The Christmas brunch of 2021 was quite good. The spread was decent. Comparing to the Christmas brunches before the covid times, I would say that I missed the smoked salmon and NZ Mussels in the spread. The salads, soups, Grilled Sea Bass and Grilled Turkey were yum. Special mention to the Seafood Paella and Luncknowi biryani, both won our hearts. Starters and desserts were great. Grilled pork was chewy. Sushi was below average. Had fantastic eggnog here. Drinks were good.

Took a risk after horrible experience at marriot franchise at Goa twice Fingers crossed walked in westin A proper sophisticated warm welcome at the gate with amazing hospitality all over. The stewards were soo helpful and quick even being Sunday brunch. I don’t know why cant other marriot be so humble like Mumbai. There is no point of negative reviews here trust me. Just don’t expect your street style food while walking in loaded with masala and colour ,”it’s a good restaurant you have to respect their sophistication”. They called me twice to confirm too.. Started brunch with salad as I don’t know why I end up on protein and fiber side first You may skip However they had freshest prawns and lovely chicken and lamb salad if you are a foodie you should spoil yourself to one of best salads. Brunches must be having changing menu But soooo many options FroM chat to Asian Also sugarcane juice was there Along with some mocktails &juices They have everything. Even in brunch they don't miss to have presented their food well. With edible flowers. Tbh menu is so vast you can just have taste not eat all. Even chaat was good just tasted it not bland as people have criticised things. Kolkata kosha and sweets omg I am a fan of that However Bengali sweets chenna was not that proper kneaded Had shish tawook nice not too spiced not less Subtle flavour on palate is what u expect of a good restaurant. Chimichanga good stuffing and appropriate wrap of tortilla Shawarma Pita was authentic unlike pizza base used Authentic I can say with pita pockets Unlike what u find on street with cheese and stuff but my favourite still remains else where Bhori cutlet were subtle again. Tried paneer too good quality or many places it's not that great Had mahi Mussalam as it is supposed to be mussalam means full presented so well on bed of rice mild spicy with hint of saffron. Things look so pretty just feel like admiring them it was so difficult to cut their beautiful cakes. Cherry tart was star for me used currents blackberries and avocado all of premium quality is what you expect. Tarts were so perfectly baked crispy and proper filling of cream with fruits Fell in love with mango Burger bun was nice fresh soft never had such buns except of Jimmy’s but this bun was better. With mutton patty vegan okayish They had sushi’s which were great And presented again well. Dimsum Korean wings and so many variety Along with Kolkata biryani again subtle a 5 star food. Please whenever you go keep place for dessert 🤯

At dinner, it was pretty packed venue. Understaffed. Hospitality or table service was very very poor or absent. Quality of starters was ok, Chaat counter was ok. But actual Indian dining section was a great disappointment. Very very spicy meal. Even Breads were served so late. Seating was not comfortable. Service poor.

Pasta alla chittara: This dish had guitar string pasta( which is just like thicker spaghetti), with pesto sauce which had amazing taste! They also give complimentary bread with delicious sauce! Ambience: The ambience was just wow! The lighting was amazing. Customer service: The waiter was too well behaved.

The ambiance was impressive. The place had a warm feel to it. Yet the service was as dull. We ordered for Thai Curry and Rice,Dum Biryani and Mashed potatoes. The food was delicious. But the staff seemed disinterested to serve us. To the point that we had to wait for ten minutes to be served water. For dessert, we ordered warm dark chocolate cake mud cake, but it wasn't warm, nor was it dark chocolate, nor was it mud cake. It was merely a pastry taken out from the cold store and dumped on our table. We expect better service from fine dining places.

