A beautiful, well maintained gardens within Parsee colony. It is a peaceful place to sit and relax, do jogging, exercise. Even a children's corner is maintained for the young tots to enjoy. In a small triangular shape garden, double bar is installed for exercising. Am sure the nearby locality persons must be visiting either of the five gardens to exercise, jog, relax. It is worth a place, when disturbed or stressed or tired. Do visit this tranquil peaceful place and forget/remove the stress and be at peace with your mind and body.

A super peaceful place in the middle of this busy city. Has a ground for sports, gymnasium, walking path, benches to sit and street food. You can't ask for more if you are here. It is something that has been preserved in between this concrete jungle.

5 Gardens in Matunga is truly a gem for relaxation seekers and nature enthusiasts. This serene oasis never sleeps, and it's no wonder why. The lush greenery and vibrant atmosphere create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. You'll often find many lovely couples enjoying the tranquil ambiance at any time of day. However, it's important to be cautious during the rainy season as dry branches may pose a risk. But don't let that deter you from experiencing the beauty of this place. One of the highlights is the delightful street food available nearby. Don't miss the opportunity to savor the best Kala Khatta, sandwiches, and watery Bhel Puri, among other tempting snacks. For families, 5 Gardens is an excellent spot in the evenings, with activities like horse rides and public gym equipment to keep everyone entertained. If you visit in the morning or evening, make sure to try the public gym equipment and indulge in a refreshing juice made from Neem, Karela, Kokum, and more, available near the public gym garden. 5 Gardens truly offers a blend of nature, leisure, and delicious treats – a must-visit spot in Matunga!

Wadala Five Gardens Overview User Wadala five garden mancherji joshi five gardens share more about your experience ChatGPT I apologize for any confusion, but as an AI language model, I don't have personal experiences or the ability to visit places. However, I can provide information about Wadala Five Garden and Mancherji Joshi Five Gardens based on the knowledge I have up until September 2021. Wadala Five Garden, also known as "Panch Rasta," is a popular garden located in the Wadala neighborhood of Mumbai, India. It is a well-maintained public park that offers a serene environment for relaxation and recreation. The garden is named "Five Garden" because it is divided into five sections, each with its own distinct theme and features. The park is known for its lush greenery, beautiful flowers, and well-manicured lawns. It provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing visitors to enjoy nature and spend quality time with family and friends. There are walking paths where people can take leisurely strolls, jog, or exercise. Mancherji Joshi Five Gardens, also known as Matunga Five Gardens, is another popular park located in the Matunga neighborhood of Mumbai. It is named after Mancherji Joshi, a prominent Parsi industrialist and philanthropist. Similar to Wadala Five Garden, Mancherji Joshi Five Gardens is divided into five sections, each representing a different theme. The park is known for its well-maintained flower beds, trees, and open spaces. It offers a peaceful environment for people to relax, exercise, and enjoy nature. Both Wadala Five Garden and Mancherji Joshi Five Gardens are frequented by locals for morning and evening walks, picnics, and various recreational activities. They are considered important green spaces in the city, providing a breath of fresh air and a place to unwind amidst the urban landscape.

One of the few green areas in Central Mumbai. Most of the roads leading from the gardens area tree lined creating a green cover not found easily in the city. There is one garden designed for young children. Another garden has a open gym. Another garden is used for casual meetings of groups generally over the weekends. The Central garden has a beautiful fountain. Many people come here for walking exercise either individually or in groups.

Pro: Calm silent space in heart of city. Just to Relax along with distant sea shore. Cons: Not much accessible for Differently able people. Food stalls around charge overly priced stuffs but good to satiate taste buds. Caution: Please check local timings before going. Because mostky timings are very odd. And there are some littering.

Have been visiting this place for close to 20 years. It's right in the middle of the city, a cluster of 5 gardens, all at an arms distance from each other. Tall gulmohar trees dotted with bats hanging upside down are a common sight. A few benches to sit and take in the sights. If only our muncipality would do a better job of maintaining them, it would add so much to this lovely neighborhood.

Then this is good place to visit. The place is quite confusing and you might get lost. Not many food corner in the entire area and yes there is a public restroom

Five Gardens area in Matunga is part of the famous Dadar-Parsi colony. This area was specially established for the upper class Parsis in the very early 19th century by the efforts of Mancherji Edalji Joshi, a renowned Parsi patron. The British however built it under the scheme of Bombay City Improvement Plan for the localities of Dadar, Matunga, Wadala, Sion in 1899-1900. So this is the first planned area of the city with spaces allocated for residences, green space, schools and colleges with proximity to transport infrastructure The purpose was to de-congest the city after the Bombay Bubonic Plague Epidemic which broke in the September of 1896. According to the plan they wanted to house about 60,000 people in Sion and about 85,000 in Dadar & Matunga. Now there is as much people in every square kilometer of this area (pardon my exaggeration!).

