It’s authentic Chinese food ! The taste is nice , ambiance is okay . The triple sezwan has good quantity . Also one should order Paneer chilly instead of other paneer starters . They also have bar so it’s good for the ones who drink alcohol. Lol , I liked the LED lights in the washroom😅!

Loved this place. We had Guangzhou Chicken (Chef's Special) with Bejing Noddles. The taste was good, at first we were nervous that the Guangzhou Chicken will be spicy but no it was just perfect and complimented well with the Noodles. I personally suggest to try their Burnt Garlic Pot Rice/Noodles. The Ambience is old good nothing fancy, just a calm place to have good food.

Visited after a year and had a ton of dishes ordered for by my friends so not sure of all the names. Overall the quality of all was strictly ok, with nothing outstanding as such. Too much bicarbonate soda added to what we ate was omnipresent. Not really pleased is all I can say.

The place has no ambience to speak about. The interiors are old and jaded. The cocktails are tasteless. However, the food is good

Forever my favourite.. the chilli garlic pot noodles is my fav. Infused with butter and garlic flavour. Muu fan rice is worth trying. Golden fried prawns, chilli mushroom with tofu (extra added), pattaya chicken, aromatic honey smoke chicken and mei foo are worth trying dishes. must have. Must visit restaurant

Nice food. Average ambience. We had only veg meals. The spinach soup was not good. The spring rolls tasted nice. The main course veg dish was okayish ( forgot the name). Also, while they are listed on eazydiner, they do not accept bookings or payments through the app. Bit of a let down actually.

This review is long overdue, by about 20 years if not more! That's how long the family and I have been patrons of both the Prabhadevi and Powai outlets. Want a snack - order the honey chilli potatoes or steamed momos. Have a sore throat? Sip on the lemon coriander soup. Not too hungry? Get the garlic pot noodles. Don't know what to order? Go to the default Sapo Chicken and Fortune Rice. We pretty much remember the menu by heart, coz we order in a lot frequently than we would like to admit. So what's great about China Valley? China Valley's USP is the 'Desi Chinese' we all love. The portions are generous and the food hits that sweet spot - partly on the palate, partly on the nostalgia. It's not without various shortcomings. Does China Valley have the best food - No, great service - debatable, upscale/modern ambience - not at all. But, it does have consistency. Amongst all the fancy and gimmicky shenanigans of new age restaurants, China Valley has carved a niche for itself.

I have been visiting this restaurant since 2008 and have always loved there Chinese dishes. Unfortunately Yesterday was a big disappointment. Golden prawns We ordered didn't have any salt. All the other dishes at the best were average. Very limited dessert options. All in all it was a waste of money & mood for US Yesterday. If You are charging like a high end restaurant match Your taste to Your price please.

How this place has 4+ stars is beyond me, I read a lot of reviews before going here and there were loads of 1 star reviews which I chose to ignore because I love the china valley at Prabhadevi. The food was really disappointing and it's priced exorbitantly for a place like this. Please think twice before going here! We stepped out mid meal and went to House of Mandarin which is a really nice place and serves authentic Asian food.

The food wasn't worth the price ... The service was TERRIBLE absolutely horrible the guys who take order barley came was very difficult to grab their attention... The food took way too long even after ordering everything in advance ... The food was really not worth paying so much for... I've been there before a few times things were great .. don't know why it was so bad today ... There wasn't even much rush .... Only gave 2 stars because of the past experience..... Today I felt like they were doing some favour... The service was too bad I think the guys who wait the tables have changed the previous guys were very warm and genuine... These guys are absolutely not... Especially not attentive forget kindness

If you looking for some good Chinese cuisine, this is a place. Went there recently, once again, and as usual was not disappointed. The host was very good. We asked him for some spicy food, he recommended Chicken Pattaya for appetizer and it was delicious. The main course, Chicken Hakka Noodles along with Red Chilly Chicken was also good. The ambience of the restaurant is also decent and it's located at good location in Powai.

