Some of staffs, especially the tall one with black hair who was at the reception about 10 in the morning on Friday, 21, Oct was so arrogant and cheeky. She said 'I dont want to talk anymore' after 30 seconds conversation when i ask if its possible to change my room as i have a little issue with my knee to climb up to upper capsule. I did not expect bright smile or fluent english but she must not cut off the conversation in that way without even looking at me. Cheap accommodation does not mean that the staff can be rude to the customers as what they get paid for is not cheap! I am writting this review with my valuable time to avoid any more victim of racism as they tend to look down Asians! Please be aware that you have enough battery on your mobile phone to have torch light as when there is blackout, your roller door that is opened by remote controller will not be opened so you should get out using emergency latches or stay in the dark and cramped capsule until its fixed(There was blackout when i woke up at around 7:20am on Sat, 22, Oct and i felt disgruntled as there was no light, door could not be opened until i found the emergency latches and finally open the roller door). No apology afterward!

Great option for a solo traveller, I much preferred it to a normal hostel as I appreciate the extra privacy. Pros: spacious capsules, privacy, plenty of showers and toilets. Great value for money compared to a private single room. Cons: the capsule doors make noise when opening/closing - not much but just enough to be a little annoying. Also a bit of a pain that you have to swap your shoes for slippers whenever you enter/leave the building. Both these negatives were small for me and I still had a good night’s sleep!

It was a really cool experience to sleep in a capsule! The place felt very spacious, clean and modern, and the staff is really friendly. The capsule room is a silent area, but since there are 120+ capsules in the same space you can always hear people walking around or searching in their luggage (you can get earplugs at the reception if this bothers you). It was also quite cold in the capsule room. However since everyone was a isolated in their own capsule, it didn't feel very sociable so I prefer to stay at a regular hostel. I'm happy I tried this though!

GOOD The hostel is very clean and centrally located. All showers and toilets etc worked fine The lady on the desk with red hair was very friendly and efficient. NEEDS IMPROVING These capsules are not like other capsule hostels and look more like a storage facility (but for humans!). That said there is space and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, my capsule was faulty - despite closing it before I went out, every time I came back to find it open (number 117). I reported this to the front desk. 116 and 115 also had issues. While I was packing my bag I even saw 115 open by itself once. This is not good for security. You have to take off your shoes and swap for slippers every time you come in, and then when you go out again. I know it is to keep the place clean but can get annoying and also time consuming, especially if there is only one receptionist and she is busy. Also, every time you go to the toilet or through another door you need your key fob or to press a button. I know this is for security but once in the building/rooms toilets should be more easily accessible. When I checked out, I asked if they could look after my bag for an hour and I was charged 5 zloty for this. Not a lot but a bit annoying. Also when I made my booking it said towels were included but when I arrived I was charged 7 zloty. This seems to have been updated on the phone app now, but again annoying. There is no atmosphere here at all - no social events or anything going on.

Really nice and clean. The staff really try to keeps everything nice and clean. No joking, it's really clean. The location also pretty nice, near the renting bike station, bus station, metro station, and tram station. Also near from the city center The staff also manage the supply like paper towel and hand sanitizer, so you don't need to afraid of it. The man and woman toilets are separated. So the ladies can have their time peacefully. The living room is super comfy, no kidding. They speak a good English, more than understandable. The staff really try their best. The discomfort might be come from your neighbor. Not everyone as clean and calm as you. It would be a nightmare if your neighbor is a middle age man with loud snoring or just nasty man that leave the garbage right in the hallway. The staff tries to manage it, but some issues just out of their control. Overall, it's very good, and I willing to comeback to this hotel.

Everything is perfect, if you want to sleep in peace and cleanliness for cheap, this is the address I recommend. The beds and common areas are very clean, the hotel offers full service, they offer breakfasts, shower products. The hygiene concept is very original, shoes must be left at the entrance and you will be given slippers at reception. Honestly TOP. In addition, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

The place is super clean. During my stay everyone was quiet and I was able to sleep very well. They provide ear plugs. I was worried about feel claustrophobic, but I slept like a baby.

