Shree ghaneswar hanuman temple full of bells is located in Khar(W) area of Mumbai. Its located on the roadside adjacent to madhu Park in Khar.this very old and small temple. The temple has got its name Ghanteshwar since it is full of bells which people have donated after their wishes have come true. Its a belief that if you ask you something at this temple, and your wish gets fulfilled, one should donate a bell.you can see huge crowds during Tuesday’s and Saturday’s all throughout the day. It would take atleast an 45 minutes to around about an hour during there two days in the queue. On Tuesday’s and Saturday’s, one can offer garlands, mustard oil and coconuts to the idol. All of these, you can purchase from the temple itself. While during the rest of the days in the week, the temple is quite less crowded. Its even more crowded during Hanuman Jayanti. You can find parking near about the lanes besides the temple only. Timings of the temple: 6.00 am to 2.00 pm 5.30 pm to 11.00 pm.

A sentimental and emotional quotient attached to this place which I have been seeing since childhood. The number of bells here signify the gratitude of devotees who have had their wish fulfilled and in turn have offered a bell. Do visit to see this in person. Wish we had smart phones then to capture the image of the temple when the number of bells weren't as they are today.

I have visited this temple every time i been to my. It is very close to khar west railway station. It is believed that if u wish for any thing pray here by heart your wish will come true. People gift bells here where their wish come true. Thats why you can see lots of small and big bells here. Because of bells only this is called ghanteshwar hanuman mandir

Nice, peaceful, serene and calm place of worship. The name ghanteshwar due to the bells offered by worshippers. The place is just 5 mins from sv road. Easily accessible.

It was my first visit to the Shree Ghanteshwar Hanuman Mandir at Madhu Park, Khar. I am blessed to have been there. The temple is quite unique with loads of Bells (Ghanta) all around. Splendid. Thoroughly enjoyed the time. It is said, When wish is fulfilled, people return to the temple and offer Hanuman Ji a bell (thus “Ghanteshwar” which literally means Lord of bells). Would recommend a visit. Jai Hanuman. 🙏🏼😊

If you wish to offer your prayers to Lord Hanuman and Shani Dev they you may visit this unique temple called Ghanteshwar temple as devotees offer a Ghant ( bell) once their wish is/are fulfilled. Gives lots of peace and calmness.

Street side simple Hanuman ji temple. Gives a very special feeling and has a huge following especially on Tuesday and Saturday. It has 100's of bells hanging overhead. Other than flower garland and oil offerings many devotees offer a tiny bell upon completion of an event or some pledge taken.

Some 30 year's back it was a small temple ,but after some time it acquired a reputation that after fulfilliment of a person desire a person should offer a bell to the temple has a result thier are innumerable bells tied on the temple pillar

Nice temple. You tie a bell here to fulfill your wishes, but that's not mandatory. You can just visit the temple and pray

A historic temple where many people have visited and still visit (including many celebrities). People ask for a wish and once their wish is fulfilled, they tie a bell here as a offering as the name of the temple suggests. Jai Bajrangbali Ji Ki 🙏

A beautiful place with lot of peace and lots of bells around😍 Must visit at least once when you land nearby Khar or Santacruz😌 Jai Bajrangbali🙏🏻💐 Jai Balaji🙏🏻🍁

As the name suggests, it's derived from the various bells that are offered by the devotees on completion of their "demand" as thanks. Temples of India are driven by the "icchapoorti" statistics and this too has many a folklore about it. Great place for the true devotee's as overall it's still not sullied by the show & glamour

Nice. must visit for this temple For Your incomplete wish. When your wish complete then give the Hanging bell as par your budget.it not necessary to give big size hanging Bell. (Extra small , Small ,midium, large) hanging bell give to the Hanuman ji.Then temple can hang your hanging bell inside the temple because so many people hang there hanging Bell inside the temple after wish complete.

Nice experience, but they need to stop devotees coming in car and parking in front of the temple and taking blessing. It affects the traffic.

The staff behaviour is very dirty. If this wasn't a religious place he'd be gone by the hands of people. Appeal to the trustee: the specs guy behaviour is like we come to his house to beg, please kick such adharmis out. May lord Hanuman teach him a lesson, a deep prayer from my heart

This is a very peaceful place and full of positive vibes 🙏🏻. But the line for the darshan should have been more organised or appropriate provisions should have been made for the devotees as the garden also comes in between.

Went on Saturday, there was a queue but not that long. It's a wish granting Hanumanji Temple. People offer ghantas/bells here when their wishes are fulfilled. The number of bells in the sanctum dictate that one shall definitely ask for something here. Besides temple is really lovely. It made me remember Hanumanji Temple CP, Delhi.

Hello, there should be lot of more improvement in the rooms, like no proper soap rack in the bathroom, n just one light. In the room 2 chairs should be provided if it's double bed room.

Ghanteshwar Mandir is situated in Khar and as per history the temple is 50 years old and any wishes made their get fulfilled. As a sign of gratitude devotees donate bells. it is very easy for people on wheelchair to visit this place because it is on the ground level and it stands admist the main road and there are by lanes all around it. one can park the car around in the area and come by the wheelchair for Darshan to this beautiful looking 50 years old Hanuman Temple full of bells. If there are some old people just with a walking stick can be dropped at the front of the Mandir and be picked up in the same manner after the Darshan. Saturdays and Tuesdays the Temple is very very crowded so people on wheelchair and older people should avoid going on that day.
