SETTING: Everything is very tight - literally feeling you are sitting on top of each other in terms of table setting, thus there is pretty much non private atmosphere and you can listen to entire restaurant's discussions, so it is loud. Toilet paper of cheapest quality in the bathroom + cheapest plastic toilet seats (it might seem like irrelevant part, but it just gives you the 0 attention to detail vibe and it conflicts with the "upper scale" restaurant marketing). FOOD: The steaks were cooked to perfection - 5 out of 5. Steak quality was not good - if you compare it to USDA prime beef. If compared to Prague steaks - its probably the better meat compared to average restaurant offer, but worse than fine steakhouses or premium restaurants. SERVICE: Generally service was good, but our initial waiter/greeter wasn't really an expert in international names of particular cuts and didn't know the expert level details on nutrition difference of these cuts. Instead of trying to verify details or clarify, he had a bit of passive aggressive "I know it better" vibe. Our general waiter lady for the rest of the night was impeccable. WINE: Wine selection was very good, very well curated pairing. 5 out of 5. Verdict: not horrible, but definitely a big room for improvement. Would not return.

Really nice Czech restaurant for meat lovers. Everything we ordered was enjoyed to the fullest including side dishes. Spinach side dish and oven baked potato recipe were excellent.

Hands down, the best dining experience I had in Prague. Our waiter was very welcoming and attentive. I had snails and lamb while my companion chose steak tartare and a steak. With a bottle of wine and water it came up to around 100 euros for the evening which was absolutely fair. The food was expertly prepared and delicious. Will definitely come back when I'm next in Prague.

The most amazing dinner in Prague! Highly recommended. The dry aged ribeye was incredible, so tender and tasty. Perfect with green needs. The snails and the tartare as starters were incredible. The truffle Mayo with fries and the mushrooms sauce for the steak were the best we tried. 5 star ⭐️

great restaurant for meat lovers. a large selection of different types of meat. the level of preparation is excellent. I recommend booking a table in advance, as the restaurant is small and in great demand. We've been a few times and will definitely be back many more times :)

I can only recommend the restaurant! The food and the service was more than brilliant! We had a lot odifferent of starters and the onion soup was really really good ! The quality of the steaks was really great and the taste was unbelivable! At the end we had the Home-made curd ice cream with hot raspberries prepared directly at your table using liquid nitrogen (-196°C) And this was like a small highlight!!

Wow. This is a restaurant that I will always miss. We stayed 3 nights in Prague, and ate here 2 of them, due to their perfect onion soup (the best I ever tasted worldwide), entrecote and potatoes pure. The wines were delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Next time I'm in Prague- I will definitely be there again.

The food and service is great. However, one drawback is toilets. Toilets do not correspond to the restaurant. There is a very small sink and a very cheap looking soap dispenser.

Vorweg: unbedingt reservieren!!! Wir hatten zu zweit Glück und noch einen Tisch ergattert. Haben nur 12 Tische. Steak war eines der Besten, das ich gegessen habe. Etliche französische Gerichte, wie Schnecken oder Froschschenkel findet man auch auf der Karte. Beef Tatar war okay, habe aber schon bessere in Tschechien gegessen. Außerdem war Toastbrot etwas angebrannt. Bin jetzt schon so das gebratene Brot mit Knoblauch zum selber Einreiben gewohnt. Aber ist halt anders. Das Dessert, ein Topfen Eis, das mit flüssigem Stickstoff direkt am Tisch zubereitet wird, war eine coole Show und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Creme brulee war geschmacklich auch gut, aber ohne Garnierung und shi shi.

Sehr feine Steaks und Beilagen. Man sitzt schön und gemütlich. Die Stühle sind außerordentlich bequem. Das Bier kommt selbstredend vom Fass. Eir teilten uns zu dritt die Platte für vier. Sind alle satt geworden, es blieb aber auch nichts übrig und wir hatten noch Platz für ein Dessert.

