This is the best restaurant around this area. Since its always crowded you might have to share the seats which is on ground. Table ones might not require. Service is good. Someone is always there to help you out. Food is great. You will always end up eating extra and they also help us customize food. Try sizzlers they are good. 930pm is kitchen closing time so make sure you place order

Delightful South Indian Experience** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mango Tree Restaurant in Hampi, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant exudes a charming ambiance with its rustic decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The South Indian cuisine here is nothing short of exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch menu, which featured a delectable array of authentic dishes bursting with flavors. The flavors were rich, and the spices were perfectly balanced, providing a true taste of South India. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations. What sets Mango Tree apart is not just the food but also the breathtaking view it offers. The outdoor seating provides a scenic backdrop, making the dining experience even more memorable. Overall, Mango Tree Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic South Indian culinary adventure with top-notch service. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Hampi. ---

Mango Tree Restaurant - A Hampi Gem! Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: The North Indian Meals were a delight, showcasing excellence in every dish. The Gobhi Manchurian stood out as one of the best I've ever had. Each item on the limited menu was exceptional, and the Mango Lassi was not only tasty but also satisfying. The Bonaffee Pie was the perfect sweet ending, a must-try at this restaurant. Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: The cool, tree-filled setting exudes good vibes, providing a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The well-thought-out sitting arrangements add to the overall charm of the place. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: The exceptional service and courteous staff made the dining experience memorable. Prompt and attentive, the waiters contributed positively to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Pricing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: While slightly on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience justifies the cost. The delectable flavors and serene ambience make it a worthwhile investment. Tip: Visit during non-peak hours to avoid crowds and potential delays in service. Overall, Mango Tree Restaurant is a must-visit in Hampi, offering a delightful fusion of excellent food, serene ambience, and top-notch service. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is a charming spot, free from any pretense, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere..The fairly extensive vegetarian menu caters to diverse tastes, offering a delightful fusion of Indian, continental, and even Israeli cuisine.. The staff deserves commendation for their courteous and efficient service, contributing to a positive dining experience..The food, both tasty and generously portioned, aligns well with mid-range pricing, making it a reasonable choice for a satisfying meal..If you find yourself in Hampi, this restaurant is a good go-to option, offering a blend of flavors and friendly service.. 🍽️🌿

Big spacious place with huge open parking. You have the option to either sit on table or couch. The food was average if you compare with any big city food but in compare to what we are getting in Hampi, this is way better. Bamboo tree and wooden setting and huge photo space. People were polite and service was okay. No Bill was provided and they were only accepting cash, No UPI or card.

Food Is not for Regular indians since most of the items in their menu are for foreigners. Our regular super tasty South Indian dishes are absent . Cost is on the higher side. Better go further on the same small lane which offer tasty indian fare at a fraction of its cost. The ambience of the hotel is average. Summing up it can be totally avoided.

A quaint place without any airs. Fairly large vegetarian menu, covering Indian, continental, and even Israeli food. Staff is courteous, helpful, and fast. Food was tasty, and portions served are pretty large, and prices are mid range. Good place to go to whilst in Hampi.

Well, the location was something which I would think could have been better but apart from that, the ambience, the arrangements, the food quality, the taste and the quantity was all great. The service was fast. The food menu was very limited, but I think thats the best as they already gave some combo and that is what most people would look for. So, it saves us from thinking a lot on combos. Italian, Israeli, North Indian and South Indian. I tried South Indian and Italian and both were great.

Very popular veg restaurant in Hampi. Their veg South Indian thali as well as north Indian thali is a hit among visitors. Shakes, juices, and desserts also served here. During peak hours specially at lunch there is some wait due to over crowded.

As most of the eateries are vegetarian (with the exception of egg) in Hampi, this restaurant is no different. Loved the cozy ambiance, good food, and polite staff. The food is yummy and priced cheap. They have different menu for breakfast with a lot of options. They have cottages for stay as well, although I didn't use that, but they looked nice from outside. The restaurant has half seating on the floor (cushioned), and half is on table-chairs. Ample parking. We loved it... didn't think I'll say that for a vegetarian eatery.

