A very pretty church with the characteristic onion domes of the Eastern Orthodox religion. It was built by the Russians when they controlled Warsaw in the 19th century. At the time it was the tallest church in the Praga district.

It opened in 1869, serving the needs of a growing community of Russians settling in the area of present-day Praga Północ. During the Second Republic, the cathedral became one of two free-standing Orthodox churches in Warsaw, which were not destroyed or adapted for other purposes. It is the main Polish Orthodox Church. The cathedral is also the cathedral for the Diocese of Warsaw-Bielsk.

A beautiful Russian Orthodox church in the Praga district of Warsaw. Definitely worth seeing. Parking here is problematic. It is better to walk a few meters.

Very peaceful place with a perfect approach to the people

I was with my family not so long ago, but in the lower temple! A divine atmosphere, a blessed place, very quiet and peaceful. There are chairs on which you can sit and immerse yourself in prayer and communication with God!

Beautiful Cathedral! A must visit place in Warsaw!

We went and looked inside. It was very beautiful but it felt wrong/disrespectful to be there, so we left. Also, despite previous reviewers taking pictures, there are clear signs saying no photos allowed inside
