The sundial at the New Orangery on a round square, at the intersection of alleys. It is a contemporary bronze sculpture, placed in 2012. Its author is Adam Myjak, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. The clock hand (gnomon) is a slender figure resembling a man who, instead of a head, has a high cone sticking upwards. The circular square on which the sculpture stands is the horizontal face of this clock. Roman numerals are embedded in the ground, in an ellipse shape. However, there are no lines marking the hours. This clock refers to analemmatic sundials in which the hand is movable, often a person positioned in the center of the dial. Such clocks decorate many gardens and parks around the world. One of them is located in the garden of Herkenrode Abbey in Hasselt (Belgium).

A clock with hours marked on the ground, with a gnomon in the form of a sculpture.

A beautiful clock, strangely carved, still shows the exact time.
