It is a painful process to even get even a basic test like an ultrasound done here. Don’t even get me started on getting an appointment with a doctor because even with a confirmed appointment you will end up spending hours here because the staff who sit at the desk are super casual and honestly don’t care about you and there is no proper time management. They will also go to the extent of lying to you by saying the doctor is in the surgery or operating a patient just so that you can wait. Whilst I have no complaints regarding the doctor who consulted me (Dr Gayatri) she is really good, the process of getting a consultation with her is honestly painful. So if you have all the time in the world and are willing to sit for hours because there’s no process in place, go for it.

Very bad experience.... I got hysterectomy done 3 yrs ago. Biopsy reports showed granulosa cell tumor. I was not informed any details about the tumor. As I did not know what exactly is GCT, its reoccured and I m in a bad state today. I had to undergo a major surgery followed by chemo sessions.. Very bad experience Would never recommend anyone....

Horrible time management by the staff at the front desk, especially the staff member called JANET, inspite of having a 3.45 appointment and having informed them about having a flight at 8pm the same evening, we were made to wait for over 2 hours and 9 other patients who walked in after us (counter since I had so much time on hand there) were all done n home by the time we were taken in to see the doc! No System of appointments followed, no regard for patients waiting for hours, Extremely Upsetting!

My experience with Dr. Gayatri Rao @ women's hospital was extremely good. I have never met a doctor who is so calm and composed. She always treated me so lovingly and always assured everything was well and fine. She has that calming effect that I needed in my pregnancy esp when it was progressing and in the labor room. She helped me deliver my baby with the shortest labor and pain. I can't thank her enough for her support throughout my journey. I would highly recommend her to all the women who are planning pregnancy. She is very gentle and understands her patients well with patient.

I had to get a surgery (laparoscopy) done in March. Since it is covid times, I wanted a small hospital set up preferably a maternity one where it could be safer. After seeing reviews on Powai Women Networking, I shortlisted 2 hospitals/doctors. I went ahead with Dr Gayatri Rao at Women's hospital, Khar!! I had the best experience with her and the team there. I was extremely apprehensive to be honest because it was a new place for me. I didnt know anyone there. I went all by myself for my check up, knowing completely well that I need a surgery. After which, the next time I met my doctor was directly when I got admitted to the hospital! What I liked: 1) firstly, the staff at the reception - it's a breeze to take an appointment there. They dont keep you waiting to connect the line. They are polite and respectful when they talk. 2) the doctor was so so amazing... it was so easy to trust her from the minute I met her. She knew what she was talking so I knew I would be in safe hands. Also, she was available on whatsapp for queries. 3) the nurses and staff were very caring.. I really have no words to explain this. 4) It is a small hospital so there's no unnecessary running around. Having said that, despite being a small set up, they are very professional. They know their job. If any of you have any maternity or women related issues, pls go to Dr Gayatri Rao. She is fab!!

Having been recommended Dr Gayatri Rao by a close friend who had had a fabulous experience with her, I was looking forward to a similar experience myself. Needless to say, I was not disappointed at all. Dr Gayatri has got to be one of the most phenomenal gynacs in Mumbai. Her entire approach to pregnancy and women related issues is so positive and reassuring. She is extremely meticulous and conscientious in her examinations. Even at the delivery table where one is bound to suffer from some level of anxiety, she kept the atmosphere extremely calm and encouraging. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top quality gynac. Her decades of experience speak volumes in her interactions with you and she is a gynac one would not want to switch from at all. My experience with Women's Hospital has been equally praise worthy. An extremely hygienic environment aided by fantastic, experienced and approachable staff makes this hospital the go to place for all maternity related issues.

Although very good hospital for maternity care and a great team of gynaecologist i was very happy with the doctor team for their hard-work and knowledge but i guess the staff and management needs to improvise a-lot with the appointments . Reason for such is that i had an appointment of a friend at 2pm which i witnessed personally waiting outside since 2pm it took 3 hours upto 5pm exactly for them to sort-out for the sonography so i would suggest the staff to work hard and don’t give open appointments if the crowd is not manageable. Tho m very satisfied with the doctor’s but not with the staff and management.

I had delivered a baby in Women's Hospital & in that package it was 2 nights & 3 days stay so I was assuming post lunch will take discharge because I had to travel 30km & just to avoid peak office hours traffic we thought will leave post lunch Doc Gaytri rao & floor nurses were very corporative with my plan But AARTI lied to us that we have to leave as early as possible because she has allotted my room to someone & she was in OT already... without my concern how can she do that? Are you paying for this kind of services?? I was alone in the room as my husband went down for discharge paper work & I started panicking because being a 1st time mom taking care of your newborn,your stitches,you are low on energy & winding of stuff was not easy 1 nurse also started helping me to wrap up things, When my husband came he said it’s okay it only 1 o clock we can leave post lunch because all the payment,paper work was done & head nurse also said the many rooms are empty but that Aarti lied to us & was not at all corporative indirectly she forced us thrice to leave as earliest as possible Maybe she wanted us to leave before her shift ends or what not I have no complaints regarding the doctors Dr.Manju Sinha & Dr Gaytri Rao they are a gem of a person The nurses & kitchen staff are very good & helpful but the front desk staff is the complete opposite Horrible time management by the reception staff in spite of having an appointment one has to wait for hours They only give time & still you have to wait hours I had sonography to be done with bladder full & still I had to wait an hour to get it done so painful process it was Atleast in your last few weeks they should corporate but every week same process waiting for hours No system of appointment followed

Dr. Shweta is one the most wonderful thorough caring doctors there is. I have been her patient since 2013 and have had two big hospital admissions under her care and in this time- both times were not just handled professionally but also with this extra special touch and personal care that makes it a balanced experience. She takes care or the little details with ease and her immense experience provide the confidence we need to tackle big issues. The womens hospital is a little oasis of feminine energies caring for women in a way that’s rare in other multi speciality hospitals. The fact that all staff at all levels are women dealing with womens issues adds this extra layer of comfort that’s really quite rare. There’s a spiritual backdrop to the place also which adds something extra. Highly recommended.