One of the oldest open spaces of Mumbai and today the lungs of the city. This entire area is surrounded by residential buildings. The gardens are well maintained by the BMC. Young and old are seen taking walks, playing and / or just soaking in the sites.

The place is nearby Dadar, Matunga and Vadala station in Mumbai...a popularly visited place by teenagers from nearby schools and colleges and also by people of every age...Five gardens name Itself imply that there are five gardens...and as per my experience one is for sports activities including open gym...one is for kids having slides and kids playing area...one is where mostly public general meeting happens ...one is majorly occupied by love partners for spending a quality time ...and one is in centre to all four gardens don't know about it much... So next time U visit these nearby areas and want to spend a quality time with free of cost fresh air... visit Five Gardens...

Good place to go with friends and family. Food stalls are available so you can enjoy snacks and tea with your group. The only issue it that some couples display affection which puts you in an awkward situation in front family and kids. Otherwise it is a beautiful place to hangout. There are even horses and slides for the kids to enjoy. Good place for family picnic.

One of the very few places in Mumbai where one can feel at peace although having 100s of people around you. As the name suggests it self, there are 5 Gardens in the huge area located in Zig zag manner and all are occupied by people at any given time of the day. It has big big trees around, beautiful flower plants. All Gardens have many benches to sit and do chit-chat, although one can sit on the grass it self for the real Garden like feeling. The place attracts all kind of people be it family, friends, walker, Joggers, Couples ( Married/Unmarried ), people who come to play Cricket/Badminton/Soccer etc etc. Must visit for its charm and to feel at peace and enjoy every moment spent there.

Great place to hangout if you're in Matunga. The garden has different vibes all through out the day. It has a free gym where you can find people ranging from all age group tearing their muscles. Around 10am you can find the famous Anna Vada towards the VJTI Hostel. Each garden is unique, catering to all age groups. Right from kids playground to love birds chirping underneath huge lush green trees. They are well maintained and one can spend quality time there with a loved one or bunch of friends doing hip hop.

Five gardens include a variety of the garden like one is a playground for teens to play football and cricket and one type of garden which has children's swings and rides. And also you can ride horses in the evening. Much more than five gardens also, have places for the couple to sit and watch, to eat many local street food cuisine.

Beautiful gardens, a bit crowd. Good to hang out (friends and couple.) Food stalls found here are only 3 main around the corner of one of the garden. 1. A chaat stall 2. Sandwich stall 3. Gola stall Generally the location is calm in the evenings. Bit crowded during weekends. Thanks!

Gardens are well liked after. There is like a Dance platform in one of the gardens on west side. Quiet place although roads cross through the Five gardens. One irritating part is young couples getting intimate in public. So visiting with family is awkward.

I had the pleasure of visiting Five Garden recently, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. This garden is a true oasis of natural beauty and tranquility, providing a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. First and foremost, the landscaping of Five Garden is simply stunning. The variety of flora and fauna present in the garden creates a vibrant and colorful atmosphere. The well-manicured lawns, blooming flowers, and carefully curated plant arrangements contribute to the visual appeal and create a sense of serenity. The layout of the garden is thoughtfully designed, with clearly marked pathways that allow visitors to explore and appreciate its various sections. As I strolled along the pathways, I was greeted by the sight of charming gazebos, tranquil ponds, and strategically placed benches where I could sit and admire the surroundings. The garden also offers a range of recreational activities to suit different interests. There are dedicated areas for picnics, where families and friends can gather and enjoy a leisurely meal amidst the natural beauty. Additionally, the playground and open spaces provide ample opportunities for children to run, play, and have a great time. One aspect that truly stood out to me was the sense of tranquility and peace that enveloped the entire garden. Despite being located in the heart of the city, Five Garden managed to create an environment that feels far removed from the urban chaos. It provided a much-needed respite, allowing me to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. The maintenance of Five Garden is commendable. The garden is well-kept, with clean pathways and properly trimmed foliage. The staff members were friendly and helpful, ensuring that the visitors had a pleasant experience. The cleanliness and attention to detail added to the overall charm of the garden. In conclusion, Five Garden is a hidden gem that offers a delightful escape into nature. With its breathtaking landscaping, thoughtful design, and serene atmosphere, it is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with the beauty of the outdoors. Whether you're looking for a peaceful stroll, a family picnic, or simply a moment of tranquility, Five Garden is a must-visit destination.
