I've been passing by the restaurant on the regular and always wanted to try it out. Honestly, I don't know why we didn't come here before. And now that we have, it's hand's down my favourite Sea food restaurant, in this part of town. I really liked the whole vibe of the place, especially the hand painted murals on the 1st floor seating area. Comfortable seating, spacious yet cosy. Their speciality being Mangalorean cuisine, we obviously had to try the staples! So we started with their superb Prawns Rava fry, coated and shallow fried in the most crunchy rava coating, is a must have. It was so good we ordered 3 plates! Same goes for their Prawns Koliwada fry, with delicious crispy bits of curry patta, adding an amazing punch of flavour! Both these come highly recommended by everyone. You also must try their 'Sukkha Masala' - with any seafood of your choice. We went for their Teesria or clams. The masala has a heavy dose of fresh grated coconut, spices and well balanced flavors. For the mains, Please do not leave without trying their Ghee Roast. It's the best I've had in Bombay. Right up there with the famous one from Nagarjuna, Bangalore. Perfect roast masala with liberal amount of cashews in it. Best eaten with Neer Dosas. I just wish their quantity was a little more. It's just enough for one good eater. The Prawn Gassi with Kori Roti is another Mangalorean speciality you cannot miss! Their Fish thalis are also very good and reasonable too. The verdict: Superb food and good service are a delightful combination! UPDATE: Visited the last two times and I'm sad to say that they lost the title for the best ghee roast. Since the chef changed, the dish is very mediocre, with maybe two-three bits of cashews in it. :( Taste is not right too

We ended up at this eatery unintendedly and it turned out to be a good experience. Basically Manglorean food joint, they are serving Chinese and Mughlai, too. Have North Indian veg and non -veg options, too. So in a way, you can have your pick. Suggest, try their sea food, the mangalorian stuff. We tried and were happy. The two floor AC restaurant has bar at first floor offering you another option. Service is okay and the boys polite. Ambience is decent. Negative point is no parking, valet or otherwise!

We have been looking for a good place to try non vegetarian thali and happen to come across this place. We tried the chicken thali, pomfret thali and Surmai thali..Each and every dish was delicious and had authentic taste. Pomfret masala fry was out of the world. We also had fish tikka and that was yummy as well. We wanted to try more dishes on the menu but had absolutely no space in tummy. We would definitely visit this place anytime. Highly recommended and full value for money

My quest for sea food lead me to this place. It was an online delivery. After reading a few not-so-good reviews, I was a bit skeptical but still decided to pursue this place for my dinner cravings. I ordered Prawns Schezwan Fried Rice which came on time. The ingredients and spices were all to the point with finely cooked pieces of prawns. However, there was a little spill over due to the schezwan sauce which is understandable. I loved the food, and will definately order again in the future.

So many items to try on the menu that one visit is just not enough. Loved the Chicken satay, Prawns chilly and Chicken ghee roast with Neer dosas. They have variety of sea foods to try as well. Decent place, good ambience and light on the pocket.

As the name suggests it specialises in seafood preparation. But other than that the rest of the indian cuisine curries were really good. The ghee roast chicken was amazing with the neer dosa. The American chop suey was tad bit sweeter than I expected. But overall a really good place to catch some grub food.

Wanted to try out a seafood place in the Andheri/ Powai area. Must say, this place didn't disappoint. The seafood was very tasty and brought back memories of the meals I've had in Mangalore and Goa. The prawns ghee roast with neer dosa is a must try. Did not check out too many items on the menu but will definitely be visiting this place again when I crave for seafood. One thing not advertised anywhere is that this place also serves alcohol. A chilled beer with the seafood hit the spot.

Sea food lovers should definitely try this place out. We went for the lunch service, was quite crowded at noon but didn't have to wait too long for the table. Helpful staff and super fast service. There are some options for vegetarians as well but primarily it is a sea food restaurant. The prices are quite reasonable too. Nothing much to say about the ambiance and decor. All in all, a good experience.