This was a neat experience! Pros: The capsules are clean, cozy and well designed. They are also ventilated. The room is kept very cool which is conducive to better sleep but can certainly get chilly. There is a code of silence in the capsule room. The restrooms and shower rooms were also pretty clean. Separate bathrooms and separate shower compartments for men and women. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. I do like that they kept to the Polish custom of not wearing outside shoes in the rooms, keeping things sanitary. There is a little outside balcony between the 1st and 2nd floors to take a phone call or have a smoke. Great location, walkable. Cons: they should work out a better system of shoes/slipper retrieval. There was one staff person there checking in new guests and a line of people also waiting to get their shoes. Waiting 15 minutes for your shoes is a little ridiculous. Same with coming back. A few times I was tempted to just remove my shoes and walk in my socks (carrying my shoes) than wait to check in my shoes. Make sure the counter is appropriately staffed or think up a better system. It is good to create an effort to save water, however be aware that the shower expresses water for exactly 10 seconds at a time. You have to continuously push a valve to start it going again. In a separate shower, the timer was set to only 6 seconds. Just extending the timer to 20 or 30 seconds would result in a less annoying experience if you are washing hair, shaving, etc.

I was attracted to this hostel after having stayed at a similar hostel in Dublin and I enjoyed it there but here not so much. The capsules are clean and you are provided with earplugs, shower gel, schampo and towel. Showers and bathrooms are pristine and were kept very clean but the thing I dont like about this hostel is that the atmosphere feels stiff and uninviting. I know this hostel are meant for travellers that enjoys peace and quiet but the only room for any socializing was in the small lobby and there were no encouragement to meet new people (or atleast make an attempt). You have to remove your shoes when going up to the capsules but they give you slippers but it is a bit of nuisance if youre a smoker, wheter its cigarettes or vape. Location was kind of obscure, even my polish friend thought the street was a joke. This hostel is good for 1 or 2 nights but not for longer stay and perfect for introvert people. Next time Im in Warsaw, I'll choose something with a more inviting atmosphere and where I could meet new people.

One of the best hostels I’ve been to. The staff was very kind and helping. They know how to speak english pretty well. It is a very clean hostel, you even have to take your shoes off. Overall it was an amazing experience and one of the best sleeps I ever had. Highly recommend.

They threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn't respond to an email that they sent while I was travelling. Beds are really hard, and the pods are really loud (I could hear people all night through my headphones).

Beautiful place! The service is amazing, girls at the reception speak Polish, English and Ukrainian! They are really kind and nice there. The hostel had a little hall near the reception, you can rest there, heat your food, which you can leave in a little fridge. It's a bit inconvenient that it is like at the same room where reception is, because when you check in, you need to take off and leave your shoes in a box and take a pair of slippers, and it seems like you bother people who may eat nearby. There's no elevator, so you'll need to carry your baggage on the 4th floor. Then you stay at the perfect mini room with a softest mattress, a pillow and a blanket, and even with a little shelf at the corner! Showers and toilets are clean and convenient. I had a perfect rest after loooong road. Thank you, Kapsula Hostel ❤️🙏

For what they are they are really good. I travel to the capital every week and I use the capsules as emergency place for one I forget too book a cheap hotel, when I just want to spend single night in Warsaw. You have to be really quiet in the capsules. Which is nice when you want to sleep. Hard to do anything more than just read book or watch something quick on headphones.

Nice place to stay, cheap, had no issues. But be aware that noise isolation isn’t great, if u don’t have a deep sleep maybe staying there won’t be comfortable. Location is very good.

If you're prepared to walk, there are plenty of very interesting and exciting local attractions and amenities. The local metro transport system is truly something to behold and enjoy with tickets ranging from all transport systems to timed ticket options for different zones and types of travel experience(s). Equivalent costs of about £0.60 for 20 minutes of journey time up to:- day, week and monthly options. Unless you find yourself in the middle of the sticks, most people in Warsaw are bilingual (Polish and English), Incredible country with beautiful people ❤️ Try the national dish of Pierogi too!!! And most importantly, enjoy Poland and be yourself!

