I recently dined at Nara Thai in Bangkok and was thoroughly impressed by the delightful culinary experience. The Tom Yum Soup was a symphony of flavors, with the perfect balance of tanginess and spiciness that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The Pad Thai was a scrumptious rendition of this classic dish, with well-cooked noodles and an exquisite medley of ingredients. The salad was a refreshing interlude, bursting with freshness and vibrant colors that showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. As for the Sticky Mango Rice, it was the ideal finale. The luscious sweetness of the ripe mango paired impeccably with the sticky rice, creating a dessert that was both comforting and indulgent. Beyond the exceptional food, the restaurant's ambiance was inviting, offering a blend of Thai elegance and modern aesthetics. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Nara Thai at Bangkok is undeniably a culinary gem that masterfully captures the essence of Thai cuisine. I left with a content heart and a desire to return for another delectable meal.

If you're in the mood for some delicious Thai food, Nara Thai is the place to go. This restaurant offers an extensive menu of authentic Thai dishes, expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere of Nara Thai is inviting and elegant, with a stylish and modern interior that's perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, ready to help you with anything you need. But the real star of the show at Nara Thai is the food. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from classic Pad Thai to spicy curries to delicious stir-fries. Each dish is expertly prepared, using only the freshest ingredients and traditional Thai cooking techniques. One standout dish at Nara Thai is the Tom Yum soup - a spicy and sour soup that's the perfect combination of bold flavors. The green curry is also a favorite, with a rich and creamy sauce that's bursting with flavor. Overall, if you're looking for some delicious Thai food in a stylish and inviting atmosphere, Nara Thai is the perfect choice. It's a true gem of a restaurant that's not to be missed.

Went with great expectations but Nara Thai disappointed me a bit. On the plus side , the ambience is good and they have a good choice of music though the volume could have been a bit lower. Interiors are clean and uncluttered . The Thai passion fruit cocktail had a lovely flavour . I would definitely recommend the shrimp cakes ( appetizer) . The spicy chicken salad was drowned in the sweet sauce which robbed the flavour of the other ingredients added to it. The bamee noodles with crab meat was flavourful since I added some of the chili sauce. For dessert, I enjoyed the fresh mango with chocolate and mango sorbet, though I felt the chocolate shell could have been thinner ( it was difficult to cut through it with a spoon) . The Thai tea panacotta is a must try. On the whole it was a good dining experience ☺️

Good place with delicious food. The dessert was the highlight of the entire set. The staff was good and courteous. The seating I felt was very uncomfortable as the sofa is too short and the table is too high so its not easy to enjoy the food. Overall the management needs to make some changes.

Excellent food, lovely ambience and very good service. The dishes are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the same location in BKC. They have both outdoor and indoor seating for outdoor seating make sure you make a prior reservation. Overall a lovely place which I think will be my regular go to place.

The restaurant needed a reservation though it did feel rich it was Themed with purple! you can chose what you want from the menu given from the reservation thanks to the Beautiful ambience it was lovely the waiter was migrated from north i don't remember where she did explain and was friendly Thanks to the food description and photo in the menu I had an idea what it is cause we can't pronounce the dish name If you like spicy food you have to ask which one of them is Spicer because they added coconut to side dishes we asked looks like it's their authentic ingredient so i wouldn't recommend those dishes Coconut ice cream was really different many varieties of topping corn sticky rice many more i loved with sticky rice!!! Very expensive but they deserve it!!! Overall expected spice in side dishes But it was different it looks like their authentic ingredients added to the side dish which makes it sweet

We were a party of 6 ppl and ordered drinks, appetizers, entree and dessert. For Jain food, I had two drinks - lemongrass iced tea and passion lychee lime mocktail. First appetizer we ordered was crispy betel leaf (Yum Phak Boong Krob) and they substituted original dip with another Jain chili dip for me. Second one was crispy lotus stem chips in sweet chili sauce (Rak Bua Tord). For entree, I had green curry (Kang Kiew Warn) and butterfly pea fried rice (there were also other options such as Pad Thai and Vegatable Stir fry). And for dessert, we had chocolate mousse with orange sorbet. Food was delicious and service was good, but ambience was okay. Due to Covid, we reserved a table with outdoor seating. They also did a temperature check when we arrived at the restaurant. Appetizers and curry were flavorful and tasty. Butterfly pea fried rice tasted like normal fried rice except the blue color. Mocktails were fresh and refreshing. We went with friends who already knew what was best here, so didn’t experiment with other options in the menu. I would definitely recommend this place and would visit again as well. #jainfriendlyoptionsavailable

Every course was a wow experience... not light on the pocket but not overly priced for the attention to detail and quality. If you think you know thai cuisine you would definitely appreciate the balance, flavors and textures in every dish and bite. The soup was oh so creamy, the prawns (vada for an Indian reference) so crisp , the som tam so fresh, the tofu absolutely silken and melt in your mouth, the john dory green curry and pea flower rice so well balanced, with melt in your mouth John dory and al dante rice... we ended with the panna cotta light, coconutty and dreamy masterfully paired with the thai tea. Absolutely lovely. Set the tone for a perfectly relaxed Sunday.