This place is one of my fav 5 star resturants in Mumbai, it's on the 18th floor and has this amazing view of Mumbai's unstoppable traffic, we often visit this place to celebrate life events, this time it was my husband's birthday, as soon as we entered the place, the lady at the restaurant reception guided us to our choosen dinner table, while my husband was busy browsing the buffet offerings, I requested the lady for cake to celebrate my husband's birthday, she was prompt but before we could conclude our conversation my husband was back so we had to stop to keep it a surprise but I wasn't sure if my message was conveyed well to her, we had our food.. I went for Thai curry, my husband for roasted chicken and our son for buffet, guess the little kiddo he can afford to gain some weight ? we had to maintain our diet, staff often made reasonable conversations with us, just before we could ask for our cheque to my surprise the staff and the manager got us a big cake, I was so impressed and thankful to them, here I would like to mention staff's name Sunil Rokaya and the manager whose name I have forgotten but he was recently transferred from Pune, made our evening so special and memorable, my next visit is for their lavish breakfast buffet, it's one of the best in the city

Amazing place to have a brunch/lunch We opted for buffet and menu was impressive. The quality of food was even better and we enjoyed a wide variety of dishes. Desert counter for example was full with cakes and pastries and ice-creams and Indian sweets. Huge space alles you to move freely and staff is very helpful and cooperative. Fantastic food and outstanding service. I had a very great experience there. I couldn't control myself from eating anything and everything at breakfast! Great spread with a great view as well. Love their salad bar with the choices of raw salads, ready to eat salads, fish , sushi or even salmon fillets. Taste of food is Very good. South Indian snacks like Medhu vada, Masala Dosa with chutney and Sambar are awesome. Coffee is too strong. Staff are working helpful and friendly too. Food qualities are also very best. The sunday brunches get busy, staff kind of takes their own sweet time to serve water or drinks.

I went to Seasonal Tastes for dinner buffet. The place was almost full at that hour. The spread of items was amazing. There was nothing that I ate and did not feel "yum". I couldn't try a lot of items since I was already full. The view from the 18th floor was amazing and thestaff was also courteous.

The spread is large... so many varieties... you just can't have enough.... be it the Indian counter, Asian, chat, dessert, salad, breads...Mexican, the seafood counter... the juice & drinks bar.... you'll have all of it... The taste is as expected from Seasonal Taste( Westin )... lives up to the standard. It's simply yummy. There was no dish that I tasted & did not think 'yum'. The staff are polite & friendly. The ambience is wow & from the 18th floor the view is nice... we really had an amazing time... and definitely would recommend this place.

Well the location doesnt cover up for the service and charges. The view is awesome but the service was not upto the mark , we opted for buffet and whenever looking out for dishes the platter was empty which should be taken care by the staff, by the time they get it you move on and it gets missed, it was a surprise birthday cake arranged by one of us and this is how they packed and gave the parcel - by putting it upside down 🙃. Orders placed at the live counter got delivered after the main course . Too slow for the service part.

Nice spread out place with good sitting arrangement. It was quite filled up even on weekday. Decent Vegetarian food with few varieties of cuisine. You have to order and wait for 10 min for item from live counters. So plan in advance for roti, sandwiches, chaats. They need to provide also some drinks along which was missing

Completely understaffed and no management at all , I have been multiple times but now it’s a big no ! Staff is changed and they are short of space and staff both I had booked for my birthday dinner along with friends firstly they took the booking even when they had no table , seemed like crunching space and sitting in a local restaurant somewhere! Then menu was so limited and as we sat down 100 times they are just mentioning buffet is closing, no concern about serving any food or even water on your table ! Waiters were too tired we understand you are over working but taking extra bookings is not the choice for this rather work less and nice with simple management skills ! Guests would rather appreciate that I suppose ! We could have gone somewhere else for our celebration if they mentioned they are full ! Literally ruined my evening !

Went for a buffet. Sanitization at the entrance and masks are necessary when serving yourself. The food was good. A decent spread of Indian and global cuisine. There was a live chaat corner, a safer option to satiate the urge for street food. There was a good variety of deserts at the end of the meal.

It's an average place, although located inside a 5 star hotel. Otherwise nothing worthy of the cost. Though the ambience is nice, does not reflect to the cost one pays. Also, delayed service.

Somehow felt that due to discount season or so the spread has reduced. they were serving chaat in starters and one paneer item only. Main course had two veggies and one daal. Steamed rice and peas pulao. is it really a 5 star menu for which you are charging around 2189 rupees? Not a great experience. while parking the car as well the guard refused and said no valet available whereas when tried near reception Valet was there. wondering how come the staff of Westin has become such misbehaving. what's the use of visiting such place. Staff forgot to serve roti as well to us. Food 4/5 variety 3/5 staff 3/5 quality4/5 price2/5 comparing the experience better avoid visiting here.