I and my family had our meals here for three days when we visited Hampi in June 2023. Excellent service and the food is really good. The service is also excellent. The management was very friendly and paid attention to our needs for preparing the food. Highly recommended if you are in Hampi.

The detour from Hampi to this restaurant was worth it. It's tasty, it's clean (the first time I see in India someone cleaning properly the tables, the floor and the benches), the portions are very generous and the price is just like the other restaurants around. They prepared everything not spicy (as requested, while other restaurants never follow the requests) and we were delighted by the food

Unbelievably good. Amazing food. More than the food they are just amazing hosts, they smile and serve that's the biggest thing. Some fantastic music in the background, we went on a hot summer afternoon, tired and really exhausted, they just turned around our entire groups experience (we were 28 of us) just with their service and food. Would highly recommend

An amazing vegetarian restaurant about 300 metres from the Virupaksha temple. Seating arrangements are provided in a unique manner. The ambience is good and it's very hygienic. Floors will be mopped frequently. The food is delicious and the servers are polite. The approach to the restaurant is not so good. Prices are too high.

Pretty decent food - not spectacular, but the best in the area according to locals. I got the South Indian Thali which had a good combo of dal, curd, two sabji, chapathi and papadum - all excellent. For dessert I got the Banofee pie - nothing like the British version, but decent and worth trying. The vibe is the best aspect of the place; floor mat seating and lots of fans make it a great place to beat the heat.

When our auto/ tourist guide told us about Mango Tree, we thought it would be like a posh restaurant. However, this does give very home type vibes. Elderly people would enjoy the authentic south indian food taste here. We ordered their thali and it was quite filling and reasonable. They have options for other cuisines too, but we didnt try that so not sure about the taste.

It seems this restaurant is too hyped up. The original restaurant caught fire a month ago and now it is shifted to Hampi Inn. I was also told that the owners have split. The food is of average quality and the taste isn't that great either. The price is reasonable but the menu has limited varieties. North Indian food doesn't taste authentic. We ordered a sizzler and it was terrible. Egg Biryani was okaish. There are many good restaurants in Hampi. I would not recommend this place.

Ambience - Very beautiful, calm set up, especially at night with similar flute music that accompanies well. You can even sit on the floor with nice cushion. Food - Everything we ordered were delicious. Paneer Chilly had great sauce, Manchurian Kofta blended together great with subtle but delicious gravy. Mouth watering pie and lip smacking mango Lassi for desserts were too good.

Its been more than 1 year since i visited this place still the experience is unforgettable for me. Atmosphere of the place is amazing. Especially their seating arrangement.(floor sitting) I think this is the best place for authentic South Indian thali. Masala chhas is a must try drink. Taste is best like home made meal. Great ambience & service, Staff is very humble. Loved the hospitality . Must visit place when u are in humpi !

What a lovely place man! It’s just few metres away from virupaksha temple. They have Indian sitting (baithak) so we have to remove our shoes outside. Both breakfast and meal options are delicious and worth trying. They are bit costlier. Hippie ambience, great food.

Food is not good... ordered South Indian thali which is very bad. Came here after seeing the reviews and instagram posts. But seems to be overhyped. Better go for small restaurants/ hotels that offer better quality and tasty food.

It’s now relocated to a new place called Mango Inn. Such a lousy restaurant which is overpriced beyond belief. Absolutely nothing to write about. Skip it. I’ve been visiting this place since many years and it was disheartening to see it go down the bad path. The lassi I ordered was just curd mixed with water (without any sugar). The staff are stubborn and won’t take any feedback. I hope this place gets back in good shape.

It was a filling lunch with a banana to spare . However the prices were competitive. The taste, nothing to complain. Loved the decor and ambience. It was crowded that day. The catering was more active towards the family/ group audience than solo/ single travellers. Likely might explore different dishes next time.

