An amazing hostel! It’s not amazingly designed or anything like some modern hostels but it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. Receptionists especially are always really nice and helpful, and it feels very safe here. Only problem is that the beds are quite creaky and there are a LOT of insects - probably due to the summer but there are so many that I wish they would install mesh screens in the windows. I’ve even gotten an insect bite while sitting in the common area. There is also one thing that is keeping me from being happy staying here despite how great and clean it is - and that’s the racism I’ve experienced from some of the guests, who surprisingly seem to be Ukrainian. I’ve only been here for 2 full days so far and both days I’ve been provoked by totally separate people completely out of nowhere because of how I look. Although I am ethnically Middle Eastern, I am born and raised European and have never experienced racism like this when abroad. It makes me sad, especially when it’s coming from a group of people that I’m supporting by opening my doors to them in this time of war. If you are not white, I would be wary of staying here or spending too much time in the common areas for your own sake, just in case. It can really ruin your trip. Otherwise I totally recommend staying here.

Great location.but lots of drinking and partying on the street side where most dorm rooms are. I asked for a garden side room which they blew. Gave it the second and third night. But beds were super shaky i had trashers two nights so it shook and banged every 60 min waking me up. also people party and drink in the garden until 2 am. no rule enforcement. Expect bad sleep.