Good evening folks. After a good dining experience at Yauatcha, we had to try the food at Nara Thai in BKC. Not that exhilarating as Yauatcha, but nonetheless good food. As the name suggests, the cuisine is Thai. Tom Yum Chicken Soup was sweet and sour and spicy, less spicy though, unlike the regular Tom Yum soup which is very spicy and tangy. Chicken Satay as an appetiser ok ok, just a regular one. I make them at home and I’ll admit they were equally good if not better. Chicken in Sambal Sauce was better. More on the spicy side but not very spicy. It’s all red chillies here. The best tonight was the Nara Thai Eggs Fried Rice and lightly sautéed or steamed Prawns or Shrimps and Cashews on the side. Taste was good and was delicious without any gravy added to it. The decor is good of course. I particularly loved a unit on the far side of the dining hall with small urns or matkas inserted in it. The fans. A special mention of them going with the Thai decor and furniture. Mr. Kishore Bajaj, the owner of the 4 dining restaurants - Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Nara Thai and Cin Cin, has an eye for minute details and perfection. Get Well Soon, Sir!

A fine dining place- excellent food - both taste and quality, people taking orders are knowledgeable - adjustments and modifications are made according to the diner's taste. A must visit.

Taste of the food is not worth for the money I paid. I also waited for 30 min for each dish I ordered. Staff needs improvement in service.

Awesome service. Great food. Nara Thai currently has a Bangkok hours menu on drinks which gives you BoGO option. You must try the Thai Spritzer- a Gin cocktail that's loaded with alcohol and tastes amazing. Unfortunately the betel nut leaf appetizers weren't available but the lotus stem and the Thai omelet with seafood was very good. The piece de resistance was the beautiful butterfly pea fried rice. Try it with a Thai curry. It's awesome.

I don’t know what’s with this place, was sooo poor this time. Food was a disaster, service was rubbish, there were inside the restaurant. Staff (particularly lady who was inside the restaurant) was not interested, half of the things were unavailable! Overall bad choice

Starting with the Ambience.. the place is really really Good.. Nice cosy beautiful setup in the inside seating.. Outside Seating is in a open area which is also a good option to dine.. Coming to the Food.. totally totally loved the food.. If you like spicy food then this place is obviously not recommended.. but if you want a change from spicy food then just go for it.. Simply loved their spicy prawn pancake so different and so yumm.. Butterfly pea rice with thai herbs with the combo of chicken green curry is just amazing.. so yummy and fullfiling your taste buds.. Also order for Bambee crab noodles, simply loved it, chicken phad thai noodles was also amazing.. In dessert we ordered Chocolate crepe cake and chocolate Bounty, both are their speciality.. But Chocolate bounty is my personal favourite and the taste is just out of the world.. And last but not the least.. the hospitality of this place is really nice, they made sure we were comfortable and loved our food .. helped us with our food queries and cleared all our doubts too.. Simply loved this place will definitely visit again

Came here for the desserts and the PANNA COTTA SERVEDDDDDD. So good! So creamy and the Thai tea was super authentic and delicious. Not too sweet (best compliment for a dessert) and totally satisfying. The mango sticky rice was ok. Could’ve been more heavy on the mangoes and coconut cream. It’s a gloried rice dish, but with a few improvements it could be perfect!

Went for the first time in a group of 13, horrendously slow service. Ordered drinks which took 20 min to come after reminding the manager. Guys are asking for water, glasses are there but no water is being served. The guys look confused, wandering as if lost, what a painful place. Never again!!

had dinner at Nara Thai in Bangkok recently, and I was quite pleased with the delicious meal. With the ideal amount of tang and spice, the Tom Yum Soup was a culinary symphony that made my taste buds dance. The Pad Thai was a delicious take on this traditional meal, featuring perfectly cooked noodles and a delectable combination of flavors. The salad was a welcome diversion, full of color and freshness that demonstrated the restaurant's dedication to using only the best ingredients. The Sticky Mango Rice was the perfect way to end. A comfortable and decadent dish was produced by the perfect pairing of the sticky rice with the rich sweetness of the ripe mango.

