I bet this establishment deserves more than the two stars but that would require them to be open when they say they are open (here and Facebook). Two trips and two disappointments. So if you want to actually enjoy a good selection of scotch and whisky then perhaps hit-up Whiskeria Bar at Jindřišská Věž where you can partake of many great options instead of staring longingly through a window at bottles just out of your reach. Common guys! Take my money and give me whisky.

If you are a foreigner and want to visit this place or if you wanna buy voucher as a gift I' d advise you against it! I bought 2 vouchers for my boyfriends birthday and I called before the purchase to make sure there would be some degustations in English and I was assured there would be and just need to call like 2-3 months in advance which we did. Still my man had really hard time to even get a date of his visit. He had to call the owner like 6 times and write several emails to even get a date when he could come and then written confirmation of the booking never arrived so even the same day of the planned degustation we were not really sure it would happen which is not nice feeling :( so the communication and customer care is pretty bad Finally these two english speaking guys were added to a group of 16 Czechs!! So you can imagine A the atmosphere and B how much of stories they missed cause they were only told in czech language Its truth that on the website there is no info about size of the groups for degustation so I m warning you you can happen to be in a crowd. Yeah so the owner may know his thing and may have a great selection of whiskeys but I m dissapointed and regret ever buying the voucher at this place. I would recommend to the owner next time just simply say that he doesn't do degustations in English. I'd buy birthday gift somewhere else and everyone will be happy!!

Amazing place for those who love whisky and it's history, the owner and his son are great story tellers, very knowledgeable. Will come as often as my time allows. Must go.

There's no doubt the gentleman talking through the paces knows his thing, but he talks so much and for so long that you'll wait 2 hours before your first taste, and the 6 mouthfuls you'll get will be over 4. Make sure to eat before you come. Some of the people at the tasting literally fell asleep between drinks...and they weren't drunk yet.

The place in Prague for whisky and whiskey enthusiasts and in fact anyone who loves a good drink and company.

A truly impressive selection of whiskies, a friendly, interesting, and knowledgeable bartender -- the only thing missing to make it perfect is bar stools.

The best whisky spot in Prague, no doubt about that. And probably not only in Prague, to be fair.

Probably the best whisky club in Prague. Live Irish music sessions once a month. Fantastic.
