First of all, don’t be fooled by the pictures. It’s really just an oversized freezer with a bartender who clearly doesn’t enjoy her job. Regardless of the fact that the pub itself was just a gimmick, the bartender was the rudest person I have ever met in my life. She poured us the wrong drinks because she clearly couldn’t hear us through her bad attitude, but when my husband mentioned she gave us the wrong ones she rolled her eyes at us and threw a fit. Needless to say, we didn’t get the drinks we paid for and we left. There are so many other wonderful places in Prague with incredibly kind and welcoming staff to spend your money. I wouldn’t waste your time with this place.

Drinks are amazing, the bar and ice sculptures are excellent! The service is horrible!!! The female bartender was the worse! She was yelling at customers for moving the menu even a centimeter, not exaggerating, yelling at customers for not knowing what they want before getting to the counter. She was cursing at customers and talking badly about them in Czech loud enough for them to hear. She was just horrible, and then she decides she's had enough after 20 mins and stops taking all drink orders and screams at customers to leave, kicks everyone out and throws ice glasses and bottles into trash and screaming out curses. She seemed to think we didn't understand every vile thing she was spewing out. We understand Czech perfectly enough. 100% suggest avoiding this place. Left with 3 unused drink vouchers because she literally kicked everyone out. Look, even if you hate tourists, who you specifically cater to, there's no need to openly swear about them to their face assuming they have no idea what you're saying. Avoid like the plague.

Overall your experience depends on the mood in a place like this and it's very weird when there's only 2-3 people who don't know each other suddenly trapped in a freezer. To enter you should visit during the day or you're going to have to pay also for the club. The whole tunnel gets closed when the night club opens and crossing the street becomes an issue, which is quite surprising if you've been here during the day. I froze in 10 minutes and had enough because there was just no mood with 3 people and a bartender... the other 10 minutes were, well, not pleasant. You can't exit unless he opens up for you. So either enter with a bigger crowd or... idk. Came after noon, good thing I wasn't alone. Could be better, but still OK because it's interesting and rare.

If you are looking for a fun, interesting experience, look no further than the ice bar. Located right near the Charles bridge and beside the Robot Club, it’s a small but entertaining space. For a small entrance fee (200 Kc or about €7.85) you get access for 20 minutes, as well as a free drink. I’d recommend buying online using your card, or with Kc at the entrance. Extra drinks can be bought inside for 150 Kc. The place is quite small, although there are three or four areas that are perfect for a good photo op. My recommendation? Brave the cold for a second and take off your jacket for a hilariously out of place photo. Enjoy your time there!

This place is typical money scam. Ar the begining you must buy ticket for 200 czk for some kind of robot Music bar/dance, but they wont tell you that. To get to the IcePub you must buy aditional ticket for 150 czk. Such a bullshi…. Drinks there cost 2x more than normal. Guards are agressive, they check you and your bag very closely. Totally not worth!!!!

Absolute sh💩t show, SCAM!!!!!! Asked at the door if this was the ice Bar, and was ushered in a door in which was told to pay 200czk each, Cash only!, then got to Ice bar entrance and told to pay another 150czk, then shouted at to go back with her to the door in which we where told tough and we must pay, we then asked for refund and was told no once we enter door tough luck, we asked for manager in which he said he was but clearly wasn't, we persisted untill he actually rang manager in which money was thrown at us and we where told not to come back, definitely would not recommend!!

Absolute SCAM!! Do not go here !!! It's cash only and no receipts given!!! We had such a bad experience there. Staff are so RUDE!! We were asked to pay 200ckz to enter on arrival after asking at the door which door was the entrance to the icebar (was very badly signed, unsure which door is to the ice bar). When we got in we paid and made our way to the ice bar to which we were asked to pay another 150 czk. We told the lady we had paid at the door and she rudely shouted for us to follow her back to the entrance. They refused us entry into the ice-bar without paying again. We asked for our money back to which he refused and said he was the manager. We refused to go without getting our money back as we didn't want to go to the nightclub and only wanted to go to the icebar. We asked if we could go to the nightclub tomorrow with the money we have paid. He said we would have to pay again. We asked for the manager repeatedly and he rang and we got our money back and to never come back! STAY AWAY!! There the rudest people ever!! They search your bag and belongings before entry. Doesn't deserve a one star rating. Much better bars in Prague.