I had one of the best experience at Women’s hospital. It is a small boutique hospital for women. Everyone from Doctors to nurses to kitchen staff, was courteous, always smiling anc very attentive to your needs. What I also liked that they did not give you a long list of medical supplies and order it. They had fixed price of the packages and with the breakdowns .. then taking no more extra money for medicine or any medical supplies. My doctor, Gayatri Rao was very detail in explanation before and after surgery, they provided pictures and videos of all the procedures. What I liked is they are very transparent in their approach. There are no hidden agendas or cost. Arti, the manager was unbelievably helpful, courteous, called up personally to my dad to remind him of appointments and follow ups. Overall staff at reception, nurses and care takers were polite, courteous and very helpful. I would truly recommend any women who wants to deliver a baby or need any gynecological procedures. The sisters, maushis , kitchen staff are extremely helpful and they are always there to check on you as soon as u need them. My experience with both my deliveries has been excellent. Dr Gayatri Rao is the best gynacs she is so patient with all the smallest of doubts and is very responsive even on WhatsApp. Dr Manju Sinha was there by my side throughout my delivery in the OT guiding me with what is going to happen next. It was a very special moment for us & the doctors, sister's & the entire team made sure everything was smooth. I am consulting Dr. Gayatri Rao at Khar Women's Hospital since 2019. Since the first time I met Dr. Gayatri Rao, I was amazed at her patience, calm demeanor, kind voice, reassuring words, and spot on diagnosis and treatment. Her warm smile always gives the feeling that everything is fine. What is commendable is that Dr. Gayatri not only patiently and clearly explain her patient's doubts in person, but she also always responds on WhatsApp, without sounding the least bit irritated. This is a blessing. A couple of weeks ago I got a surgery done from Dr. Gayatri at Women's Hospital, for a fibroid removal and a hysteroscopic D&C. My overall experience was fantastic to say the least. I was a bit nervous but she assured me that all is well. I had several questions that I would keep asking her but not once did she sound annoyed while replying back, even on message. My surgery was done brilliantly and the entire time was extremely caring, calming, and reassured me at every step. The anaesthesia team was outstanding.. they kept talking to me and making me feel at ease, checking every minute if I am comfortable. I didn't realize when I smoothly drifted into the effects of the anaesthesia listening to soothing music and the calming words of the anesthesiologist - Dr. Sandhya if I'm not mistaken. And couple of others too whose names i cannot remember. When i came out of the OT, I felt perfectly fine and had minimal discomfort. The anesthesia was given really well, in the perfect dosage, which only lasted during the surgery. I came out of it very smoothly. Even the post-surgery discomfort was minimal, thanks to the outstanding job done by Dr. Gayatri and the rest of the team. I must say, I was dreading the whole IV experience, but even that was handled fabulously - I can say I almost had no pain due to the IV (which is usually extremely painful). My family and friends were surprised to see me looking fresh and talking like nothing even happened. Apart from Dr. Gayatri, the anesthesiologists, nurses, assistant doctors, maushis, cleaning ladies, each and every person here is wonderful. Sunita from accounts helped me with my Mediclaim documents, Aarti and Gazala both were really sweet and helpful. Aarti came to my room after my surgery to give a gift bag with some beautiful thoughtful gifts. Even the kitchen staff was awesome and proactive, not to mention the hygienic and homely food. A special mention about the cleanliness and hygiene maintained at Women's Hospital - spick and span, spotless rooms, OTs, and the overall premises. I can safely say that Women's Hospital is an outstanding place that does not have a typical hospital / scary vibe, it feels like home. And of course, the people here make it even better. If you are looking for a great gynecologist and a seamless experience, being a woman, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gayatri Rao and Women's Hospital.

Love women’s hospital the staff the doctors everyone. Would specifically like to highlight my experience with doctor Namrata for my sonography for both my pregnancies. Absolutely professional yet very warm and had alot of patience, especially for my twin pregnancy. I was never nervous to go for my sonography as she was very positive and to the point!

Perfect hospital for any kind of women’s problems. My wife was operated for uterus removal by Dr. Gayatri Rao. She did it very well. Reception staff, nursing staff even all mausis were very courteous. Cashless facility is there and Ms. Sunita who is handling all these, made it very comfortable.

I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy done by Dr Shweta Raje. She is an amazing Dr. Everything went very well. Instructions pre and post surgery were given very clearly. The Operation took place on time and was handled very professionally. I experienced absolutely no discomfort after the operation. The environment of the hospital is very calming and positive. The staff right from reception to the nurses , kitchen and mawshis all were very caring and helpful. Everything was provided without asking. My whole journey went very smoothly without any stress.

Doctor Shweta is one the best doctors there. But the admin staff is not very organised They give appointments and when you reach 15 minutes before the appointment they cannot find your booking in the system and despite of requesting that you have a flight to catch they make you wait for 45minutes. If they cannot accommodate so many patients then why book an appointment in the first place and donot take requests seriously .

All staffs very professional and kind, the DR , nurses n housekeepers very good in the profession. They made my procedure journey so smooth and stress free as I was getting worried about having it done. Dr Gaytri Rao is really the best gynaecologist i ever known ❤️

Really horrible staff and time management. Waited 2 hours even with an appointment which was changed by their request. Came here for Dr Gayathri , she not only failed to give me the help I needed , she lied to me about my procedure and hampered my health. They clearly don't know how to handle the load of patients and there is zero communication between the doctors and staff.
