Aarey forest is very huge. It has various kinds of lives. Biodiversity is at its best. The place is so huge that it can't be covered by walking. If one want to cover the whole area then car/bike would make it feasible. The picnic point is beautiful and very much recommended for groups and families. The Best buses are also available for the same. Other than this auto rickshaw and cab would do its bit.

I drive through this place everyday, this place is a blessing in a concrete jungle city of Mumbai, it has greenery all around and is my biggest stress buster, just watch out for traffic conditions prior to taking this route

A quiet place in bustling city. Though the park is not maintained properly, you can find some ok place to sit and relax. One aarey shop and one small canteen is what you can get there. But definitely a place if you hate crowd. Hit amongst Mumbai couples as you can find good number of couples in park.

Nice place for family outings, especially with kids as there are swings and other set-ups. Not for nature lovers as this is more like a restricted garden with walls all around. Beyond it is bliss.

Always feel like taking a stop here for refreshments but I just pass by. This review is not actually cause i’ve been there but it is always so tempting to go there. Don’t know if it’s still open as I haven’t seen anybody there, when I pass by, since COVID. But the quiet, the greenery, and the tranquility gets inside you and asks you to take a break from reality.

We go every Sunday to Aarey picnic point not to have a damn picnic but for peaceful Protest. The protest is meant to SAVE AAREY FOREST. People for Vested Interest are going to destroy Aarey Jungle and make it into a Concrete Jungle starting with Metro car shed. I am 76 and that will effect not me but our future Generations to come. So come one come all to Save our Lungs that is Aarey Jungle.

Honestly the political leaders and ruling goverment have scr*wed this place up. I've lived here all my life and have been coming here since childhood. Used to be so beautiful.. like going to a different country.. away from all the pollution and noise of the city to fresh air.. amazing nature.. quiet.. serene environment.. greenery from start to end of entire Aarey Colony.. so many birds.. butterflies.. other insects.. so many different animals.. reptiles.. it was amazing. Now it's just becoming another concrete jungle thanks to the metro and other projects being carried out there. Very sad what people can destroy for money and in the name of development. Very sad.

Good for a one day picnic and outing, best thing is you can carry your own food at the park and enjoy the home made food in between forest area

There is a pay and use park for picnic with 2 food shops inside . The toilets are a nightmare and not maintained well. The rickshaw takes 80 rupees from the station but bus connectivity is also frequent. On the road there is a shop that sells cigarettes and others snacks and drinks.

You can feel the different between city air and Natural air cool feel. Nice picnic spot.

Calm place. I you want peace between the rush of Mumbai you must have to visit here. Small shops are available for chips, cookies, cold drinks and water.