Two stars instead of one because -10 degrees is kind of cool. Same for the ice furniture and ice cube glasses they serve your drinks in. However, extremely rude and uninterested staff. Both here and in the ‘robotic bar’ next door. This by itself made it worth writing this review. Also, lighting is pretty bad here. Feels like a dark freezer with some ice, instead of a fancy ice bar. Place is sponsored by Heineken but doesn’t sell beer, which we didn’t realize until we were inside. Only vodka drinks and non-alcohol versions of them, which kind of taste like a multivitamin juice from the supermarket. So go for a short experience. And take a bare chested photo if you are up to it. That’ll make it worth it.

It's a "cool" experience but only lasts for 20 minutes. From the first second a timer remindes you when to leave and you wait at least 5 mins for your drinks - enought time to realise that the "largest ice pub of Europe" ist only a small room and definitivly not the same bar as shown in the commercial spots. I wouldn't know what to do there more then 20 mins, which is good on one hand because you don't get bored but also a little sad in the other hand. It was still fun because it was so different to our expectations and also still a uncommon impression. If it would be a normal bar (without ice) I'm sure noone would go there. There is only vodka to drink, so a child from our group got nothing to drink. You definitivly don't go there for the drinks but it's still fun if you have some money to spare and haven't been to an ice bar before. We regret nothing but wouldn't go there a second time. Maybe also nicer in summer then winter months.

Had to leave early, it was such a disappointment. Room was basically empty, no sculptures or anything cool to take pictures with. And don’t be fooled by the pictures, no ice glasses or anything. Very confused because people seem to have had a very different experience but we were seriously let down. Staff were nice enough but it was a huge waste of money.

Listen, I’m from America. I can appreciate a solid scam when I see one. If you like clinging to your loved ones for dear life in a meat locker, then this is the place for you. The drinks were one beer, and putrid cranberry with “absolute”. I was a teen in the early 00’s. I know what filling a plastic water bottle filled with questionable vodka tastes like. There were times I thought they’d be shoveling our frozen dead bodies into the alley outback. Gave me a new appreciation for life and how delightful the rainy 45f weather is. 5 out of 5 - would recommend. Bring your loved ones to show them how lucky they are to have you.

So, what can I say: Very nice and astonishing location, all "furnitures" made of ice, glasses made of ice, music instruments made of ice. Very cool location with minus 7 degrees. But the Service is absolutly downgrading: they seem not to like their job, mixing Cocktails like dogfood and not loosing one word if not necessary. Sad to day: Bad Service.

A very nice experience! The bar is underground in a place made completely out of ice - even the glasses for you drinks! The temperature in this fluorescent room is very low so you’ll be given gloves and a jacket. You’ll be allowed into the ice bar for 20 minutes with one drink offered. Even though 20 minutes might not seem enough, it is the perfect time because the cold really gets through. The bar also offers a small dance floor with good music. It’s not an all day activity but as a one time thing I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it to people especially in the summer! :)) a little overpriced though (300kč/person)

We had to pay 7 euro to get in there. You can only stay for a certain time (there is a timer on the wall). The pub was very small and not that much to see. If you haven’t been to an ice pub before, then it should be fascinating to see it. The staff/bartender was very friendly and we had a nice talk.

Expectations should be low as you enter the place as it was a bit underwhelming with it being a small room. I liked the ice sculptures and there were many photo opportunities to be had here such as sitting on the throne and by the gorilla. Staff were very friendly. Although, it is cheap, it is not worth the price for a cocktail which consisted of half a draught of beer or simple kiwi and vodka. We had fun in there. Staff should not push for sales though as it was a little aggressive. Overall, I very much enjoyed this twenty minute experience as it was an unique experience.

