We
saw
a
Dharavi
so
different
from
what's
portrayed
in
movies
or
social
media
Or
even
by
word
of
mouth.
Its
industries
-
recycle,
leather,
garment,
pottery,
the
markets,
the
residential
areas,
the
locals.
Actually
walked
through
different
lanes
and
streets
which
may
be
normally
unfamiliar
to
outside
guides
or
curious
tourists.
The
beauty
of
this
tour
was
that,
our
guide
was
a
student
who
actually
lives
in
Dharavi.
His
tour
was
therefore
not
a
mechanical
and
a
rote
commentary
but
a
narration
filled
with
emotion
and
something
that
was
from
the
heart,
of
a
place
he
has
lived
and
grown
up
in.
His
keenness
to
portray
the
real
Dharavi,
the
sincerity
with
which
he
took
us
through
the
various
aspects
of
the
tour
and
the
immense
knowledge
with
which
he
patiently
paused
the
tour
and
answered
every
question
that
me
Or
my
French
friend
asked
him,
were
commendable.
We
came
out
with
an
enriched
and
enlightened
mind,
after
having
seen
and
experienced,
albeit
for
couple
of
hours,
what
the
locals
live
through
day
after
day.
We
are
immensely
grateful
to
Mumbai
Magic
and
to
our
guide
Waris
for
making
this
day
so
memorable
and
delightful.
It
was
a
well
curated
tour
as
it
was
amazing
how
much
they
packed
in
a
2
-2.
5
hours
tour
time.
Thank
you.
We
will
definitely
be
recommending
this
tour
and
this
guide
to
our
friends,
domestic
or
overseas.
More
than
foreigners
it
is
so
important
that
we
Indians
learn
about
this
significant
part
of
our
population
and
clear
misconceptions
or
preconceived
notions,
if
any.
Thank
you
again.