Good Thai food. Loved the soups and curries. The mock meat krapkao was a little too salty, but I guess I haven't developed the taste for it? The blue butterfly pea rice was something new and wonderful!

Pathetic ambience and really bad low quality fitouts and furniture. Servers are all over you and very very pushy. Food is decent but even if you ask for non spicy food they give you spicy items. For the prices here, it's definitely not a good experience. Though the bartender made me a really great cocktail, the overall experience not worth it. Used to be a really good place but not anymore

A disappointing experience. We started on a high with exceptional Tom Yum soup, flavourful with that hint of tangy spice. Chicken Drunken noodles too hit the right note but that was it. The Sea Bass was too oily, Butterfly Peas Rice - only flavour we could get was that of oil. Same with Lamb in chilli Oyster sauce. All three dishes had so much oil and lacked flavour that we just couldn't finish the meal. Went by the good reviews, it was a complete waste of money. Not gonna visit again.

Food quality was good and quite fresh, but the desert stood out for me - one of the best & freshest things I've tasted - especially in Mumbai heat! The coconut custard and chocolate cake was to die for, fantastic experience

Visited Nara Thai after a while and the experience was satisfying. Each drink & dish was prepared well with great presentation and taste. The service was very efficient and staff is courteous. Except for the pain of calling the restaurant for the reservation, everything was perfect. I do recommend to improve the communication lines for reservation and wish they can answer it promptly. Sharing few pictures .

Beautiful Thai joint at the heart of BKC. Both the outdoor and indoor seating have beautiful decor. Loved the food here. Not too heavy, not too spicy...just the right amount of fresh, flavourful, light, subtle Thai flavours to tickle and pleasure your taste buds. Overall, great place to hang out with your friends, family or a loved one. Will go back again!

Definetly not a traditional Thai restaurant. We tried lotus root chips, stir fried water chestnut, rica crackers and shrimp cake for starters. All the dishes were with too much garlic and salty. Main dishes were slightly better. We were recommended a shrimp dish which was not on the menu along with butterfly pea fried rice. Sauce on shrimp was extra sour and rice was extra oily. Staff was friendly and service was fast but flavour wise there is nothing special. Definetly not going back nor recommeding anyone.

Probably the best food I have had in the last 2 years. This place deserves to be on top for its amazing ambience and food taste. Had Tom Kha soup with Chicken and Thai Iced Tea to start off with. Ordered Thai Yellow Curry with Chicken and Butterfly Pea Rice (suggested by the waitress). I had never had Butterfly Pea Rice but she insisted I order that and it was the best feeling in the world to be having something with such amazing taste. Thank you Nara Thai !!

I have been going to Nara Thai for years .Have visited Nara a couple of times after the restaurant reopened(during Covid). You get the reservation easily but the the number of reminders the restaurant sends and the calls they make is just too frustrating . For one reservation I received 8 reminders and 3 calls in just one and a half day . On the day of the reservation as we entered the restaurant the first thing we were told by the attendant was that the last order will be at 9pm even before we could really settle. During this 45mins of taking orders we were constantly told the same thing over and over again .The staff could barely manage and take orders. The attendant taking our orders was too pre occupied and looked hassled as if he just wanted to complete the task. We asked for some cocktails with less ice than usual , to our surprise we got a glass of cocktail full of ice . I had to remove 12 Ice cubes. On confronting I was told this was less ice in a glass (strange) and then the attendant rushed to the other table without even picking up the plate full of ice melting on the table .Food order was also taken in a rush.At 09:03pm Diet Coke was denied saying the bar was shut . I want to know if the concept of Nara is to just throw food at people between 08:45 to 9pm then why do you call it fine dining . I hope the owners understand that people take trouble to come and enjoy the food and the ambience. If you guys have time constraints then kindly change your slots .The slot at 8pm is just a make do slot which doesn’t give you time to either order or to eat . In a big group it’s more difficult . How can you refuse for soft drinks at 9pm when people are still eating and they have time till 10pm . At 09:45 your staff starts rushing people out . At 10pm they go berserk coz they cannot manage . It a genuine suggestion to change your last slot from 8pm to 07:30pm to 09:30pm so that your staff gets a breather and people enjoy their time . Please retain the concept of giving people a good time not a hard time . Iam surely not going to Nara as you guys are totally too stuck up in accommodating requests . Food is the only saviour but many places provide good food . If one can pay they can find many places . A complete put off .