Place is pretty "cool" literally. The down side is that they only give you 20 minutes to drink your included drink before you have to leave. It worth the money if it is your first time. Also check to see if you can find a voucher that will give you 2 drinks for the same price! Look at your hotel, or even at the entrance of the bar. Since the temperature inside is -7 Celsius, joint forget to bring your jacket. They will provide a thermal cover an gloves, but 20 minutes is a lot for just that!

Absolutely awful!! Me and my friends booked online roughly 2 months before and when we got there it was closed. We went back the next day and the ice pub was closed due to reconstruction. We have emailed and phoned multiple times and they haven’t responded once. We just want our money back but they won’t reply to us.

If you want a dissapointment, go inside. You won't find ice sculptures, it feels more like standing inside a big freezer. Except for two 'chairs', which don't look like chairs and an iceman with an amputated arm. The staff is also not that friendly, looks like the guy standing behind the bar really hates his work.

It always was a super cool place. They don't serve Heineken beer anymore and the staff was continuously trying to push us out after 10-15 minutes and waiting desperately for us to finish our drinks. Would not recommend this place anymore!

Such a cool experience (pardon the pun). We were allowed 20 minutes inside, at around -10 degrees. 240CZK per person for entry + 1 free drink. You can pay for extra drinks inside as well. The whole room is virtually made of ice, including the glass you drink out of!

Good idea applied poorly. 11€ per person for 20 minutes of ice time (10 of it passes when you wait for the drink queue)The drinks were bad, the decorations at the time was so poor. Poor ice art as well. It could be a lot better. 2 stars only for the effort.

If you want to go to a special location for half an hour visit the freezer of the Ice Bar, nice experience but it has its price. The rest of the club is huge with a lot of different areas on different floors, it’s worth it going up to the top.

Ice bar was a good. Not sure about the robot mixers 😄 Staff still need to hand you the drink, and you do have to wait. Quicker at a bar for sure. It's not so cheap to get in the ice bar, you do get a vodka in an ice glass and a free token for a drink in the robot bar.

Unbeliavable experience. It felt like we were in an ice castle. It isn't big. There were only two of us and a bartender. It felt a bit strange. You can take some photos (but your hands are freezing without gloves) and your drink and that's it.

Blonde woman at the front desk was really rude !! She acted as if she was better than everyone else and had these smug remarks for absolutely no reason. Bartender done his job really good and been friendly. Gloves they give to you don't keel you warm so bring your own. Besides all that, every praise for the interior of the bar. very nicely designed and looks great, you have 20 minutes and 2 cocktails if you order through the website, which is more than enough time, all recommendations !!

Nice experience, especially on a hot summer day! We went there as we were almost melting outside under 30°C🫠 30min us more then enough inside the ice bar, by the end we were already cold. They give you 1 shot of vodka with juice, but for me it was too much alcohol, I couldn't drink. Overall a nice experience 👍

I’m glad we tried it, we never experienced anything like this place before, but you only spend 20 minutes inside (in -9 celsius degrees) for 300 czk (which includes only one drink of your choice). So it’s a unique experience but maybe a little overhyped.

  • 5/5 TETIANA S. 3 months ago on Google • 6 reviews New
cool pub made of ice. the protective suit honestly didn’t help much. Be sure to take gloves before entering, it is very cold to be inside without them. There are also soft drinks on the menu. I really liked it!

  • 2/5 Claire S. 4 years ago on Google
Cool but not that cool. I was expecting something akin to a real pub with tables and chairs. But instead it's more a "museum" of ice where you can drink. Things you should know before going in : the entrance fee is 200Kc and includes a drink, the room is small, every 30 minutes a group of 25 people can enter and you only stay in for 20 minutes. Otherwise it is a nice concept but for tourists, you go there once in your life and that's it

  • 4/5 Erika B. 4 years ago on Google
Went to the ice pub during my vacation this week in Prague . The room is a decent size and you get 17 minutes inside to drink your drink that is included with the 200 czk entrance fee. It’s a little pricy as I was expecting more time in there but the music was good and a very cool experience. Wear a hat as it gets pretty chilly! A little touristy but if you haven’t tried it check this out . All the ice sculptures are from things that are part of the Czech culture like the Crown Jewels and thrones .