Hongkong chicken fried rice... Hmmm.. nice portion of rice with adequate chicken and omlette. Taste was superb Guangzhou chicken..Hmmmm red sauce gravy with goof portion of chicken. Taste a bit like a barbecue. Was yummy when eaten with rice.. Overall A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE CHINESE FOOD, MUST RECOMMEND.

The only thing which I did not like about this place is the location. But the food and the service and everything is just awesome. We ordered a haka soup and it was really tasty, then for the starters we ordered hot dragon paneer which was perfect in quantity and in taste, paneer was soft inside and crispy outside, for the main course we ordered hot pot rice and it was lip smacking. The place is a bit costly but completely worth the money. Also the suggestion given by the manager is really nice The restaurant was well decorated

Decent food, portion size is good. One rice or noodles is more than good enough for 2 people. Regular menu. Spaced out tables. Bar available too. We were a group of 7 adults & 4 kids. Bill total with just 1 round of light drinks including alcopops, cocktails & beer. 3 vegetarians & rest mostly chicken & prawn eaters. We dived directly into main course & hence the bill was only 6K.

Can avail corporate discount on bill amount. 8. Parking space. Cons: 1. Seemed a little conjusted. 2. A bit overpriced. 3. Some food items are not up to the mark. Overall a great place and worth visit.

I feel after any meal, if one does not feel heavy or uncomfy, it deserves full marks. China Valley is one such restaurant..... Been coming here over 15 yrs, and they have been consistent in terms of good food, easy ambience and happy service. Bonus.. Not too pricy!!! Love everything here... From Dimsums, Pot Rice to Noodles, but special mention for their Butter Garlic Prawns, Seafood Soup and Bacon Wraped Prawns. Simply Awesome 👌👌👌

Being a vegetarian I was suggested Ginger Pepper Mushroom by the staff and I absolutely loved it. My peers tried Butter Garlic Prawns & Pork Dumplings. Butter Garlic Prawns were creamy & buttery with a strong kick of Garlic. Pork Dumplings were succulent, filled with a good portion of the meat. We finished off with Honey noodles & Icecream which were perfectly crunchy, coated with honey & topped with Vanilla Icecream.

China valley is a nice family restaurant cum bar, ambience is good, service is prompt. I ordered Pork Ribs roasted in lal mirch sauce, and hot pot chicken noodles and LIIT cocktail. The pork ribs tasted heavenly, anyone who loves pork should give it a dry. But, hotpot chicken noodles was kinda bland in taste, portion is good but the taste felt so bland that we had to share. Cocktail was okayish could be better. Good for a Friday night dinner with some liquor. Also, they have a bar named Knotty yard just beside this place, which is good bit pricey. But, on Friday and Saturday stag entries are not allowed, got to know that hard way.

Ambiance is good. They have a wide variety of meat and seafood options. The cost for two is around 1500, but you can get some offers. Pork rib is a must try. Crab meat soup and mixed seafood soup are great. I didn't like the squid dish. Pot rice is good.

I had an amazing dining experience at China Valley Restaurant in Mumbai! The ambiance was charming, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delightful. From the perfectly cooked dumplings to the flavorful stir-fries, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes that catered to both adventurous and traditional palates. I highly recommend China Valley for anyone looking to indulge in a memorable dining adventure that combines excellent service with mouthwatering flavors. Can't wait to visit again!

Pros :- Great Ambiance Great staff Cons :- A tad bit expensive but that's ti be expected of a resturant in Powai The food didn't taste very good. I heard they use olive oil. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but if you like olive oil, then go ahead and come to the restaurant. You will love it

The restaurant is situated at a central location. Their staff are helpful and friendly. Coming to the food, the prices do meet the wholesome quantity of food and taste wise it was delicious and the cooks took care of our spice tolerance. Although, they brought an incorrect dish for our main course but we complained about it and they had changed it immediately. The service was a bit slow as it took adequate amount of time for the food to reach our table.

The food is ok, we ordered oyster chicken and pineapple prawns. The later was bit sweet.. And the chicken was good. But the thw really problem was their veryy slooowww service.
