Nice statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It looks beautiful during sun rise. It is peaceful during sun rise due to the low traffic (road and air traffic ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ) at that time. I am so happy that I stay nearby due to which I get to see it every morning during my morning walk.

May be they intentioned it well though at it's current place it's more of roadblock than a monument. Nicely constructed however its nonfunctional role and blocking the traffic makes it to lose respect as a monument as well as great leader who it tries to commemorate. Should be removed and space should be utilized for free flowing of traffic.

It's a huge place with all the required facilities, very nice security arrangement, parking is huge you always get empty parking slots. The great thing is there are two runways, but crossing each other (X). There is no parallel runway due to lack of space. In three minutes there are two planes using the same runway. It's one of the busiest Airport.