Good spread buffet choices. They even cool up special bland food once you tell them can't tolerate spicy vegetable curries. Service is top class, you get piping hot rotis served right on yr table. perfectly located on 18th floor with glass fronting all 3 sides to view traffic on high way, Aarey forest other side. Nice ambience, can relax and enjoy dinner

If you want a quick review : You may skip my review. (Time : 3-4 Mins). Worth every penny. I generally eat outside once a year. Breakfast was good and healthy. Nice spread. But one will have to be very careful (esp. elderly people) not to eat more and must have a control over themselves. The taste is so alluring you can't resist to wait at all. Westin along with other 5 stars such as Lalit, Marriot etc are the only places where you will get genuine Tamilnadu Idlys in mumbai. All other hotels @ Matunga can only use the term *authentic* having no clue about the vocabulary of the term. In my general consensus - if sumone uses the term autheentic it says by itself rest are not authentic. (Apparently the user is not either). @Westin you get - Genuinely true quality of food and food that are innately enjoyable by the natives of bharat. I won't talk about spread, Ambience etc. Because ambience must be at the core of substance.(ie food offered). At Westin you get the ambience of food at its own nativity. (There are always other google reviewers who can talk about external ambience factors such as mirror, seat arrangement etc - which incidentally has no connection to the maple sauce or the amounts of salt in dosa et all). So in a nutshell the real ambience (core food) is good. Idly is called real when the batter is fermented. @ Westin it is prepared in the same way. So hats off. True Quality. Chinese breakfast, Indian, English breakfast, veg and non veg. All live counters - Quality offerings ! One should go to Westin restaurant to *broaden their likeness boundary* and NOT to make use of *complementary breakfast.* With such a mindset Westin is a very good place to explore newer and healthier breakfast. Breakfast cost for 2 : 2800 Inc Tax. Additional Cost : For suchi, poached eggs etc. I am a vegetarian though.

In room dining-excellent service from Srinivas and Shraddha. In seasons taste, we always got super attention from Shraddha, Sharmistha, Gaurav, Prashant and most importantly chefs Regan, Dola, Prakash and Devendra. We always prefer to visit Westin and seasons taste.

It can get crowded on weekends especially during breakfast. You get a 180 degree view of the suburb of Mumbai. Minus one star because understaffed if very crowded and you can barely get any service during those times. Food-wise it is value for money and if you befriend the chef you can ask him to make dishes outside the menu.

Buffet here offers various dishes and you can enjoy them as you want.

I totally love this place. It’s on the 18th floor of The Westin Mumbai Garden City. The seating arrangement is well spread out. Buffet spread is huge. Desserts are delicious. The staff are extremely courteous and polite. And the service provided by them justifies the ranking of the hotel. We quite often go to this place because of its tasty food. I would highly recommend you to visit seasonal tastes.

Lovely food

I I was at this restaurant to have dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is huge and complemented by very helpful and friendly staff. Their dinner buffet is superb and very tempting but it only makes sense to go for buffet if you have a good appetite. We chose to order soup and pasta. We ordered a chicken clear soup and a tibetian thukpa soup along with penne pasta with chicken. We loved the Tibetan thukpa soup but the other one was not too hot. Even the pasta tasted very average. We also got dark chocolate pastry which was complimentary and the taste was out of the world. I strongly recommend the deserts in this restaurant.

This was my fifth visit to Seasonal Taste and was so disappointed the breakfast was not good it was long spread buffet but taste wise not at all good. Sausages were too salty kothimbir vadi was over fried and not good in taste bit oily Other than Idli Vada fruits and egg poha I don't remember what else I had ofcus there was fried rice fish sauce but who gonna get Asian food early in the morning Lastly the chai for which I was so excited coz they had this pretty counter for tea along with toast and khari but then again tea was Soo bad in taste had to leave it too much of tea powder made it taste only bitter and bad I was very unhappy with this type of food