I personally prefer capsules than hostel, since there is a lot more privacy so you are truly having a place of your own. Their capsule is very decent, with two charging socket, a dimmable light, and ventilation (which I think is the best feature of all especially in summer). The entire hostel is clean and cozy, with lots of toilets and showering areas. The check-in process is hassle-free, and their staff is very friendly. If you are travelling by yourself and you would love to have a tiny private space to rest after a long day out, this is the best place you can find in Warszawa at this price point.

It's different to other hostels. You still can connect in the main room downstairs. The boxes are really quiet, clean and if you want to be for yourself it's really good. The luggage space could be a bit bigger, but it was ok. The service was really good and it was the cleanest hostel I ever been.

Very nice hostel. The capsules are very modern and have all the equipment you need inside. The sound instalation isn't the best but that wasn't very a problem as everyone was very quiet. You have to put your shoes at the reception and get some slippers for that. There are lots of showers, toilettes and sinks definitely more than needed what is very nice. Staff was nice and the wifi was working great. There isn't a big community room but I don't think that's necessary so no big issue. The location is in a courtyard so it's very quiet and you here no cars or people at all. But it's still very central so you reach the city center in round about 5 walking minutes.

Clean, close to everything. Slept well because there’s more privacy and you wont get bothered if the lights are turned on. The only downside is that there’s no lift in the building. So if you have heavy luggages or bad feet and knees (like myself) better be ready as the capsule rooms are on the 3rd floor. Shower rooms are on the second floor.

I like the concept of capsule hostels as they give me privacy and I generally sleep better in them. This one has a great location (not far from the metro and main sights) and very friendly staff. They speak Polish, English and Ukrainian (maybe even more languages). The first night I had a small problem with the A/C (it was too strong in my capsule), but the ladies on the check-in desk were very helpful and told me how to fix it. The bathrooms may need more thorough cleaning, though.

It was a nice experience! A proof that all you need for a good sleep is silence + comfortable bed! The place was clean and well arranged (more tha enough toilets, showers etc). The location is perfect. The girl on reception was very friendly, cute and also knew some words in my language.

I liked it. Capsules are clean, reasonably secure, and big enough for a couple of big bags plus my large self. Showers and washing machines worked fine, as did the wifi. Note: footwear gets checked at the counter in exchange for flimsy slippers. This is not terrible unless you are wearing lace up boots. Other note: do not bring romance into your Capsule. Privacy is not included.

Amazing place! Really clean, friendly staff with the option to buy towels and toiletries if needed. You will asked at your entrance to change your shoes to sleepers provided on the site which you can always keep later. Hair dryer are available at the girls bathroom. Spacious rooms and capsules with light and two sockets to charge your phone and pc. Lockers could be a bit bigger but you could always put your luggage at the side corridors. + Free chocolate waffle (polish brand-really good).😋✅👍

-very nice and welcoming and polite staffs. -So clean -Safe --the doors of capsules are annoying at night bcz there are a lot of capsules next to each other's and are deploying and retracting. -capsules are not sounds proof -the capsules exactly next to the corridor are so annoying because everyone who's walking you can here! there are some automatic lights and also some grooves on the door of capsules so light bothers you and you should cover your face. I was on cap25. -It was cold at night during my stay!!!

Perfect place to stay. For most travelers, what else do you need? Not luxurious, but it's clean, quiet, safe, and a simple place to lay your head at night. Very cozy during a cold rainy winter visit! If you are like me and spend most of your day on the move, then you really don't need anything more than the capsule hotel. Be aware that large luggage will not fit in the locker, so if you want it secured, it gets put all the way downstairs in the lobby behind the front desk.

