Last week, we visited the Current Affairs, restaurant in Vikhroli, Mumbai. The restaurant is good for casual dining, and serves a variety of American and European cuisine. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The service was also friendly and efficient. The ambiance of the restaurant is casual and comfortable✅ Here, we tried chicken wings, paneer and dal makhani meals, pizza, and their mocktails. Everything was nice in taste, perfectly cooked, and also good in presentation as well. Their mocktails were also very nice, I personally loved them🥂 Overall, it is a great option for a casual meal with friends or family. #HappyDining🌈

Current affair is the rising star on the Vikhroli Parksite-Powai Link Road. It is located on the first floor above Pop Tate’s and is an ideal place for fine dining in the area. They have ample valet car parking. 🚗 Live music of your choice is played in a very romantic environment to make your stay memorable.🎸 We tried: ♦️Strawberry Mint Sparkle: Fresh mint & strawberry juices were mixed with lemonade. It was a perfect drink. ♦️The Trend: 🥕 Carrot, apple juices were mixed with ginger and lemon. It was amazingly refreshing. ♦️Buffalo Chicken Pizza: Grilled chicken pieces were served on the thin crust pizza base with onion, parsley and lot of cheese. It was cheesy, chewy, moist, slightly acid and sharp. ♦️Alfredo Pasta: Classic Creamy pasta was tossed in a rich alfredo sauce with chicken. The pasta was golden, creamy thick and silky. ♦️Slow Cooked Roast Chicken: Full Chicken leg was cooked to perfection keeping it extremely soft, pinkish, translucent and fleshy. We loved it. ♦️Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken: It was a combo meal with rice and malabari parathas. It was filling. Dal makhani was creamy and the spices were screaming out. Boneless chicken chunks were simmered in spicy aromatic buttery and creamy gravy. It was lip smacking. Overall it was a great combination with paratha and rice. We were greeted by Mr. Sudarshan/ Mr. Pawaskar & served by Mr. Govind. Overall, the staff is polite, courteous and the services are quick. The food served is of top quality, fresh and delicious. A good place to be in with your family and friends.⛳️

Best PARTY PLACE in VIKHROLI… This is from the same company as that of POPTATES n is above POPTATES.… The ambiance is FINE DINE types with amazing MUSIC n DRINKS… WHAT TO ORDER… CHITTY CHAT - Blue berry mint n Soda based MOCKTAIL… HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOMATO N RED PEPPER SOUP: One of the best Fusion soups… Its more like an Italian dish closer to the ARRABIATA kinda taste…. Loved it!! CHICKEN CHILLI: Another decent dish with good quality chicken tossed with bell peppers n chillies.. Definitely try this…

A pretty chill place for friends and family to hang out with a few drinks. The happy hours have 1+1 like most restaurants. Best time to visit would be after 6pm in the evening as they have amazing music and a very lively vibe. The food is good. If you're lucky there are complimentary drinks (shots) for the women on the table which was a cherry on the cake🔥. All in all a good experience. Timbuctoo is located right on top of Pop Tates and the entry is through the Pop Tates premise.

A fantastic place to catch up with friends not only because it’s fashioned like a sports bar but the offers on drinks are Mindblowing. They have 1+1 offers on major brands till 10 pm and limited options after 10 am. The prices are also quite budgeted. Thus I have decided it to be my watering hole in days to come The only drawback is for folks with mobility challenges as the access is through a very steep staircase. The food options are worth mentioning too especially on the non veg options wherein the chef has made a fusion between the two. Valet parking available and there are lot of options to park on the roadside too. Good place highly recommend from my side

I have visited here 4-5 times for lunch and dinner . Best place to hangout with your buddies My favourite one is cheese potato 🥔 bites . We tried chicken lemon , fired rice , pizza , virgin mojitos. We tried fried chicken 🍗 also .

