We booked our Mumbai Cultural tour and tour guide Pranav based on trip advisor reviews and we are so glad we did. His communications prior to our arrival gave us a valuable insight into what to expect on the tours. We were on a cruise and as such were heavily reliant on the reputation and reliability of our tour guide. Pranav met us at the port gate along with an air conditioned minibus that was used to ferry us about Mumbai. He also supplied a free wifi hotspot which was utilised by all 5 of the couples on the tour. Pranavs love for his country and culture really came across during our tours and his friendly nature made us all feel really at ease. The tours themselves were extremely informative and he always got us to the best spots at the right times to beat the crowds. Included in our tours were an excellent lunch on the first day and a traditional vegetarian breakfast on the second day which were both of really good quality. I would say our highlights were meeting the children at the laundry, the visit to the Hare Krishna Temple for the morning dance ceremony, the lunch box delivery guys and the visit to the flower market. I must also comment on how friendly the people of Mumbai were whenever we spoke to them. Another good thing about the tours is that we were never taken to any places for a hard sell of goods that we frequently get on other tours. This cruise took us to various ports and I have got to say Pranav was by far and away the best guide we had. I would thoroughly recommend Pranav as a tour guide for what we reckon is the best introduction to Mumbai that a tourist could receive.

What an amazing tour of Mumbai! It was the best way to experience the city for my husband and I with just a couple days to see as much as we could. Pranav was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a great deal of history and cultural context for many sites in Mumbai. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling there!

pranav is a delight! i visited mumbai in march on a business trip and felt i really needed to get some background on the sites i had seen in passing. i booked the tour with pranav and he was like meeting an old friend in mumbai! he came to my hotel with his driver and we started visiting sites and while talking we learned about each other and then he tailored the tour to my interests. i learned so much about india and about pranav's life and beliefs and interests. it was a fascinating and absolutely delightful day. i wish i had had more time; i would have booked him another day to see/learn more. i would recommend him to anyone and i would definitely meet him again when i next visit mumbai. i would give 10 stars if possible!

Pranav organised a private tour for a group of like minded travellers on a World cruise on Arcadia. He met us at the port and escorted us to our small coach and driver. The coach was comfortable with air conditioning and plenty big enough for us to move around. Pranav is a local and has extensive knowledge of his beautiful city. His love for Mumbai was evident as he guided us around his amazing busy city. We saw sights we would never have seen on a ships tour and all felt that we had seen the ‘real’ Mumbai. We stopped regularly to sample local food and drinks which were all included in the tour. The coach followed us around everywhere so we were never too long without the comfort of the air conditioning. If I am lucky enough to travel to Mumbai again in the future Pranav would be my first choice for another tour of this magnificent city with its lovely friendly people.

We were fortunate to find Pranav and Grand Mumbai Tours on Trip Advisor. Pranav is a very knowledgeable guide who is eager to convey historic, cultural, and political information about Mumbai and India. His depth of knowledge is impressive. If you ask about a building, for example, his typical response is to relate when it was built, by whom, what it is used for, and any noteworthy events in its history. We did two six hour tours and felt that we saw an incredible amount of Mumbai. Though my wife has mobility issues and uses a rolling walker (rollator) Pranav was able to design itineraries that were doable for her. We had lunches both days in local restaurants (we were the only non-Indians in each) with memorable food. Pranav is really a nice guy with a good sense of humor. Our driver was quite skilled in the chaotic (but organized) traffic. We felt very fortunate to have both of their services.

Fabulous Mumbai day. I reviewed an assortment of tours and selected the 21 Best Tour. It was a great introduction to fascinating Mumbai. Pranav delivered all that was promised and more by sharing special insights that hit my personal interests. I had previously taken a tour with Pranav (eighteen months ago) and had had great memories - so this time when I took the good lady too I wanted Pranav to show us both round. He suggested that we do an early morning tour of some more unusual sites (and sights!) in Mumbai - and that I could guide around the British sites myself. That was a great suggestion. So, punctually at 6am we were picked up from our hotel in South Mumbai and started a tour around the parts of Mumbai that we would never see ourselves. This started with the newspapers being sorted as the sun rose, amazing vegetable, flower (and all sorts of other things) markets, the wonderfully memorable outside laundry, feeding a sacred cow, a Hare Krishna temple for the 8am act of worship, and the Ganges within Mumbai... All that and an authentic breakfast in a little over four hours. We booked a private tour for just the two of us - but Pranav never takes more than four so you would have personal attention. If you have arrived in Mumbai not having a clue about why Indians are so passionate about cricket you should ask him too (he plays semi-professionally, and his passion and knowledge of the game is brilliant for me - a cricket lover - but also ALMOST excited my wife - a previous cricket widow...). Do go for an early start if you can - particularly as the weather gets warmer. Thoroughly recommended!

I did the ‘Off the Beaten Track’ tour and it was one of the highlights of our time in India. The owner and tour guide was friendly, trustworthy and incredibly knowlageble. You felt as though you were being shown around by a good friend rather than a tour guide. Best tour company in Mumbai!

I did the Mixed Dawn Tour this week and everything went really well. The owner communicated well in advance and on the day. Knowledgeable, able to answer questions. It was a good way to get an impression of the city and definitely worth the early morning start as it was cool and fairly quiet. Definitely recommend it

He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to—you could ask him anything about Indian customs or Mumbai and he'd answer it with no problem. First time in India for me, it is not an easy place to navigate, and having a guide is very valuable, especially for the first days. Pranav also helped us with suggestions for sights to see, museums, restaurants... everything we tried were great (even street food!!). He also recommended a great SIM card which was INR 300 for 10 Days and provide 1.4G data per day! Amazing! We highly recommend Grang Mumbai Tours.

During the tour we saw the main attractions of Mumbai like; the Gate of India, Marine Drive, Open air laundry, Mumbai Dabbawalas and so on.. Our tour kicked off at 08h00 which was perfect timing to avoid the crowds! If you are planning a day or 2 in Mumbai, I would highly recommend Pranav. He will look after you like you are family!

This tour was terrific, a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all 4 of us! Before we left home, based on initial suggestions from Pranav, the owner, we worked together to customize what we wanted to see. Pranav was completely accommodating, making further suggestions about possible routes and best use of our time. I was particularly impressed by his concern for our safety and comfort. He was very prompt to reply, totally professional and courteous at all times. Before we arrived, he sent photos of himself and exactly where we would meet up, made things super easy. During the tour, he was very knowledgeable, personable and engaging. Having wifi access while on the road was much appreciated. He surprised us with a fantastic meal at the end of the tour - one of the best meals we had on the whole trip. I contacted Pranav very late in the day with a hope of arranging a tour for the next day. My request was accommodated with grace and a smile! The tour itself was just what I was looking for - I saw the major sites, learned a little about the history of each site, and got to see the 'real' Mumbai. Book!

I was tired of searching for a good tour company in TripAdvisor and google, especially the ones in TA because the companies promoted there had quite a lot negative critics on the internet and owners were responding to reviews in various ugly ways. Then i found this guy, Pranav. Super responsive, has a great positive energy, flexible and smart. Our tour was planned in a very smart way, we didn’t have to wait for the car nor stuck in the traffic. Pranav is very knowledge also known in local markets so if makes the tour warmer and locals more -even more- approachable. Another five star to his driver, in the madness of local traffic this guy was really driving professionally. Lastly i should say that whenever i visit Mumbai i will arrange a different tour with him and would suggest to anybody visiting there.