First off all, It's a hostel, not a hotel, I'll think people have to know the difference, you can't expect the luxury of a hotel. Nevertheless, it was very good for its price, nice staff at the desk, quick and easy check-in & check-out, comfortable capsule, very central hostel. Next time when I'm in Warsaw I'll visit again 👍

Quite an interesting idea for a hostel. I think I prefer this to traditional hostels. If you just need a place to sleep - it's great. There's a lot of small, possibly annoying details. Like the light switch is at the back of the capsules. So if you crawled out and left the lights on... you have to crawl back in to turn it off. If you care. I do. I struggled to get to the top capsule, maybe I was doing it wrong 😅

Mixed feelings about this stay. It's very very clean, with lots of showers and toilets, around 150 pods, lockers provided and the pods are clean, quiet and have locks and power sockets. The sleeping area is 24/7 quiet zone and it's enforced. Location is 15 min walk to the old town and 20 minutes walk to central station. Tons of restaurants nearby and convenience stores. Airport bus 175 stops nearby. Service is fantastic and super helpful/friendly. So why the 3 stars? The kitchen has no hotplate or cooking facilities. That's kinda unbelievable so a hostel with so many guests. There is a micro & kettle only. The lobby has some sofas to relax on. The pod was too cold to be comfortable, it needs some heating. And the pillow is too flat, I woke up with terrible neck pain. It's not a social hostel (I didn't want) so if you want to meet people this isn't the place for you. It's good for a place to have a quiet sleep and to safely keep your stuff while in Warsaw. Towels available to rent as is shampoo and additional lockers. The lockers aren't very big. The kitchen has tea available but no coffee ( need to purchase it). Also odd not to provide instant coffee. Very fast wifi.

overall we loved the beds - super comfy, clean & cosy - but spacious at the same time. only issue was that we selected a double bed on the website - we had never experienced this type of accommodation and when we arrived they told us that they didn't have double beds and we'd have to pay 3x the amount we already paid to buy another bed. this was super annoying as wasn't clear on website but we really really enjoyed our stay & the location so still gets 4 stars⭐️

  • 4/5 Ata U. 1 year ago on Google
TLDR: -I recommend, give it a try. -Ask or book for deluxe room if you gonna take a shower. -Get bottom side. -Get earplugs from reception. -Check if your door closes properly some gets light. -You're gonna leave your shoes and get a free cheap looking slipper. -Try to make the receptionist girl smile(she looks pretty cute when she smiles 😇) -Join party tour. -Get double bed if you're a couple and wanna sleep together or get 2 capsule and risk it 😏(queen bed is not capsule style) Detailed Review: First of all location is awesome, they offer too many options but alas they don't inform everyone about them. Shave kit is expired and no slipper for men. I recommend going for premium room which is same but they offer coffe, shampoo and some other things. Also there is deluxe kit option which they say same price if you get separately but it's not. I'm glad they exchanged the shaving kit with orange juice and asked me if I still want to keep the kit and also gave the change between them. The girl at the reception is too kind but can't hear well if you don't speak a bit loud. Ceiling is a bit awkward. It's hard to get in to top side due to poor climbing steps. You get a remote controller. Doors open quite well with your nfc key. Room gets light from outside because first 4 strip of jalousie is not closing well also feels pretty cheap. One side is marble one is wooden and the door is metal(why are we here just to suffer 😂) . Internet is fast, toilet and bathroom is clean. You gotta press the water button every 20 SECOND when taking a shower. Weak hair dryers. Changing the temperature is a pain in the neck also pressing the button repeatedly at shower makes me mad. It's pretty quite at capsules but I still recommend to get earplugs from the reception. Talking, listening music loud, etc not allowed at around the capsules. Two charging port, two hanger and a small hotel type locker available. A bit overpriced capsule prices. I would come here again if I were with friends. They offer free coffe if you share your staying. They have emergency exit handles if you get stuck so don't worry. They also offer a very generous and humble discount for monthly stay which I can't really accept A total 10% I was planning to stay for a month but this amount of discount may bankrupt em 🤭 Place is very well ventilated and you can learn how to put on a tie at the restroom. Bathrooms are separated but not the capsule rooms. You can buy food, drinks and self clean kits, they are not overpriced, also you can rent a scooter or play bilardo which are around 20 zloty. Bed is clean, everywhere is clean in the hostel. You can rent a towel for around 7 zloty. Paid washing and drying service around 20 zloty paid seperately. I believe two lover can stay at the same capsule very easily its that big but im sure they won't allow it. At lobby they got a TV and desks you can put your pc or just chill. It's not japanese quality but almost worth the money.