It's located in a prime location near powai and also close to vikroli station. This place is like a pub but it's not a pub actually. When you enter the ground floor seems quite and seems not a good place but when you go on the first floor the sound is too much with people shouting. Only thing I didn't like is the place is too noisy and you won't be able to hear what your friends are saying. Food is awesome and the rates are quite cheap. I had this fruit punch there the rate was 150 but when you go to a normal Restaurent Or pub u will get the same fruit punch for 350-400rs. Rest of the food is also tasty and pricing is also good. Not so high and not so low. Ny friends who smoke didn't like the smoking zone as it's quite small fitted into the corner. That's it food place after all. Must visit when ur in mumbai

Current Affairs is a casual dining lounge that serves Chinese, North Indian and Italian cuisine along with Kebabs, Fast Food and Biryani. Located above Poptates, Powai Link Road, Vikhroli. Crowd at here is very good. The Vibes here are amazing, Live Screening is very good. Food here is awesome, we had Chicken Peri Peri Pizza, Africano Chicken, Chicken Pops and Chicken Makhani Bowl with Signature Drinks and Cheesecake. Overall all the items we ordered were nicely made and presented. The ambience here is very chilling and exciting.

3rd class service local bars are much better

Lively, crowded, reasonably priced and fantastic service. Definitely a great place to go with friends and family. One thing that impressed me was that there was a janitor permanently stationed at the washrooms to clean them after every visit! I sincerely believe that the easiest way to know how well a business is run is to visit the loo.... And these loos were PERFECT! Heartily recommended.

Bad food, do not order lobster sizzlers. Or any sea food.

Good experience with friends. India match was going on. With multiple screens everyone was enjoying. A special mention about the food. Ordered chilli chicken, cheese chilli toast and meat loaded pizza. Over the top taste. Will visit again for the food.

It was good place to celebrate with friends. Music is too loud, it's ok when you want to enjoy. 1 - food quality is good. 2 - happy hours offer is too good. My friend saved money. 3 - ambience was ok.

The service here is very good and quick. They have amazing offers during happy hours. They also have a separate smoking room on first floor. There's no dance floor here but the DJ was playing nice songs throughout. All in all, amazing place for chill Saturday evening.

Great food, great music but highly disappointing staff and service. Very slow service. We had to ask them for every dish we ordered more than twice. We had gone to celebrate a farewell on a weekday. Most tables were empty, and since the music was good, we danced around a bit near our table only without inconveniencing anyone around us. Another big office group arrived, and we were told the manager of that office group was there with them so we can't dance now (didn't understand the logic). They were only focusing on that big group. After some time that group started dancing and they were allowed to do so, when we asked why this partiality, they said that their manager had left so they were free to dance. After some time a guy from that group came to us and asked us for permission for their team to dance around. We said we were perfectly fine with them dancing, we were just not okay with the partiality wherein we were asked not to dance. That guy said that the manager of the pub told them that we had asked them to stop dancing (we had not). Both groups confronted the manager so he gave in and let us all dance. But then reduced the volume to deter us from doing so. Later he says that after 11 pm in the night they can't play loud music as there is an office upstairs which starts around that time and they are not allowed to play music after that. After we got the bill, we saw that they had added service charge to it. We asked them to remove the service charge as it was optional and we were not happy with the service. They removed it politely, however they asked us for our details like our name, phone number and office location as they had to show it to their manager that we had requested them to remove the service charge and that they had not removed it of their own accord. Even though the food and music were great, not visiting this place ever again solely because of their random rules and super slow service.

Good place to hangout with friends and colleagues. Typical choice of beers with good food and happy hours. Do try Slow cooked lemon chicken and Greek chicken supreme.

Good ambience , lot of vibes, lot to drink and less to eat. The service was food. There are lot of varieties to drink. The food options where limited. Happy hours is available. The whole vibe is soo awesome. A good spot to spend your weekend night. The music was too awesome. The pizza here is a must try one.

Best place to hang out with friends... Inexpensive especially. Music is very loud which I actually didn't like as you've to shout to call the waiter and when you speak within yourselves. Otherwise a good spot. Ambience, atmosphere is perfect.

It is situated in Vikroli and operates with Pop Tates also shares the same building. It's a very lively place especially on weekends. Music is played very loudly here, so its not a great place if you want to groove (there is no dance floor though) but not apt for any conversation. Food is great and you can have a mild meal at 300 rs per head approx. Bathrooms are well kept.
