Grand Hyatt has always been known for its pizzas. One of the first few places to begin woodfire pizzas. I have grown up and all my dad has spoken is how good their pizzas are. I have tasted them too. But this time I headed to 55 EAST for their thanks giving sunday brunch. Its just a very nice feeling to go for a brunch where everyone is celebrating the feeling of grateful. I entered in and was welcomed by the Moet Chandon collection everywhere at the bar. Then as I walk towards my table, there is a huge dessert counter and hola yes I am gonna start describing it from the other side in reverse. Being the strawberry season, there was strawberry cream, strawberry tarts. Not just that, also there is tons of chocolate. There is dark chocolate, there is hazelnut tart, there are other inspirations of flavours too. I really liked the aesthetics of the dish. There was usage of lot of delicate ingredients like little flowers, little beads,etc And being the occasion of thanks giving there were cupcakes inspired from thankgiving and chocolates with thanksgiven written on it. The place was buzzing with people and was jam packed. I found the service a bit miss out. I placed an order for mocktail twice but then had to go by myself and wait at the bar till my drink was served. Coming to the food, I could spot turkey being the key critical part of the thanksgiving and whatever i heard from people was that it was perfectly cooked. Coming up next, there was salad and sushi bar. And there was everything that you could think of like watermelon feta, exotic decorated sushis, corn. In main course, they have limited options of starters. The only thing was cottage cheese and vegetable pattice. Then they had pasta, pizza, noodles. I liked the asian spread which was basically choosing your own curry, veggies and all. Overall had a good time.

Good place to dine at... Loved Sushi, kimchi & noodles. Ambience is good, space is good for friends family & dates. However options are very less... Only two types Fish...no prawns.. Indian food less variety. The desserts, cakes & sweets were very good... Staff very active and alert... Enjoy your Food.... (Single washroom at same floor. )

It was an "OK" experience at 55 east in Grand Hyatt. The food was very good sometimes and was below average. Also there was a lack of variety in the cuisines. I would really suggest the Hotel to may more attention to the restaurant add more variety into the cuisines. The overall experience of the hotel was also "ok" . Kindly do add more variety to the cuisines and also the dessert needed some attention again.

One of my best experiences in the property This was my second buffet at this restaurant, and it turned out to be great. Although I would say the western appetizers were limited ( when juxtaposed with similar-level buffets ), it did have plenty of North Indian choices. And varieties of sushis ( 6 ) and Lebanese mezze ( 6 ) along with 4 global cheese varieties and a plethora of chicken and vegetable salads. For the desserts part, over 15+ types incl halwa, fruit cuts, cake cuts, i.a., and as was the case last time, it leaves you spoilt for choices. All the ones I tried were delicious. At my druthers, I would pick the pork cuts as the best dish of the buffet. Initially, it took time to fetch the staff to bring forks as new dishes were brought in, but given the crowd, it was pretty expected, and overall, despite the restaurant being pretty crowded, there were no lapses in service. It's worth noting here that the restaurant is quite big and exclusively serves only the buffet ( and not a la carte ). Thanks to Mr. Vijay for being around and checking regularly ensuring that I was having the best of experiences. Also, it was so nice of the staff to have offered the fruits which I wanted to taste, which were not on the buffet. Not to forget the complimentary mocktail & dessert of my choice ( I took panna cotta ) offered to me by Mr. Vijay, and I really appreciate the same. Also, thanks to Mr. Dipak for the reservations and for providing other assistance.

Would like to mention that online reservation made at restaurant is eligible for 20% discount (at the time of writing this post). The restaurant is located at one level below lobby level. Nice ambiance, overlooking a grand courtyard. The menu is attractive with choice of soup, multi cuisine - Indian, Thai, Japanese, continental. Very elaborate menu and warm service at a price which is equally attractive. Dessert counter also desrves a mention, important to preserve appetite at end for the dessert. Recommended for visit with family and friends, even solo is good. If going solo focus on food.

Best views from here. Perhaps as an artifact of cinema alone the film falls short; yet, to me, an important measure of a film is how often I reflect on it as the years pass. I saw this movie close to its release and was of the age and ilk to appreciate the idea of seeking escape in non-traditional manners such as this. For me, however, what I think about all these years later is not the then popular trope of international backpacking, Thai islands, or the film's storyline generally, but specifically the appalling lengths to which seemingly rational individuals will go to maintain their status quo. Maybe the cinematography or plot structure don't hold up as well as some-but it all paints a picture supporting a powerful metaphor and important lesson. If I'm thinking about a movie twenty years on, it has value to me-and potentially to others who may gleen a similar underlying meaning from this narrative. I recommend watching it.

The restaurant is really lavish and offer variety in all aspects starting from breads to main course and the layout is really favourable. It will be busy at this period but staff makes sure that you get seated and get best service. Misil Pav is must try little different from what we get in Delhi. The food is mild and just a pinch of spice. Bhavini the server is efficient and staff like her matters a lot as one of the staff mishandled the cutlery and got fell over a guest and it could be a complaint but Bhavini took care of it professionally and rest is self explanatory. Being from hospitality industry these things matters to me a lot....coming soon Grand

Fifty Five East located in Grand Hyatt near Kalina; this places serves only buffets no Ala Carte are offered. We visited this place on 24th October 19 for a group dinner. Buffet has few options unlike a wide spread buffet. Focus is mainly on Main Course and Dessert which has lot of variety to choose from. Only two appetiser were kept in buffet, we check with server but they were unable to add few more appetiser. We required Stuffed Onion Kulcha in Indian bread which was simply superb and soft. Fifty Five East has an open bar enormous options to choose if you wish to drink. Overall we had a pleasant experience. Hotel needs to add few more options of appetiser in buffet!!!

The Indian cuisine specially the paneer tikka masala & green chicken were truly lip smacking & the saffron gulab jamun,apple pie & cheesecake in desserts were heavenly, Also there is ample of salads, cheeses & Chaats something one should definitely try, The ambiance of the place is pleasant and doesn't fail to putting one in a good mood to enjoy, The staff were really courteous & managed the crowd successfully as it was a busy night! They also have good varieties of food for breakfast & lunch! Its Definitely one of the place's one should try out if u want to spend some relaxing time with your friends, family or partner.

Service is slow, not as attentive but probably because not enough staff during busy hours. Food variety is great, but the flavors are not very punchy. Everything has a lot of oil. Finally , was very disappointed by lack of social distancing inside restaurant (tables are very close together). The buffet - no hand sanitizers at any tables or stations, and everyone is touching all serving spoons, etc., and no cleaning seen frequently of the serving spoons (that everyone is constantly touching). Other hotels have their staff serving everyone to keep things hygienic - this is a better way. Hope they improve their hygiene protocols/standards!

The Breakfast Buffet was delicious and had a scrumptious spread. The F&B team were prompt in their service and were courteous. A big shout out to the Kitchen Team was serving fresh meals. Thank you Chef Nishad for the warm hospitality.
