great with the idli, podi idli and the paniyaaram being outstanding - the best I have had.

Despite the popularity of this restaurant, the service was amazing and we got our food very quickly. The food here deviates from your average south Indian restaurant as I found their spices and food to be very flavourful. Moreover, the culmination of South Indian flavour in this restaurant is quite impeccable.

A cute little place with great food and atmosphere. The literary twist on the cocktails and food menu was fantastic. We had the blueberry cheesecake, which was delicious and light, but we expected a little more effort in presentation based on photos on Zomato and Google maps. Nonetheless, we had a great time eating here and would return. It comes highly recommended!

We went to eat here last night as we were looking for non regular food. First, I gulped a paan - usually eaten after the meal but I could not resist. We were welcomed by the towering personality of the Chief Chef Mr Kasi. He doesn’t leave any stone unturned in extending his personal hospitality to you by explaining about cuisine and suggesting what we should eat. We had Rasam, amazing. Papads which come with variety of Sauces. And you have unlimited supply of that. I wish Inhad a good appetite. Appams were very soft and very well made. It was fun to eat South Indian food at Dakshin Coastal.Thanks all the team and wonderful Chief Chef Kasi.

Excellent food! Service is slow but then can't complain cause I just loved the food.

ITC has been always been offering the best in town culinary food prepared by its MasterChefs, our recent visit was to have a grand thali which was authentic made so as the professional services by praneet, but this place needs a serious make over in terms of ambiance, my friend was distracted by the wobbling tables but our server was quick enough to stabilize it. All together we had a great evening at ITC.

A restaurant is well located, with beautiful modern design. Should be fine Japanese dining. Great view of the city from the high floor. Crazy overpriced for what you get. The food was good but not more than that, not even prepared by a Japanese chef. The atmosphere is dull. Won’t recommend it.

Had a visit here today . The food was so so although authentic Japanese. Only if something was good in my Bento Box , it was the soup . And apart from that , the mocktail.

Delicious and the chefs were very friendly. If you catch them when it's slow, and are polite, you can try to order something off menu like the mochi. The prices are a bit high since they're importing so much, but if you don't mind that, then go for the sake and toro sushi. Ask if they have truffle icecream as well if you want to taste a whole new flavor.

I don't know why people don't understand the necessity of a Japanese restaurant. The restaurant has to offer many good things. Place obviously 5/5 (The St. Regis) view undoubtedly the best onlooking its competitor the four season. Food is good as i am a fan of Japanese food. I try to get as many friends as possible because there is no authentic Japanese as good as yuuka.

Mr. ALLWYN did a superb job this evening explaining all the different preparations. Lots of attention to detail and care. The food is just amazing and to die for. I 100% recommend this restaurant. Had a great business meal and my party was very happy of the choice. Give it a try!

I have been here before and it has been good so far but this time a disaster. We went there for a dinner party in a group of 20 for a sitdown pre set meal. They could not handle it well. Infact stew qty prepared was half . Other curries also was less. For first round itself. It was not sufficient. I failed to understand this kind of gross error. We requested special spice free meal while booking, they served spicy fritters saying it is not spicy itself and when we complained the argument was spice is less. They do not understand difference between less spicy and spice free food. So just to soothe the mouth for this spice, we asked for ice cream to be served asap for one of the guest floor which took 10 minutes to come. Overall very poor service. They can not handle large number with one or two special request meals. Very disappointing. Serving proportion went very wrong. I had to say sorry to my guest. Not visiting again.

It was a mixed bag. Some items were good and some not upto the mark. Desserts were completely off. Service also could have been better.

From the moment you walk up the stairs to La Sosta you are greeted with a traditional Buona Sera, which warmed my heart immediately! Taken to our seats and offered water and a drinks menu. Then the food!!! Absolutely amazing. We shared 4 antipasto for entrees. Delicious calamari, capressio, croquettes and chorizo Then our mains, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his risotto and I was over the moon with my pizzoccheri (a traditional dish from the Valtellina area) Deserts that followed were equally as good Definitely be going back to this wonderful place. Great for couples or a big group