Delightful restaurant with a cool ambience. The Mangalorean cuisine is spot-on! Chicken Ghee Roast is an absolute must-have dish. And the Coconut Roll dessert is to die for.....if you like coconut flavoured sweets, you'll love this. Is definitely a kind-of-place you'll want to visit again and again.

The ambiance and the taste of the food is quite good. The only con of this place is that the service is very slow Feels like they are understaffed during peak hours Orders took more than 1 hour to be served and each subsequent order got even more delayed Ruined the experience for me There's corporate discount for ICICI employees and other companies as well so make sure you make use of it Would recommend trying Crispy chicken 4⭐ Chicken Ghee roast 3.5 ⭐ Chicken pot rice 4.5 ⭐

Delightful restaurant with a cool ambience. The goan cuisine is spot-on! you'll love this. Is definitely a kind-of-place you'll want to visit again and again. This is on candolime beach road ans mostly crowded. Just do reservation during weekends or you won’t get a table for sometime. Really good food, nice portion size, always filled with people and good vibe I loved the atmosphere. It’s packed most of the times. The live shows are amazing. Singers match the pulse of the audience. Try the steak! But, I Won’t recommend typical Goan food here. Cost: Expensive Taste: Above average Ambience: Excellent

This is the best place for dine in. Clean & hygienic, tasty and low price. Stuffs are very well mannered and honest. Overall it won't disappoint you at all. Tips: Take seat on the first floor, and if you order masala gravy just tell them to lower the ammount of oil.

To our pleasant surprise this restaurant serves one of the best seafood we've had in the city! Absolutely stunning fish and prawns. Also had the mutton ghee roast and it was cooked well with lots of flavour and spice. Seating space is quite cramped but manageable for the lovely food. Will definitely visit again!

We visited on 23/06/23 for Dinner. 1) Surmai Slice Tawa Fry costs Rs.650/- for one slice- too overpriced, not worth it. Size of slice was decent but it was cut very thin and was very much rubbery and chewy. Too much of Masala. 2) Mutton Sukka- We took one bite and asked them to take it back. Mutton was not fresh at all and not cooked properly. Again chewy. 3) Prawns Rawa Fry- The coating was good in taste but we literally ate the prawns and coating separately. 4) Prawns Pulimunchi- The gravy was very much sour and the prawns were chewy. Not worth the money spent. (Rs. 390/- for one portion). Much much better Prawns Pulimunchi is served at Jai Hind and at lower rate too.

It is very close to my place and has a very cozy environment. I have been here quite a few times and every dish is tasty enough to appreciate. Not a great fan of seafood still this place has other good options in chicken as well as vegetarian. Must recommend.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. It is nestled in a busy street of chandivali adjacent to ICICI Bank with a lot of development going on around in its vicinity. As this restaurant falls right on the main road finding parking seems challenging thanks to valet parking offered by them. As soon as you enter this place you will feel a cool vibe free of all the hustle and bustle of the city which gives a relaxing feeling. We directly went up stairs and occupied the biggest available table. Initially, they didn't play the music so the atmosphere was a bit dull but later felt better once it was switched on. We ordered following dishes: Bombil fry(they do deep fry and not tava fry) keep this in mind before ordering. Prawns Biryani Chicken ghee roast and neer dosa to compliment this. Paneer Banjara tikka & Drinks Except for bombil fry you can go ahead and try all the dishes. Service was quick. Please free to ask if you have any questions wrt this restaurant and I'll try to answer. Hope this was helpful, thanks for stopping by

