I was denied entry at around 10PM evening because I was wearing shorts (dress shorts, knee length). It is perfectly acceptable for an establishment to have a dress code but I found it very odd since we are in middle of old town after a long tourist day and the dress code is not posted on their Google listing.

Not worth a visit, avoid this place. The drinks were only average and were overpriced for what they were. Service wasn't great, they wouldn't leave menus on the table for us to look through after we had a drink and after two drinks, and a short time spent there, we asked for the bill and they asked if we could give a tip which I found to be tacky considering we were not there long at all and the service was not good. We were speaking English and I feel we were profiled and assumed to be American which is why they asked. Music gets old fast as it only serves a thematic purpose and it wasn't a great atmosphere.

Fantastic cocktails and wonderful small appetizers in a stylish and classic setting! We had the Strawberry Mule, Dreaming Carafe, High Society and Public affair all very different and all really, really good. I would very much recommend this place to anyone who'd like a bit of a break from the pilsner.

Nice cocktail menu (the little books might deserve a little „update“/reprint, but it s all about the content! ;) Service at the bar was a little mixed... the second bartender managed to wish a good evening and enquire about happiness level and additional drinks... his colleagues didn’t have their friendliest days or weren’t quite yet awake. The 4 cocktails sampled were good and very reasonable priced (around 190 czk), however lacked the love and finesse of a 5* rating ... would still come again though if the bartenders loosen up a little.

Neat and pretty good coctails. Pleasing and oldschool atmosphere with suitable background music. The barkeepers really seem to know their job. The price is absolutely reasonable.

I visited the Tretter's Bar at a Wednesday evening and have been sitting as the counter with my partner. The barkeeper was very friendly and skilled. He was able to mix a tasty individual cocktail based on my preferences. Cocktails might be a little more expensive than in some other bars but if you a appreciate quality regarding ingredients and mixing skills then I would recommend Tretter's. The ambience and people were also pleasant.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Very unfriendly bouncer, hostile environment and very bad tasting and overpriced drinks. Do NOT go here!!
