its an hidden jam in middle of the city. we went during the monsoon i can say its the best time to visit this place. p.s- if u wanna visit here than come from khandoba temple way (ghatkopar). its hardly 15 mins more trek from there.

Ghatkopar Hills. A little forest situated on top of the hills and surrounded by urban population of Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Powai & chandivali. Feels really pleasant to spend time there. Could be a good nature preserve if govt take it seriously. Best time to visit is monsoon. Slums, politicians and builders are ruining this beautiful place.

Good place for trekkers! Worth visiting in monsoon. Well maintained. If you're lucky enough you'll able to hear different birds sound so be careful whenever you go there.

The entry point to horse shoe valley from Powai side has been gated off at the top (last 700mts) so one can only climb half way up the trail from Castle Rock. It's a good walk nonetheless and quite steep (~20 floors as per Fitbit). The path is quite pretty right now with bright Bougainville and expansive view of Powai and Airoli creek on both sides but is also littered with trash in few places, can def be maintained better. Apparently the other route from khandoba temple ghatkopar takes one right upto the top i.e. horse shoe point, Google maps doesn't show this path tho.
