It’s amazing experience 🌳. So much green ☘️🍀& serene 🍃🌱. Beautiful city view from hills , mesmerising , lush green , many small & big waterfalls 🌊. It is completely natural place protected by forest 🌳 department. It’s not allowed 🚫 for the common public to go there specially in monsoon . Casualties do happen here . We generally go there with regular visitors of this place who are acquainted with each & every part of forest 🌳 . One can go there with all precautions & with someone to guide . Else not recommended . But it’s worth going & to see untouched beauty of nature . Be ready to grab a crab 🦀 where you sit to relax or a spider 🕷 or may be lizard 🦎 when you walk deep inside a jungle 🌳🐉. Enjoy whining & buzzing of bees 🐝 flies 🪰 & mosquitoes 🦟🌝🌞🌝 Forgot to mention beautiful flowers 🌸🌺🌻🌷🌹all around .

Perfect for a weekend getaway, in the heart of the city hardly 1.3 hrs walk to reach this place and the view is worth the walk and the experience is refreshing.

My first tip to everyone who is planning a trip here, please don't waste your precious time, and money, its totally not worth it. For starters, it is expensive to enter, especially if you are going in with a vehicle(which ofcourse you may need, else it's a long walk to nowhere), so it's ₹190 for vehicle entry(forest entry fees "apparently") and ₹60 odd (per person). So as a family of 4 + vehicle we ended up paying ₹430 for entry itself. Then driving uphill looking for a waterfall or some sort of lake (which we seen in reviews) dont know if they even exist. We dint find anything. On asking locals also we dint get any directions or suggestions, all we got in response was "there is nothing here to see, it's just jungle and nothing else". So we drove, looking for a place to sit or chill but could not find that either. Disappointed we left off feeling sad that we wasted precious time and money, instead of that we could have gone for a better drive somewhere else. So please don't waste your time (more than anything else, and also your money) which you can put to use somewhere else.

Yeoor Waterfall is a breathtaking oasis nestled within the enchanting Yeoor Hills, and it's no wonder that this hidden gem has become a favorite destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike. As I embarked on the trek to Yeoor Waterfall, I was immediately greeted by the lush greenery that surrounds the trail. The trek itself is a delightful journey, with every step taking me closer to the refreshing cascade that awaited at the end. The well-marked path and the occasional glimpses of wildlife added to the excitement of the adventure. Upon reaching the waterfall, I was mesmerized by the sight before me. The gushing water cascades down the rocky cliffs with incredible force, creating a stunning spectacle that left me in awe of nature's power and beauty. The sound of the rushing water was both soothing and invigorating, washing away all traces of stress and filling me with a sense of serenity. One of the highlights of Yeoor Waterfall is its untouched and pristine surroundings. The area is relatively unexplored, making it a perfect escape from the crowds and noise of the city. I relished the opportunity to connect with nature in its purest form, immersing myself in the tranquil ambiance that surrounded the waterfall. The pool formed at the base of the waterfall beckons visitors for a refreshing dip. Taking a plunge into the cool, crystal-clear waters was an unforgettable experience, and it offered a momentary escape from the sweltering heat of the outside world. It's a rare treat to be able to indulge in such a natural and invigorating swimming spot. The biodiversity around Yeoor Waterfall is astounding. The lush forest and the variety of flora and fauna are a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. I spotted several exotic bird species and marveled at the sight of colorful butterflies flitting about. It's a sanctuary of life and a reminder of the importance of preserving our natural heritage. I was pleased to see that the area around Yeoor Waterfall is well-maintained, with responsible tourism practices in place. The local authorities have taken steps to ensure the preservation of this ecological wonder, and it shows in the pristine condition of the surroundings. Whether you're a seasoned trekker, a nature enthusiast, or simply someone seeking a moment of peace and tranquility, Yeoor Waterfall has something to offer for everyone. The beauty of this place is beyond words, and it leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who visit. In conclusion, Yeoor Waterfall is a treasure trove of natural beauty and a testament to the wonders of Mother Nature. A visit to this majestic cascade is an experience that will rejuvenate your spirit and leave you with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. I wholeheartedly recommend exploring Yeoor Waterfall and embracing the magic it has to offer.

The place is been restricted by government, but still you can find locals and villagers at water fall. The problem is the police can come any time you might found yourself in problem. So, if you kind of adventurous you can go there. I would suggest don't go untill the restriction has been redeemed.

Although, I wasn't able to reach the waterfall because of it having been closed off recently for visitors by the forest department (or so I heard from the locals), nevertheless, is a great trekking spot, if you take a detour into the forest instead. Small streams and local establishments can be found inside after some exploring.

