I've visited here a few times but usually for drinks and the staff have always been as expected, friendly helpful and attentive. ⭐ Service is 5 stars! 🧂 Unfortunately came for the full Irish Breakfast and it was not great. It looks great, and you will get an actual fry up (everything deep fat fried including toast) and very salty. 🍳 Eggs were overcooked, chewy and salty. 🥓 Bacon and sausages were great and beans and tomato were nice but sadly overpowered by the salty eggs and mushrooms. ☕ Plus side nice to get a proper pot of tea brew with milk.

Typical Irish bar in Prague busy food ok a little pricey over all but offering familiar drinks live music most of the time but not the best quality 2nd time we went in they were a little bit more standoffish and say us away from the main bar. Toilet is down a spiral staircase that just keeps on going

  • 4/5 Sami 1 year ago on Google
A solid irish pub. When we visited there was a group of at least ten bachelor partiers who were extremely loud to the level where you could barely hear your own thoughts so keep that in mind when visiting

Nice bar to relax with a beer. Do watch the staircase to the toilets. Not sure I would make it safely down them after too many beers

We were looking for somewhere to drink and walked past Caffreys, the doorman was very sound. We ended up coming in and they had live music, great food and great local beer. It was the best Irish pub we visited in Prague out of 7.

I like this location, the staff are very nice and friendly. Apart from not having Caffreys..... Which to be honest I wasn't too worried about, I like their range. ______________________________________________________ A message for Helen. When I first posted my initial review, it was the first time I visited I do believe. I just wanted to let you know that without Marta & Matty making myself and so many people feel so welcome like they do..... This has been almost the best part of the trip for me! I always come to Prague alone, but they both definitely have made me feel like I'm definitely not! Keep moving forward with things and I'll see you all again next year!

My best friend and I just took a trip to Prague and found this amazing bar. Great staff, live music every night and delicious food. It’s a great place to hang out after a long day of exploring Praha. The best bartender in Praha is Peter! Tell him I sent you!

We sat outside on a warm Oct day, for a round of 4 drinks after our day of site seeing. 2 cider, 1 beer, 1 vodka & coke) £18 was a fair price, co sidering location & view! Young Irish lad waiting on the tables was prompt & friendly taking & delivering our order.

Such a brilliant bar to visit. Pure Irish feel and atmosphere. Regardless of how busy it was, I felt taken notice of and the bar staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good night. Had a right laugh here and would definitely visit again. Great live music, friendly people and laughs all round.

I had never been in an Irish Pub, nor in Prague. The pub is beautiful, well organised, and well stocked. his point strong, however, in my opinion was the staff. i know it may sound strange as a strong point of a place but the girl who served me was the only person who gave me a smile so far in prague, they are all so serious. it was nice to enjoy a great beer and feel some hospitality ❤️💪🏼

Very friendly bar, staff are nice, always good singers playing. Def recommend. Expensive for Prague but the Irish bars generally are across the city so no difference here. Would Def recommend a visit.

Nice bar, nice beer, good live band. Shame it was ruined by the rude bartender with shoulder length hair. Don’t know what his problem was but making comment under his breath and being rude.

Very friendly staff. In general, I like the Irish Bar, it has a very intimate atmosphere and most importantly, I can enjoy drinking my favorite beer "GUINNESS" 😍🍺

  • 5/5 Jason H. 4 months ago on Google
This is definitely a location you have to visit when around Prague Old Town. Fantastic and attentive staff, great food and superb atmosphere (plus they do a wonderful pint of Guinness!). Plenty of screens for sports and the Karaoke evening was a good laugh.

A cavern was certainly missing a member last night. How would I know you say... Well she was sitting at the bar in this place. Very loud with even a louder cackle... Kind of killed the atmosphere and encouraged others to leave. Service was brilliant, just check for any witches before ordering 😉

Broken TV channels. Filthy Bar.. Spilt drinks everywhere. Live music on... unfortunately they left the background music on at the same time. Bad beers. Flat. Half poured. Complained and he said that's how it is in Czechia. Overpriced. Found a better bar within 5 minutes.