Small and very cozy restaurant that surprised me with the quality of food and service. Service was very pleasant, nice and attentive. I asked for recommendation and I got this amazing piece of sirloin steak that was juicy and super tender. Wine and desert selection was great, but not amazing. However I was more than satisfied and would definitely come back for great meat!

No, not good enough for me. Quality of the food is high. No doubt. Though, nothing special. Simply nothing. I can totally buy a good piece of meat and cook it same at home. I know I sound too self-assured, but that how it feels. Something is missing for me. However, worth trying! As I wrote, quality is good. Prices okay. And perhaps, you’ll like it. But I don’t.

It could have being much better experience if the restaurant had reasonable functioning aircondition. Needless to say that when we came it was not turned on at all and when it was turned on it was far from sufficient. Same experience as in previous summer…shame, as the food was good.

Came without the reservation and luckily they found a table for us, yet it seemed like for around 19-20:00 you need to reserve your visit in advance. No other comments, just a great place with food worth trying out!

We had a family dinner and it was excellent!!! We love food, desserts and drinks. The restaurant is all decorated with little cows, even in the washroom, that's a cute detail. 😍 And of course, waiters are always ready to serve. Thanks a lot to the kitchen people, without them, nothing would be possible!

I searched and found this restaurant on google for steakhouse. It was rated very high and we were sent back one evening for no reservation. We went back couple of days later for lunch, it was almost empty, only 2 other tables were occupied. The place was over rated, we took the expensive platter which also had the wagyu as well, but it was not as expected, very ordinary quality, and hard meat. I wouldn’t go here again.

Excellent restaurant. Everything was delicious from the beef tartare as a starter to the homemade desert, and the Czech beef cooked to perfection.

It was one of the best restaurants I'd ever eat! Not a single dish was disappointing! Ordered two stakes three first dishes recommended by the waiter, wine, and apple cider. Recently, we came across this French family-run restaurant and decided to give it a go. Although we weren't very hungry, we ordered some wine, tartare, and snails. The food was delicious, and the tartare stood out as one of the best I've ever had in Prague. I do wish we had tried their steaks, but that just gives us a reason to come back again in the future. I recommend this place for french cuisine and meat lovers. I would deduct one star from the overall rating due to the outdated and old interior design.

Excelent meat as always! It was our third time in this restaurant and we enjoy the food each time. The staff is very nice, the interier is very cosy and with the cow theme. Clean restrooms with towels and accessories for ladies. Definitely recommend and this was not the last time we visited.

Amazing place :) The atmosphere is romantic and fit only a few tables, the service is very nice and polite - a service that you only get from someone doing it with passion. We ordered goose liver fate that was great. Also a Filet that was done beautifully and Onglet cut that was handled perfectly to a good medium. I can Recommend! I would definitely visit again if I'm in town. Tip: be sure to make a reservation or else you will not find a free table be chance.

One of the best steak ever!!! So juicy and tender, I was amazed the second I bit the meat. Escargots are a must-order also, gosh so good I wish I could have it again now...seafood soup also perfectly done. Definitely book a table before you go!

A down to earth atmosphere with excellent food, the service might not be on Michelin level but more than accommodating. The most remarkable thing was the cook of the meat it was absolutely perfect!!! Of course the price is not the one of McDonald's but it is worth every penny when you consider the quality of the food.

Besides white cows you can find here delicious beef for fair price here. This time I tried lamb and it was experience as good as with beef before. Worth visiting unless you are veggie.

Great meat dishes nicely prepared and laid on your plate! This place was definitely best choice for us this time in Prague. Also loved the interior and concept. On top of that, very reasonable prices. One remark only, you shall order side dish separately and personnel might not remind you on that.

I don’t often write reviews, but this restaurant alone could be a reason for me to return to Prague. Incredibly charming, picturesque, small restaurant with friendly service. What truly makes it worthwhile is the food. We had a delicious meal; the steak tartare was the best I’ve ever had. The steaks were also perfectly cooked with a rich flavor. I hope to return to Prague someday, and I will definitely come back here!
