My experience of lion safari in Sanjay Gandhi national park was good but not excellent honestly. Lion and tiger, lioness, have separate barrack ,and you will get access to them on road. it will be around 20 feet distance between you and animal. Price for single person alone - 58 rupees+ Bus traveling charge - 77.

It seems they are not enough big for wild life,as they in natural state covers a big area to wonder

It's evil to keep animals in cages and then earning money through their exploitation

There ara animal cages adjoining narrow gauge toy train track which house barking deer,spotted deer, Neelgai,peacock and peahen.These cages are easily visible while travelling in toy train,also one can view them walking by the side of tracks of train.These cages are approximately 500 metres from main gate of national park in Borivli east.

These cages are located along the Toy train Line (Van Rani) these house a few animals and birds..namely the deer, spotted deer, peacocks and peahens..we can also walk along the cages to observe the animals...the deers are definately the dominant species in this park..numbering far more than the humans that come to see them... thank you for a wonderfull experience :)

Had never seen so many deers in a cage... They were sitting a group and enjoying rain. It was such a fabulous scene...animals looked healthy and seem that the zookeeper are taking good care of them...

It is a nice place. You will get to see some lions and tigers but they charge 85 rs for 20 minutes journey. I think it is costly but if you can afford then you will enjoy.

Sanjay Gandhi park is nice place for 1day trip.It has lion safari and kanheri caves. Plus you can see the deera roaming around. You can also get the bycycle on rent.
