Our Lady of Egypt Parish Kalina also known as OLEP Kalina in short is a beautiful place of worship with a 400+ years of past history which has come a long way to this current day. A vibrant parish with an enthusiastic youth group who under the guidance of the priests have started making a series based on Proverbs 6:16 “U Turn - A New Turn”.

Beautiful church in kalina. It reminds one of old churches in Goa. It's located near Air India colony. There is parking available for a few cars on the rear entrance of the church or one has to park outside. Very well maintained. Decor inside is beautiful.

This is a 400+ year old church. Once upon a time a beautiful mango orchard surrounded it. Each mango fruit said to weigh 1kg. On one side of the orchard was a fresh water tank where the legendary ornithologist Dr. Salim Ali used to frequent to observe and study birds. The tank was full of fishes & pink lilies. Sadly nothing of this landscape exists today.

Our Lady of Egypt Church, commonly called the Kalina Church, this is a heritage Church about more than 400 years in existance, the Church has three wings, the faithfull come for visits and prayers, people have started visiting the Church following all safety protocols with mask and social distane keeping.

Timings of 2023 holy week - Palm Sunday (2nd April) - 8 am - Blessing of Palms on Church ground, followed by procession to Church, for Holy Eucharist at 8.15 am Maundy Thursday (6th April) - 6 pm - Service for the Sick & Elderly 8 pm - Service for all Good Friday (7th April) - 5.30 pm - Service for the Sick & Elderly 7.30 pm - Service for all Easter Sunday (9th April) - 7 am, 8.15 am, 9.30 am & 11 am. (All Masses in English)

Very good & also school is also there in it. I remember i have attended my friends brother wedding in schools hall also. Locality is perfect & the church is near to a road & infront of that garden type space is there where you can go to chill, relax & play. Sorry no photo available.
