Very bad aquarium. I buyed one cocktail from here she was very beautiful and active, I told that I want male but after searching on Google she was female no problem,second lie - they told that she is of 11 months but when we google she was 6 months old next they told me to feed her sunflower seeds no problem we thought that they knows better than us so I trust on this store and 23 days after buying my sweet little Luna died my heart broke 💔😭😭😭😭I Google that why she died too early she was so small I found that because of feeding sunflower seeds she died these seeds should be given as a treat only few seeds should be given... It contains 30% of fat which they can't handle😭😭 their main food is millet and this store told me to feed sunflower seeds really guys they are very careless.... I found that sunflower seeds are very high in oil so cocktails can't eat.. but my big mistake was trusting on this store never buy birds from here🙏🙏😭😭😭😭😢😢 She was half tamed also I miss here so much.I would let her fly in her nature,but I didn't know that she is not feeling well.💎💎💎😢😢😢 don't buy anything from this aquarium...they don't have any knowledge and they don't give proper information..

The Aquarium is a quite boutique as many varieties of fishes, Love birds and imported feeding stuff along with Fish tank accessories available for Turtles and Fishes. We visited this place for a UV-B lamp for our turtle, the owner upsell the ceramic holder too which was definitely worth buying it. Most of all everything you buy there has an international pricing as he(shop owner) feels he is the only one providing supplies of unique fishes and accessories at a reasonable rate again this is what he probably thinks and Makes a monopoly out of it. Not so customer centric not At all Pet Centric!

Awesome place, all tanks were so neat and clean. All tanks were having crystal clear water, which means maintenance done is good, filtration is good, all fish in good health! They almost had everything I asked for. They also had variety of fishes even Lseries Plecos!! They had TC as well as Loose plant pots. Planted Tanks were in good state when I visited. Was little crowded during our visit. Owner was very friendly. Overall good place for aquarium needs.

I have been buying my aquarium requirements from this shop since last 3-4 years. They keep most of the exotic live stock, aquarium plants, driftwood, rocks, filters and other accessories . The live stock is of good quality and kept in well maintained aquarium set-ups. The staff is helpful. I don't remember the owner's name (never asked) however he is very knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices area a bit high compared to other shops in the area but it is OK when you get quality products in return. They don't cheat the customers by selling infected live stock.

Hands down my favourite aquatic store in mumbai and for good reasons. They actually care about their fish. You know how people say you cant do business with things you care about? The owner Rajan will prove you wrong. They quarantine the fish, teach you the importance of acclimating before you even ask, and even refused to sell me an expensive type because they wanted to make 100% sure the new addition was disease free. I never understood the importance of quarantine until buying from a local store in hyderabad for my mothers tank, where my entire planted tank got ruined because of whitespot disease from unquarantined fish(all my fish died despite expensive treatments) Aakar has varieties hard to find in any of the other stores in borivali, the tanks are super clear to look at, and if for nothing go have a look at the display tanks! Yes prices are slightly higher than other stores but the quality is way better.

Aakar aquarium makes awesome fish tank. Finishing is class and have not found any other fish tanks better then this in aquarium market. The person out there guides us properly and shares knowledge on how to maintain fish tank. It is one of the best aquarium shop. Fishes price are also very reasonable and fishes health condition is great. I will recommend my friends family to visit Aakar aquarium and make fish tanks from them.