Great vibe, relaxing atmosphere. The thalis are good (lunch time)but when we went back next day for dinner, we were disappointed because food was not freshly prepared. Ordered paneer dish and karahi vegetables. Banoffee pie was sub standard. Wish they would serve local sweets. However, there are very few places to eat in Hampi, and this is okay.

Mango Tree is a traditional restaurant with very peaceful vibes. The food we ordered was yummy. The South indian thali with the traditional pappu and rasam was just too good. The mango tree special mix veg curry, their mango lassi and all other food we ordered was also too yumm. The banoffee pie was having a different taste, good if you are someone who enjoys trying new things for your pallet, otherwise not suggested.

This was the best restaurant /cafe in Hampi that we experienced. The service was faster than expected...hardly we ordered n the food was served. And to say the least, it was so delicious that we had to come back for dinner. Everything we ordered was amazing, fairly priced with an amazing vibe and ambiance. To top it all, the employees had such an amicable smile 😊. Would recommend this one for the Hampi trip anyone has. ❤️ recommending everything, thalis, any gravy, even pizza or hummus platter 🤗

The food was good. It's the only good restaurant we could find in Hampi during our stay there. The others had closed down. You need to remove your shoes outside. They have 2 sections. One was a bit dark and had a lot of religious pictures the other was well lit. They had options to sit on a normal table or on the floor cushions and low tables. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Indian/ Lebanese food I tried was tasty. It's a vegetarian restaurant like all the other restaurants in Hampi.

Seriously I never thought of such a good restaurant in such a small place. Well maintained restaurant with good veg food. Though it looks more of dhaba kind of a feel, but mark my words you will not regret after getting inside. Most importantly it will be very hugely crowded during peak lunch hours

Visited this restaurant during hampi visit. This is must visit place for a meal. There are different options on the menu but we settled for South Indian Thali which was very good decision indeed. Thali consists of chapati, 2 vegetables, dal, rice, shikran ( banana with milk), curd and rice. They serve 2 chapatis. Taste of each and every item in thali was very good. They have table as well as ground seating arrangements. We opted ground seating as it was more comfortable. Service was very quick and prompt. Overall, highly recommended place for a meal in hampi.

Amazing food. Loved the food, ambience and experience here! Don't miss his sizzlers! Best part is all items are VEG stuff. He has well maintained toilets also. Food is on expensive side and it cost us approx 500 per person.

This has to be the best restaurant around Kamlapur . We went there for lunch after a tiring day and believe me the food was the best and most authentic . The place gave proper welcoming vibes with the whole setup and the staff were super amiable . The mango lassi deserves nothing but a 10 star maybe

Decent place. Maintained cleanliness and fast service. We has south and North Indian thali in lunch. There were more items on North Indian Thali and hence the price is at highet side. Overall good taste and one cab try.

(Nov 23)Taste wise its good, we tried north indian thali (320Rs) & mango lassi which was extremely good, suggest not to miss the lassi. Price is slightly on higher side but the ambience and hospitality compensates for it. Overall satisfied ❤️

Delicious food, we went both days during our Hampi visit. Recommend: Veg biryani, gobi manchurian, chilli paneer Both south and north indian thali's were also good Coffee is with a machine so not as fresh. Masala chai and mango lassi is better

This restaurant is very close by to the Lord Virupaksha temple. Food quality is not good, Over priced and over hyped place. Food is average and nothing excellent about it. The ambiance is so good, a hippie feel, the music just goes with the crowd. 3 stars only for the vibe and ambiance..!

Hampi is the place I would love to visit again and again .. I have never seen such honest and helpful people till now as there were in hampi .. the owner of mango tree restaurant were letting us go without even paying when we were unable to pay them online due to network issue and not carrying enough cash .. we encountered many such genuine people in hampi in our 2 day trip .. God bless all of them 🙏 .. BTW I had visited there 4 years ago in 2018.

This restaurant is with name of "Hampi Inn" in kamalapara and not near Hampi Temple. Food quality is not good. I think there are no other better options available for lunch/dinner apart from this place in Kamalapura area so they are taking the food quality and service for granted. We chosed to sit down on mat but it was too dirty and full of dust.
