To my surprise right from the chef and the staff knew it was our special date. Chef Sunil took care of our meals while Exec Sous Chef Alok Verma overlooked the entire prep. Coupled with live Gazal, we had the most memorable anniversary. They added a surprise cake for us too 😊 It was like they were reading our minds for the meals! Luxury meets your taste buds at Saffron. Saffron is the best Indian Restaurant I have eaten in the entire world and top 3 of my all time favourite restaurants, next to 3 star Michelin Restaurants. Just reopened and worth a trip on its own. Special Thanks to Peter (Restaurant Manager) who actually arranged for a special evening for my management team and I, the day before the grand re-opening. That was extraordinary and shows the care for the customer.

Excellent food. I was heading there before my late flight out of Mumbai. Juhu beach offers a nice walk, and then dinner at Saffron. Can't be a better finish of a long business trip.

Yesterday was my 25th birthday and my family threw me dinner party at saffaron restaurant..l felt it was my worst birthday ever as the food was not satisfactory in terms of taste and almost every item was served twice.. don't even want to talk about the cake cutting ceremony no songs no decoration at all didn't even felt like my birthday over all it could be better but they didn't even tried to...I would appreciate the service, the environment was good, drinks were ok..we spent 17k for 7 people not a single person was happy with the food..very disappointing..I would not recommend this restaurant to my knowns..😔😔

As always, consistently perfect They have been constantly working on the interiors and lighting to make it a soothing, comfortable experience. The warm reception by the staff is very welcoming, and pleasant Usually the manager personally greets and tries to attend if any special occasion The food, especially North Indian always has the same authentic smell of spices, Do specify particularly All ingredients while ordering Jain food. It's better to order some instant munching cos main course takes too much time in preparation They serve veg, non veg & Jain

We had Excellent experience of this yet young restaurant. Fusion mixes of traditional food was very well done to lend good taste. Although portions are smaller but they appeal to the taste buds. Himachali origin food served with enthusiasm and neatness. Well appreciated. More veg options desired. Chenna Rabdi was another well balanced sweet with a dash of rose petals and saffron.

Excellent anbience, service and delicious Indian fare. If you are hosting to impress someone, this is the place. Portions are small. Prices are above average.

Worst food ever had you can have under the name of Marriot. A local restaurant's food tastes much better.Over use of spices and too much of ghee in dal makhni.Higly disappointed

The starters including Dahi kebabs, lotus root shammi and makmahli broccoli are stand outs! The signature dal makhani and chole are a must try. Courteous and prompt service with an ambience of live sitar player make the overall experience so enjoyable!

Vast restaurant huge variety grand entrance great seating everything about it is just superb. But now you might wonder why I gave just 3 stars and that's because of the staff attitude. Everything is great except staff attitude they are rude blunt and only seem welcoming to foreigners. Overall I was disappointing experience.

It's was very high standard place....they have very High quality of food services also have verity of foods. the food test was very testy..😋😋It's a just heaven on earth experience, Hospitality and such a marvelous place to get yourself accomodate.. Great Hotel and Great Staff in every area. The team in executive lounge & team in breakfast area in lobby both surpassed any expectations. This hotel may now be my favorite property world-wide. We went for a fabulous dinner during Diwali at Saffron. Amazing food and service. Would come back any time and recommend to friends and family! Definitely take the chefs recommendation on what to have for dinner. Our food was both super delicious and so nicely presented. We also had an amazing non-alcoholic drink, so good. Thank you!!

I booked the restaurant through zomato about a week before 20th july. He cam all the way from surat to mumbai to just have a good dinner experience with marriott. When we reached there,they informed us that the saffron restaurant is closed due to a private party there. That day was my fathers birthday and i wanted to surprise them. There was no one to assist in the restaurant. My father’s birthday got ruined because of them. They said that the did not get any conformation from zomato but mind you it was not my first time dining at marriott. I have reserved and dined with other properties of marriott through zomato before also. They had the audacity to say that we do not have any reservation you cannot sit here it is a private party,we cannot serve you food. I am highly disappointed. Thank you marriott for such a wonderful experience on my dad’s birthday

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to in a long time. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Service was great and we didn't have to wait long for food even though we were a large group. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes!

We had our departmental party here with my colleagues. Food was really good. We ordered lamb steak for starter it was crispy from outside and soft from inside. We tried different whisky cocktail- Mint Julep, old fashioned and whiskey sour. All the 3 were mind-blowing. I liked Old fashioned amongst them all (contains some spices and whiskey). For desert, we tried kalhua, amarula and sambuka (sweet alcoholic beverages). I liked kalhua amongst all of them. Out Waiter Ritvik was also very friendly and humble. It's was a great evening.

Visited on 29th Jan 23 dinner @8:30pm. Food has detiorated over time. The revamped restaurant has made it very cramped, with extra tables placed in a way where you can eat from your neighbors plate on next table!! Very bright lights for a fine dining restaurant. Service is really bad now. 1) We requested a corner table to celebrate a birthday (confirmed upon booking). It was available when we reached, but they refused to give it to us. Best part was, the table remained empty for the next 1hr 45mins till 9:15pm. They kept saying it was reserved! "ALL LIES" Felt really bad. 2) Once we finished dinner, the table remained soiled even when the bill was given to us. Did not feel as we were in a 5 star paying premium price for dinner. 3) The restaurant manager "Desai" did not even bother to apologise or clear our complaint, which we raised with the waiters who informed him. "NOT BOTHERED AT ALL" "Saffron we are definitely never ever going to visit you again"

Amazing food and Hospitality. Sumit, Kuldeep and Abhay made our evening so special as we celebrated birthday of a family member. They arranged for a cute birthday cake too which came as a pleasant surprise! 🎂🎈

Very poor service and wasn’t impressed with the food. All the meals were cold by the time they arrived at our table. Rotis became hard and chewy. The only consolation was dessert which was good. I was expecting quality service and delicious food.

One of the best nalli nihari you can have in Mumbai. Modern way of cooking with authentic, traditional recipe 🤤🤤🤤 Chef Chandan made our dining experience the best by making one of the tastiest rasmalai with modern touch for us. Definately worth trying👍👍👍

Excellent restaurant !!! Really enjoyed the food by Chef Ajay, especially peeli machhi and Sunday mutton curry. Dessert Gold Gulabjamun with anjeer was perfect. We were taken good care by Sachin and Jon Bosco. Only suggestion would be to add few more desserts in the menu. Regards Dr. Samir Bagadia

I had a great time st saffron the staff were fantastic not only that but vinay really went out of his way to make it so special! Dattatraya was great by really informing me about the menu Via email.
