I didn’t make reservation to come here to be judged by what I order, my race, what I wear, or whom I’m with. Other staff are very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere: classy deco. The background music was very poor-taste pop music and so loud that we couldn’t hear each other in conversations. Don’t think the music matches a high-end cocktail bar named Hemingway (Maybe light jazz or light classic would fit better). I can tell most people here care and are passionate about what they do. I just would expect more professionalism from one of the best cocktail bars in the world. My night could have been much better if I didn’t have to experience the judgments from one staff. A perfect place to have some drinks. The staff is very attend and the bar is very cozy. The selection of drinks is quite big so you always find something that suits you. Minus one star due to the fact, that although the bar was not full they sat us in the bar next to the opening door and when we asked for a different place they put us in a table that was reserved and had to leave after 1.5h although inside the bar where plenty of tables empty. Other than that quite nice.

The Hemingways Garden came in a raised basin with a turnkey pour spout into a coup, and the dessert cocktail I had came in a gilded coup on a wooden coaster carved like a bar of chocolate. You can just describe your taste and a bartender create something special for you. I've been twice at this bar with my friend and we have tried a plethora of cocktails. They are very nice and the place is nice too, everything gives off an old fashioned vibe. The two things that I would consider as downsides are a. the prices, they are definitely up there even for Prague standards. Also it is extremely crowded at all times and feels somewhat claustrophobic to me personally. Good but not as spectacularly amazing as presented by reviewers.

A little on the pricier side (about 15 USD per coktail) but if you want good ambiance and flavorful drinks, then this is your place.

Need to make a reservation but we’ll worth it. They only had room for us at the bar which turned out to be the best seats in the house. The bartender was very nice and answered all my questions. Great fun night out with my beautiful wife.

What an incredible place. Non wonder it's always packed!! The place it's very small, so I would suggest to book in advance. We were served by this incredible and polite guy, I wish I had asked his name to mention in my review. He was so friendly and knowledgeable! I had a chocolate and strawberry caipiroska, it was so fruity! I loved it! My partner had a cocktail called Breath in the afternoon which came in a very fancy bottle. He loved it! 100% recommend this place if you're in Prague!!

Absolutely amazing! The bartenders, the waiters everybody super nice, super tasteful drinks well prepared and presented. Great absinthe options :) Totally recommend this place.

Such a great vibe! Tried a bunch of cocktails and they were all IMMACULATE! Staff were lovely and the music was great. Spent lots of money but sooooo worth it! Thank you for a fun evening 😌

Very cosy and nice place. We called few minutes in advance of our arrival only to check if it is too crowded, the guy from the phone told us that it is, but after 9PM they are not receiving reservations anymore and we can try to come and check if there is any table available (that’s what we did since we were only 2 people). On our arrival, this guy from the entrance was really nice coming from time to time with an update while we were waiting in front of the building for an available table (the waiting time was only around 10 minutes) and then he welcomed us inside. The drinks were good, the staff was nice…the only thing that bothered us a little bit was the fact that, going out for a cigarette with my boyfriend, we were asked to leave something at the table to make sure we are not leaving without paying ( I am not sure if that’s an usual thing for them, no one asked this before) and that’s why I am giving them 4 starts. It was cold outside, we had to take our coats with us and I could not leave my purse…so my boyfriend stayed only in his sweater only for leaving the coat at the table. Their drinks are really good, but I had some other that were even better in other bars in Prague with similar prices but better quality and more space, considering here the tables felt too crowded for us.

It was our first time at Hemingway's bar. Everything was perfect, from the customer service and the knowledge of the staff on the cocktails (and drinks in general) to the quality and way of serving of the drinks! We accompanied our drinks with the gooda cheese, breadsticks and fig jam, which o had to say it was really tasty (we skeptical at first whether it would be a good choice)! Prices are about 10-12 euros per drink which is not too much but it might be considered as one of the "pricier" in Prague. Definitely you have to make a reservation through bar's website to avoid waiting in line outside in the cold! If I ever visit the city again ,definitely will drink there again!!!

Love this place! All the drinks are delicious and beautifully presented. Plus the staff is so nice. Mateo the bartender is awesome!!

some of the best cocktails i’ve had! the cocktails were so fun and each had their own story that our server explained to us. my favourite was under the sea which comes in a glass shaped like a shell with an edible sponge. we had 2 cocktails each and it came to roughly £50 (1417.53czk) which is a bit steep for 4 drinks but for the experience and how nice the drinks were i think it’s worth it. it gets quite busy so i’d recommend booking. however, we didn’t book and we queued outside for roughly 10 minutes which wasn’t bad. definitely worth a visit!
