Chef Liang & Chef Varun cook the best chinese in all of mumbai. Easily the best dim sums I ever had in the country. Identical to the ones served in michelin starred restaurants in Hong Kong/Singapore/London. This is culinary craft of the highest possible level. I highly recommend it to everyone! Maybe The Great Wall at The Leela Mumbai is also a fantastic alternative but there’s something else about Pan Asian which is significantly differentiating in a good way. Also I think it’s the prettiest restaurant at Maratha with live stations, artefacts and alcoves everywhere…

This is my second visit to the Pan Asian. I was craving some wonderful dimsums and what better place than Pan Asian at the Maratha in mumbai…Loved them all, extending special thanks to Chef Varun for making the lunch special for me. All the dim sums including the staple were cooked to perfection and had an amazing taste. The only one suggestion I can give is regarding the amount of finesse in presentation of dim sums and maybe service can be a little more involving from the server’s side. Except that, the restaurant has no flaws. It’s the prettiest restaurant in the hotel with amazing Chinese inspired decor, artefacts, paintings, a wine cellar, satellite kitchens and cozy alcoves everywhere. Chef Liang is undoubtedly the secret weapon of Pan Asian! I am very positive about the restaurant overall, it’s definitely expensive but worth visiting at least once to experience authentic Chinese fare. Culinary talent wise, I’d say this is the best in the city. Maybe in overall aspects I may prefer some other place, but Pan Asian again is one gem of a restaurant. With over 2 decades of maturity, I think they’ve learnt to get things right :) Would definitely go again for the fantastic dim sums..

I like Asian food and sushi is love.On my stay at ITC Maratha, we went to their asian restaurant Pan Asia to try some Sushi and dumplings. But the experience was not that good as I had expected. We tried sushi, dumplings and prawns. Sushi was good in taste. Dumplings were ordinary in taste, you can get that taste at any local restaurants too. And prawns were lower than average. It was too oily to eat. I didn't like it at all.

It's eccentric, magical, comforting. Elated dining experience at this award winning restaurant will ensure your love for Pan Asian cuisines will expand. Prepared by magical hands of Chef Liang Xiao, you immediately feel this is worth trying. That massive experience counts a lot, you feel it in every bite. Located @itcmaratha at ground floor, this place offers wide range of Pan Asian cuisines. Calm ambiance, soothing lighting will make you feel relaxed. You can interact with Chefs and take some recommendations, customization. Food served is blended combination of Far East countries. They use their authentic sauce and preparations. Sushi Platter - soft rice, better to dipped in different sauces to get the feel. All were best to their positions. • Double Cheese Roll • Vegetable California Roll • Crunchy Vegetable Roll • Kappa Maki Roll Raw Papaya Salad - sweet, tangy from lemon. Absolutely fresh. You feel the crunch from raw papaya. Hot Appetizer - Crystal vegetable Dumpling - you can see the stuffing inside. It's so transparent. Outer coating was very soft. I love Chilly oil used. Crispy vegetables in Thai Chilly Sauce - crisp vegetables, you feel that sauce used is authentic. Black pepper Bean Curd - Deep fried yet soft in middle section. In Mains - Exotic Vegetables in Thai Green Curry - Best dish to order with Jasmin Sticky Rice. Curry was thick and Rick and coconut blast. Vegetables made difference with nicely fragrant Jasmin Rice. Mapo Tofu - wonder how soft that Tofu was. Completely melts in mouth. Stir Fried Pok Choy and Black Mushroom with Minced Garlic - mild tasting but that flavor or Garlic changed the experience. Wok Tossed Udon Noodles with Shredded Vegetables - Noodles were thick and nicely cooked and soft as well. That wok flavor played a nice role. Dessert to end - Mango Sticky Rice - saw my favorite Alphonso mango along with sticky rice layered with coconut cream. This is an authentic dessert to order. Five Spiced Chocolate Dome - taste some berries along with chocolates. If you are a fan of western dessert. This is a must have. Magnificent Chefs will create remarkable experiences at Pan Asia @itcmaratha

Great food. pomfret fish in black bean sauce and garlic rice are my favourite. The quality, presentation, taste and ambience won’t disappoint you. The place is not very busy so you can have a quite meeting/meal/working lunch. They have an open kitchen but still it doesn’t suffocate the overall environment inside the restaurant.

We went to ITC to eat at Pan Asian, however the restaurant was closed. The chef saw us and said he can serve us food in pavilion area. Food was subpar and service was extremely slow and forgetful. We asked for a manager and no one ever came. Complete waste of time and money.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at PAN Asian, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stylish, contemporary ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The menu at PAN Asian offers a delightful fusion of flavors from across the continent, and it's evident that the chefs possess a deep understanding of the nuances and techniques required to create authentic and mouthwatering dishes. The range of options available was impressive, catering to both adventurous palates and those seeking familiar favorites. The quality of the ingredients used was exceptional, resulting in dishes that were not only visually stunning but also bursting with flavor. Each bite was a harmonious symphony of tastes and textures, showcasing the chef's skillful execution. Whether it was the tangy Thai curries, the delicate sushi rolls, or the aromatic Indian spices, every dish was an absolute delight. What truly stood out at PAN Asian was the impeccable service. The staff members were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they served. They took the time to explain the menu, make recommendations, and ensure that every guest's preferences and dietary restrictions were catered to. Their friendly demeanor and promptness added an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall dining experience. The restaurant itself exudes a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere, with thoughtfully arranged seating areas that allow for an intimate dining experience. The attention to detail in the decor and the overall ambiance created a sense of tranquility, making it the perfect place to unwind and savor a remarkable meal. In addition to the exceptional food and service, PAN Asian also offers an impressive beverage selection, including an extensive list of wines, craft cocktails, and Asian-inspired beverages. The carefully curated drink menu perfectly complements the flavors of the cuisine, further enhancing the dining experience.

Food was ok. I ordered stir fried udon, Singapore noodles, and a tofu kimchi soup. Udon was good. Singapore noodles was a bit salty. The soup was decent but was oddly missing tofu. Price was a bit high.

Ambience is pretty amazing, it gives you chill vibes and perfect if you wanna have Japanese food. I personally loved their dimsum alot it had thin layering and they look.also quiet tempting.. For tge starters we had crispy lotus stem it has a medium spicy taste , highly recommended. For mocktails they don't have much options but you can try lemonade. For desserts they have only one option which is fried noodles with ice cream not a great fan of it, need.more options