Absolutely awesome place to see, cost 200 crowns each to get in including one free drink but after that the drinks are 150 each and quite small so it's a little expensive. You only get 25 minutes in the bar due to it being - 10 degrees inside but I'd do it again tomorrow!!

Such a scam. Got convinced to go because it was a “cool unique experience” despite being a short experience. Showed up and got told we had to wait around 15 more minutes before we were even allowed inside then once we were inside we had to pay to hang out in the robot bar while we waited another 20 minutes for the next session in the ice pub to start then got told on top of all of that we had to pay ANOTHER admissions fee for the ice bar even though that’s what we originally asked for and we even got told paying admissions earlier would cover both experiences. Such bs never even went inside. Also the dude working the front counter acted super annoyed with us the entire time as if we were the problem for being there and it wasn’t his entire job to help us.

CLOSED! We bought a voucher via booking.com - on February 25th the ice pub was closed. The entrance could not to be found. At the exit there was a sign "closed for renovation", at the bar next door that was confirmed by the bartender. Nevertheless, you can continue buying vouchers via Ice Pub homepage and also e.g. through booking.com and waste money with this. BIG SCAM! If you want to visit that paid for your ticket at the Ice Pub!

Me and my boyfriend paid full admission each online on the website before we arrived for 25/02/2020 at 7pm! We arrived and the ice pub was “closed for reconstruction”! Very angry and Annoyed as we was looking forward to visiting and experiencing the ice pub, even worse that we paid for it too!

At the entrance they make you wear stocks of thermal capes that protect you from the cold. The maximum time allowed to stay inside the Apice Pub is twenty minutes. The entrance costs 200 crowns (8 euros) and you have included a drink of your choice between different types of vodka or beer served in a glass made of ice. One of the best bars in the world !! A cool place check out. A little bit pricey, you get to spend 20 minutes in the ice bar. You get 1 "free" drink with your entrance ticket. Not much alcohol in it. Honestly I wouldn't have been able to spend any longer than that in there. I was wearing summer clothes. They do give you a thermal jacket and gloves to wear while you are inside.

unprofessional behavior across the board. since april this year I have been trying to get the amount for my booking refunded, because the club had closed due to restrictions. calls are not accepted, e-mails ignored and social media messages not answered. do not book in advance. you will never see your money again.

(Translated by Google) Actually quite fun for a detour. However, you should know beforehand that the ice bar only consists of a single room and is not really big. There are two ice sculptures in the room and a few seating options. Still, I would definitely make a recommendation. You can't stay very long anyway and definitely worth a detour for a little fun and a drink. (Original) Eigentlich ganz lustig für einen Abstecher. Admission cost 200 CZK per person, the price includes one drink. I would rather go for a drink somewhere else, there is no need to expect anything extra. I enjoyed the atmosphere, but it is not for regular visits. The exposure of the interior will change once in a while. (Original) Nikdy som nebol v podobnom Ice bare, takže som si návštevu užil. (Translated by Google) Very interesting idea, the design of the bar is really original. It's a pity that the drink included only vodka with juice (3 flavors). The length of stay is limited to 20 minutes, but no one wants to be there voluntarily any longer, and it is enough to drink a drink, view and take photos. It is more of a tourist attraction than a real bar, but it is worth a visit.

Ice Pub is nice experience! I believe this isn't the only ice pub in the world, but it's very nice thing to see and try in Prague. I think you should definitely give it a try. In my opinion, the entrance fee is affordable and when you pay the entrance fee you'll get 20 minutes time to spend in the bar and one drink included in that price (don't worry, I think that 20 minutes are more than enough since it's really cold in the bar!)