Afternoon visit few weeks back. Tried chicken sukha & tandoori rotis. They don't serve gravy along with sukha. It needs to be ordered separately. Chicken sukha was not bad but those who have had this dish at mahesh, apoorva, pratap, fountain inn (all at fort) may not like it. It certainly lacked punch and although it had coconut and curry leaves it seemed the chicken was cooked/boiled first and then mixed with coconut/masala. It was not dry as is expected from the name of the dish but moist or little runny. The decor aims to attract the crowd from nearby offices but at times you get a feeling that you are sitting in an ordinary bar or one which has been refurbished partly. The menu is extensive, focus is on sea food and the menu describes in detail the difference between rava fry & deep fry, masala & pulimunchi, gassi & curry and so on. Since this was my first time here I didn't order anything exotic. Wash room is on first floor and one has to climb a circular staircase to access it. This may not be safe for someone who has downed a few drinks. The plus points are generous portions, moderate prices (food as well as drinks), quick service and staff who are very humble and helpful.

Team Food Auror was dining in at fisherman’s cove last evening. From the outside it looks like this really small, hole in the wall kinda place, but these guys are huge on flavour. It’s almost like the size of the place is inversely proportionate to the quality as well as the taste of the food served in this case. They specialise in seafood as the name suggests but they do great chicken and mutton dishes as well. For service last evening we had Mr. Krishna and Mr. Ghanshyam both of whom were extremely amicable and hospitable. Service was really quick And efficient. Coming to the food - taste wise, portion size wise As well as price wise - all three are a great hit. They’ve got some brilliant food being served at low pricing and has great taste. Here’s what we ate : 1. Pomfret Tawa fry - the pomfret was large in size and was really fresh. It was bathed in a red masala and then shallow fried. The masala had been soaked into the meat really well and tasted great. 2. Mutton Galawati kebab - the quintessential kebab mixed with a variety of spices that lent a creamy subdued flavour to the kebab. 3. Surmai curry - this was typically Goan style - a Spicy n tangy thin curry cooked in coconut oil. Reminded me of my days back studying in Goa. They also served it with the traditional Goan rice. 4. Mutton kalimirch masala - the Mutton was tender and the gravy was delicious. 5. Neer dosa - a perfect accompaniment to the Mutton dish. 6. Malai kulfi 7. Coconut roll - the rolls are a definite recommendation. They were a little like stuffed churros. Basically coconut barfi stuffed in pastry and then deep fried. Served with milkmaid. It was divine. Also loved the pinacolada. Worth a shot. Loved the time we had here and will definitely recommend it.

Fresh seafood.... Tried the Surnai And Pomfret Thali along with Bombil Fry. Quality of the fish was great. Really fresh. Chapati was soft so was the rice. Daal was good. But the Chana vegetable was tasteless. Try and replace it with Dry fish koshimbir. Would really add to the Thali and would cost you just at the price of chana. Fish curry was Mangalore style. A small piece of any fish would add value to it. Just a recommendation.....

This place is amazing in terms of quality and taste.. I just can't resist visiting this place again and again for the food they have to offer.. The place is not very big but they have managed it well and the decor there has also been given a mangalorean touch.. I have tried chicken and prawns pot rice, fish fry ( bombil, surmai, mandeli), prawns pepper, chicken Biryani, Prawns Biryani, chicken crispy, chicken Banjara in my numerous visit and this place has never disappointed me.. The only improvement area I would recommend is to reduce the waiting time for the food to arrive with no compromise on the quality of the food.. Highly Recommended for all the non-vegetarians out there!!

The ambience was absolutely perfect with Live music.. We ordered for Chicken satay(must try), Prawns Koliwada, Chicken ghee roast, Prawns tandoori, Cheese garlic naan, some butter naans dal khichdi n for some more side dishes with a couple of beers ... The food was just Amazing, Good taste, good quantity .. Would give a 8/10... We ordered mutton ghassi . n it was uncooked so we informed them n it was untouched ..They were kind enuf to not include that in d bill..Service is super slow at snail pace .. Price on d menu is on the reasonable side.. Overall a good place for n evening..!!!

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. Specially Fish quality was good and fresh too, but in platter quantity can be improved. It can be expensive but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out before you book. Highly recommended.