One of the best places in Prague. Great service! We were served by the waitress Alina, she was very pleasant, she always came to ask if we wanted anything else and if we liked everything. We noticed that all the staff are very friendly and respond to requests. I sincerely recommend!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Caffrey's Irish Bar, and I must say, it was an incredible experience that transported me straight to the heart of Ireland. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an authentic atmosphere that truly captures the essence of Irish culture. The ambiance of the pub is something to behold. With traditional Irish décor, cozy wooden furniture, and an inviting fireplace, I felt like I was stepping into a charming pub right off the streets of Dublin. The attention to detail in recreating the Irish pub experience was remarkable, and it's clear that the owners have a deep appreciation for Irish heritage. Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. The menu boasts an impressive selection of classic Irish dishes that are prepared to perfection. I couldn't resist trying the fish and chips, and I was blown away by the crispy batter and tender fish inside. The Irish stew was another highlight, brimming with hearty flavors that warmed both my stomach and my heart. And of course, no visit to an Irish pub would be complete without a pint of Guinness, poured to absolute perfection. The drink menu also offered a wide range of other Irish and international beverages to suit every taste.

Visited here a few times whilst we stayed in Prague, always good atmosphere, friendly staff, live football and great food & drinks. I recommend to drink or eat here! They also have live music everyday Thanks for looking after us!

This is a great Irish Pub with proper musicians that get everyone singing familiar tunes. If you're looking for a casual pub with good vibes near the town square, this is the place to be!

Proper pub hidden in a corner of Old Town Square. It's a fantastic pub, staff so friendly and have a great sense of humour. We sat outside as the weather was so lovely. The bar area and toilets were nice. Staff kept the drinks flowing and qould have a chat. Live music was good too. Definitely worth a visit!

A nice traditional Irish pub at the heart of Prague. We didn't try any food, but they serve very nice mulled wine. The two girls serving were also very nice and accommodating. We went in to watch a football match and weren't disappointed as the pub has numerous TVs that they show sports on.

  • 3/5 John E. 1 year ago on Google
It's an 'Irish' pub not in Ireland and is typical of the kind you see in any city that calls itself an 'Irish' pub. They're are fine for tourists, but the ones in Prague are awful for a true Prague/Czech experience. Extremely expensive for Prague, but then it is in a tourist area. I'd avoid it.

  • 2/5 L. L. 1 year ago on Google
I would not recommend this place. The location is great and it could justify the price...if the drinks weren't a scam. We paid two cocktails but it felt like they were virgin since you felt no alcohol at all. Maybe we should have gone for beers. The inside smells terrible, like the floor's soaked up with old beer and sweat. And the toilets can't be locked unfortunately... I think you can find better places to have a drink

Absolutely shocking staff . Lady the greets yea is a demon 8 lads not a drink on board arriving to watch Ireland game . Not a sign on an Irish staff member an call themselves an Irish bar. Beware hens an stags do not go near. Threatened to call the police cause I asked why we couldn't go in

Had an amazing experience here, had the Irish breakfast and it was delightful. But the best part was the service from Sean! He was so engaging and just a pleasure to be around, felt like a long lost friend. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time I'm in Prague !

  • 3/5 Saga S. 4 years ago on Google
Your classic Irish pub. A good ambiance, the regular beers on tap and staff that make sure your glass is always full. Surprisingly good nachos. 1 big minus that they dont have the sound on for the games and there's no lock in the bathroom.. that would have brought it up to 4-stars Reply to owner: There was only one game on so that was not the case. Watching football without the sound kinda sucks, no matter the reason why it was not on, it is something I at least would have wanted to know.

  • 5/5 Gerrit M. 4 years ago on Google
At first sight this might look like an average Irish pub but it's got just that bit more quality and friendliness which gives it such charm. It's all in the details like the subtle smiles of the personnel when they ask you if everything is okay. Recommended. 😊

This is a proper bar!! Great staff, really clean, excellent service, beers and cocktails served fast and professionally. We didn't eat here but all food looked delicious. If you want to see GAA, Rugby or Soccer this is the place to go, multiple screens. A huge thank you to John, Declan, Tony and all the Caffreys team for making our weekend in Prague ever more enjoyable. When you get tired of the crowds stop in here for a very refreshing break! You will enjoy it.

👍👍 For me, the best place to eat in Prague. Not only drinks, but also foods arrive at your table on trains. On some tables, trains return to even take empty plates! On top of that - the food is delicious, same goes for drink. The staff is very kind and polite. I definitely recommend this place.
