Full of character - however we made a rookie tourist error of allowing the server to suggest which absinthe to try and OF COURSE they offer the most expensive. So caught up in the experience we paid for the two most expensive which totalled £51.53 or approximately 1500Kč, and the drink was pretty disgusting. Be cautious of the prices. The server was polite and gave us plenty of information, he even tried to adjust one of the drinks to try to make it taste better (but of course charged extra for this). I think there are probably better places in Prague to try Absinthe and maybe they wont take advantage. But the place inside is interesting to see.

We didn't eat here. This was my second time at the Green Devil, and it really is quite the experience. If you're into local drinks and strong spirits and unique experiences, then come to the Green Devil. Pay the extra and get the true experience.

Really great little place for anyone wanting absinthe not just as a novelty. Staff knowledgeable and gave good recommendations according to our preferences. Tried a Czech green non-macerated and white Swiss absinthe. Prepared French style for us at the table and both excellent flavours. Shop has great range and good to go to if want to discuss with someone who knows what they're talking about though bit expensive compared to online for same products. Bar prices may appear high but very reasonable for the quality we had and would definitely go again. The decor is another fantastic feature with fantasy murals, atmospheric lighting and trinkets everywhere. A truly excellent drinking experience.

Tbh... I did not like the Absinthe. The ambience was also ok but not great. I thought the ambience would be like the ruin bars in Budapest and I also wanted to try absinthe once... I have always thought Absinth exists only to destroy you during night out. But guys from Green Devil’s Absinth bar had showed me the real way how to prepare and drink it. I was amazed how good it was! Over 100 types of Absinth, friendly staff and one of the most unique interior designs I have ever seen. Definitely going on top of must see things in Prague during the day and night!

This place is so fun! It’s in a 18th century cellar. Beware it does smell like one! But the Absinth selection is big and the staff is very liking and able to help you choose what to get and give suggestions. They even give you history on absinthe in the region you choose. The decorations are very eclectic and little spooky at times. We sat and enjoyed our time. They do have comfy chairs and couches and then a section of just wood stools. Very fun place and would recommend visiting!

Wacky and wonderful and weird all at w-once (I had to). I’m sure it’s a tourist draw and it certainly wasn’t cheap but that’s ok, it was well worth it. Visiting in winter, I had the place to myself and the bartender / server walked me through all sorts of absinth information before I landed on a drink. My first time drinking it and certainly a unique experience even if it isn’t going to be my go to drink in the future. Other than the prices, it’s a really great price and certainly a fun stop for one drink to try the place, and the Absinth, out.

Absolutely surrealistic and low-lit bar with tons of different Absinthe worth a visit when you're kind of addicted to the "green fairy" or just curious about this very special liquor and its different types of preparation. The service is extraordinary and while preparing your order you'll get a brief story of Absinthe history and the different types. The price range differs on what you want to spend on the experience, starting at about 250 up to 1500 CZK and more (approx. 10 to 60 EUR) per drink. Don't be scared by the pricing, it's absolutely worth it. And keep in mind that a good cocktail is the same price range, depending on what you order.