It’s inside the Sanjay Gandhi National Park; if you get access to trails and go inside it’s beautiful. Complete disappointment in terms of facility for public. government done nothing here. Took 350 rupees from us as entry fee for car and per person. It’s not worth at all giving money. Complete encroachment by local people. There is no access to trails; mountain. Lot of commercial resorts; who does not allow local public inside where they have created direct access to mountains. Borivali side of this National Park is far more better. It has all kind of public facility and access to beautiful nature. My recommendation is not to visit Thane side of National Park.

Yeoor is a hilly area in Thane city of Maharashtra state in India. Situated in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, it is known for its panthers and wildlife and is popularly known as "Mumbai's National Park"[1] Yeoor has 6 villages, and houses a population of around 3000. There are bungalows owned by the wealthy and ministers. An Indian Air Force station is also located in the area. Access to the area is tightly controlled by the Forest Department, and no vehicles are permitted to enter after 20:00 hours. The entire village area has access to MTNL, Dolphin and Vodafone network. The clean atmosphere is the main attraction of these hills, and has converted it into a perfect tourist spot for the people of Thane. People also come for morning walk and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere.

Yeoor is a hilly area in Thane city of Maharashtrastate in India. Situated in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, it is known for its panthers and wildlife and is popularly known as "Mumbai's National Park"The area also has road access with the general transportation being bus, auto rickshaws and private vehicles. The local village is quite under-developed with no electricity in the last 2 villages. Also the area has Municipal School with classes up to 9th grade. There are proper sanitation facilities in the village. There are hospitals in the village area but not modern. For treatment, the people have to come down to the Vartak-Nagar area (downhill) which is a proper town and a host to many reputed residential complexes.

Yeoor Waterfall, nestled amidst the serene forests of Yeoor Hills in Thane, is a hidden gem that offers a refreshing escape into nature's embrace. My visit to this enchanting waterfall was a delightful experience that left me mesmerized by its natural beauty and soothing ambiance. As I made my way through the lush greenery of Yeoor Hills, the sound of cascading water grew louder, heightening my anticipation. Upon reaching Yeoor Waterfall, I was greeted by a picturesque sight of water gracefully tumbling down moss-covered rocks, creating a tranquil oasis in the midst of the forest. The beauty of Yeoor Waterfall lies not only in its cascades but also in the surrounding scenery. The dense foliage, towering trees, and the symphony of birdsong create a serene and refreshing atmosphere. It's a paradise for nature enthusiasts, offering ample opportunities for photography, bird-watching, or simply immersing oneself in the tranquil surroundings. One of the highlights of Yeoor Waterfall is its accessibility. Unlike some other waterfalls that require arduous treks, Yeoor Waterfall can be reached with a moderate hike, making it suitable for visitors of different fitness levels. The well-marked trails and the guidance of local guides ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. During my visit, I also appreciated the eco-conscious practices observed by both visitors and authorities. The importance of maintaining cleanliness and preserving the natural environment is emphasized, encouraging responsible tourism. It's heartening to see efforts made to protect this pristine ecosystem for future generations to enjoy. It's worth noting that the water flow of Yeoor Waterfall may vary depending on the season and recent rainfall. To witness the waterfall in its full glory, it's advisable to visit during the monsoon or shortly after, when the cascades are at their most vibrant and powerful. If you're seeking a tranquil escape from the city's chaos and a chance to reconnect with nature, Yeoor Waterfall is a perfect destination. It offers a serene and picturesque setting that will rejuvenate your senses and provide a much-needed respite. Just remember to pack essentials such as comfortable shoes, insect repellent, and drinking water to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The main waterfall seems to have been closed for public due to some recent unfortunate incident but there are other small waterfalls nearby that are safer and can be explored. Now then the waterfall is the trek that leads you there that is beautiful and enjoyable. More so during the monsoons. Be careful with the routes or one might get lost searching for such hidden points in the national park.

I have been visiting the famous Yeoor Hill's waterfalls since 2010 when I purchased a farm house in Narkepada Yeoor Hill's as it's just 15mts Trekking from our Vashisht Kutir Banboo villa"s that I have developed at my farm. Actually seeing is believing so I request you all to come and visit this waterfall which can be climbed easily from the narrow lane's around the waterfall to reach the breath stopping views of the mountains of Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

Yeoor Waterfall is located close to Mumbai between Borivali & Dahisar area but falls in Thane area This waterfall can be easily reached only from Thane Railway Station (west) or Thane West Although it is considered close to Mumbai, it takes 1hour & above to reach from Mumbai to Yeoor Waterfall Whereas it takes 30minutes or less than that to reach from Thane West/Thane Rly. Stn. West to Yeoor Waterfall

It's very surreal trail to the waterfall amidst nature situated in Yeoor hills. One can see rice fields, natural streams alongside. The sounds of nature and lush Green atmosphere is a treat to the eyes and ears during monsoon. The trail is around 30-45 minutes from Exotica Hotel Yeoor. One can park their vehicles in the parking and start the trail towards Gurudatta Farms. Take right from the gate. It is advised to take someone along with you who knows the route else there are chances that one can get lost in the jungle.
