Food was Okay’ish. They don’t allow any outside food or beverages. Even a bottle of mineral water wasn’t allowed. It was very hot and there were no air conditioning or fan. Service was okay. I wouldn’t say it’s authentic Indian food, but not very bad.

My 5 stars are few and far in between but the combination of delicious food and very friendly service at very affordable prices forced me to award a high rating. Don’t be fooled by the location in a basement. You will not be disappointed. One of the reviewers commented on the lack of ventilation which was true but as soon as we informed the waiter he turned on the split unit over our area and it was very comfortable afterwards. We tried the samosa, nan bread, dal soup and chicken tikka and they were all fantastic. We also tried the lamb biryani which I would give 4 stars. The service was fantastic. In the end our check came to $20 per person which is a bargain for such a meal with drinks. Highly recommend.

Discriminatory place with slow service and average food... First day we went impromptu to the restaurant. They refused to entertain us saying it's fully booked, though most of the tables were empty. Next day we reserved and went (ratings were misleadingly good). While we were waiting we realized, that every Indian family who came were turned away saying that they had not booked, but foreigners were not asked about reservation and simply made to sit. After that also most of the restaurant was empty. We had to wait for pretty long both to place order as well as to be served. Finally when the food arrived it was mediocre at best. Prague has pretty good Indian joints and would recommended people to stay away from this one

In last night to the amazing namaste Indian restaurant,the surroundings,food,drink and staff all superb ,we ordered two starters and main courses along with rices and nan bread which we couldn’t finish ,the restaurant came over with a doggy bag ,10/10.

Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Prague that I've been to, and I've been to most of them. There's always high-quality food at really good prices. Lunch is my favorite time to go, they have a wonderful buffet with a good variety of meat and vegetarian dishes and sides, plus there's a separate lunch menu and drink specials as well. Friendly people, amazing atmosphere, and great food, it's definitely a favorite!

My only complaint is that the amount of side dishes, Naan and rice, was overwhelming when compared to the butter chicken I had. The prices reflect the quality, however they are big enough for even 2 people. And who wants to try many dishes for 1 price, they are welcome to come for a daily all you can eat buffet. We waited for about 30 minutes for someone to come to take our order. When no one came I had to go to the bar and ask them to take our order (no apology). The food took another 30 minutes.