An amazing experience, I always love Capsule Hostels and this was no exception, a little strange when you swap your shoes for slippers (that they provide) but a lovely place to stay, the facilities were great, the staff were super helpful ( Like when one in my group’s door had some issues and they quickly swapped him into another bed ) the lockers were great and I had a great night’s sleep in my little storage locker. Not just a gimmicky hostel - very clean and very nice.

Absolutely amazing but the air condition is too strong. The bed was very comfortable. There is a personal light and a socket. All people need to wear slippers, given at the reception. There is a small kitchen with a microwave and a veeeery small fridge. A chance to get a free place there is very small.

This hostel is amazing! I travel to Warsaw a lot of times, and for now it’s the best for me in the city center. Great location. The reception is working 24h, I checked in at 2am. The place to sleep (capsule) was very comfortable, it looks like hotel, not hostel, the bed is very nice too. Everything is ideally clean, tidy, new, well organised. The receptionists are very friendly and professional. Strongly recommend for everyone except of the people with claustrophobia :) What I would add is wider range of food to buy on reception. Thanks for the hospitality, I will definitely return!

A really unique experience for anyone wanting to explore capsule accommodation. Very reasonably priced for the standard of facilities & helpfulness of staff. The only thing I would want more of is bigger lockers for luggage. Considering the size you of the place that’s not really possible so I can’t complain about that. All in all it is probably the best place for a solo traveller to stay on a budget in Warsaw 👍

This is a good practical place to stay in case you need to stay at a cheap place. It was pretty quite and you had some privacy in the capsules given that you stay with a lot of people. It is clean as well. Preparing in the morning is a chore but better than other hostels where people think socializing is more of a priority than accommodation.

  • 5/5 Beatriz A. 1 year ago on Google
I always choose this hostel when visiting Warsaw. It's quiet, clean and cheap. People are nice (both guests and employees) and the capsules are cozy. The only minus for me is that everytime you want to go out or back in you need to ask the front desk to give you your shoes/slippers back. The location is also amazing, right in city center.

My recent encounter with Kapsula Hostel made me dissatisfied and disappointed. Never have I ever been treated so coldly. Before the winter holidays, I reserved a capsule for my stay this year, since I have this thing in Warsaw to deal with, but something came up at the exact same date I had the accommodation reserved. I urgently wrote an email regarding the cancellation. I wrote 2 emails - one was about a minor staying there without any guardian (every parent is concerned about their children), which by the way has never been answered, even though it is kind of an important matter, and the second was about the cancellation. The staff apologised and told me they refunded the stay in the form of a voucher. That made me confused, so I replied asking why exactly a voucher and not money, considering that I kind of need the money in the ‘money’ form. What they told me was that they gave me a refund in the form of a voucher - no explanation why, whatsoever. Believe me, I even looked for the rules and conditions, but guess what. They were nowhere to be found. Despite multiple attempts to seek clarification, the staff's responses were not only unhelpful but also confusing. And giving me an apology for not helping in any way? Why would I even expect such a thing… It has been 2 hours now of dealing with it and they seem not to understand basic English knowledge because they keep answering my questions, talking about a whole other topic and giving me very confusing instructions of what to do next. It also takes such a long time for them to give me ONE.SIMPLE.ANSWER. I will try to reserve it again, since I have no other choice and despite needing the money urgently. Soon, I will also write a review about the accommodation overall.