I don't really know how to rate this. As an actual bar: he no, there are sooo many better places. As a FUN adventure for a quick visit: definitely. The personnel js super friendly and the place is kind of fascinating if you haven't seen such a thing in the past. Nevertheless it is quite small, so don't be disappointed once you walk in, just keep in mind what it already must cost keeping the place frozen. ayou have to pay an entry fee of about 15€ (give or take).

Very cold! My first experience in an ice pub, I loved it! Once you pay for entry you get one free drink from the 3 options available which was very tasty. Didn't get to spend roughly more than 30 minutes, I'm not sure if that was the max amount of time allowed or if we got there just before closing. It's also right next to the robotics pub which was also pretty cool!

Was hesitant to go here bc the other reviews but it was actually pretty cool. It's definitely a 'for the Gram' type place but it's great for that. Lighting is great if you pay attention to the angles of the photos. 20min is plenty to grab some pics in all the cool spots. Definitely don't come here if you want a chill place to hang out with a group and drink: it's totally for the experience/pictures and that's it

An interesting idea, I enjoyed my time here. You go to a room which is fully constructed on ice, and you have a drink. Although it is not the greatest of the places, it’s a different thing to visit for around 15 minutes.

  • 5/5 Niklas G. 1 year ago on Google
Great experience for a very good price 250CZK (including a free drink). The bartender was fun and in a good mood. The drinks are basic which does not matter as the experience should be in the focus.

  • 2/5 R E. 1 year ago on Google
The stars are only because it’s a unique experience. You have to get cash, it’s cash only. You wait in line, to pay cover then wait in line to buy a mandatory drink ticket (NOT an actual drink), then wait in line for your coat. Finally, you’re let in to the small ice room with ice sculptures to be served an option of 3 sugar ridden, pathetically weak drinks by an annoyed bartender & get kicked out in 20 mins. The multiple floors have other gimmicks like a robot bartender but has to be served by a human, and vodka balloon “shots” a.k.a. Fire in your lungs. Never again!

  • 4/5 Sharon Q. 1 year ago on Google
Not somewhere you will spend a lot of time (about 20 mins likely) but is really just an attraction and something fun to experience. The vodka cocktail that comes with admission fee (approx £7) was lethal but enjoyable. A fun half hour if you have some free time.

I heard a lot about ice bars so I decided to try one. In general it was a nice experience I'm happy I did it but definitely not doing it again (at least not here). You start by getting dressed with clothes they give you (that definitely don't feel clean or smell good) and then you enter the bar. It was really beautifully made and I enjoyed looking around on the ice sculptures. They only give you one drink per person (that is part of the entrance fee). The drinks are from poorly vodka with different mixes (sour, sweet or bitter) - really cheap and not tasty and unfortunately even if you want to pay for something better, you can't (that's all they have). They do give you the drinks in an ice cup which was cool. At most it was a very awkward experience, there is no place to really sit so you just stand close to other people you don't know after you looked around and admired the place with a few pictures (about 5-10 minutes) after that, you're exhausted and you just wanted to leave. It was a bit expensive for 30 minutes and a bad drink, I don't think it was worth the price.

Visited 23/12/22. Cost 250 Koruna for a 20 minute session inside and a drink. the inside was decent and they do provide a warmth poncho. However, I don't think it's particularly amazing and onky worth visiting if you haven't been to one before.

  • 4/5 Tomos I. 1 year ago on Google
Very cool bar (pun intended!) Book ahead for a free cocktail. You get 30mins in the bar which at first we questioned but were grateful for once inside. The atmosphere was a bit flat with just us (a group of four) and two groups of two who both bailed early doors, unable to stomach the cold. Worth doing for the experience if you've not done an ice bar before but won't be rushing back...

👍👍 For me, the best place to eat in Prague. Not only drinks, but also foods arrive at your table on trains. On some tables, trains return to even take empty plates! On top of that - the food is delicious, same goes for drink. The staff is very kind and polite. I definitely recommend this place.
