(Translated by Google) A complete disaster, friends, Kašpárek is a real Kašpar for me, the name fits sadly. Price absolutely world-class (I was still at 3600 per menu), courses cheap, worse and even worse. The final turning point in favor of one star occurred to me when they brought us rolls of smoked cheese. Excellent running at a price of maybe 30 CZK. Another "stone" was salted ice cream, when I didn't know whether to laugh or vomit. All in all, incredibly overpriced, incredibly bad, absolutely ordinary, cheap ingredients (seafood about one and about 50g of steak, the rest purchase in Kaufáč in about a few minutes). I am strict, but I have not experienced a worse price-performance ratio in Prague. The problem is that thanks to the constant foams, I was sick regardless of the price.

I have no idea what the negative reviews here are on about. We had the 10 course with wine pairing. The food and service was impeccable. One of the best fine dining experiences I have had in a long time. I have worked in fine dining kitchens for just over a decade. There is something to be said about the precision, technique and capacity for excellence in this restaurant. Field does not disappoint, they deserve their star and I can sense they are hungry for a second. Would absolutely recommend. To anyone taking the bad reviews seriously, just look at the reviewers other reviews. It's evident they have no class or taste.

I was so looking forward to this Michelin star restaurant. The service was excellent, and there was nothing but good things I could say! The food was a different matter, which was beautiful eye candy but didn't transfer the beauty in taste. Every piece was heavy-handed in salt. I didn't enjoy most of the food presented. I was so disappointed in every piece. After the first few, I just couldn't force myself to finish the tiny portions.

It was fastest fine dining experience ever. Service act like in a race. I left stressed and with a headache, because sound there is terrible. Value for money is not satisfying. We ate better in non-star restaurants in Prague for half the price and with friendly and professional service. Food levels were not stable. Sometimes very high, such as for dessert and starters, but the main course was not so good.

Food quality and taste were great. The overall experience however not so much. One feels rushed and uneasy with all the servers continuously walking around and as if they want to break their own record in who’s serving the fastest. We had a much better experience in a non-starred restaurant. Wouldn’t mind to pay higher for an amazing service but Field is not where you can comfortably say you’d come back and visit again. One star.

We arrived at Michelin-starred FIELD Restaurant, excited to celebrate our engagement that happened earlier that day. We sat down and decided to go for the large Degustation menu for the occasion with one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic pairing to go along with the meal (price was around 11280 czk before the tip - which is around 460 euros, and we added 10% on top of that). We told our waiter that we got engaged today, and he showed no emotion whatsoever, didn't even smile, while the table next to us congratulated us. A very strange start to the evening. Barely 10 minutes go by, and we got 3 amuse bouche to start with before the menu itself, with the waiter explaining it really fast - barely understood him and what we were eating, and he was impatient to say the least - this was a recurring theme. From that moment forward, the pace of courses was impossible. We got the entire Degustation menu in less than 2 hours - almost 10 courses. The table next to us that congratulated us, was at the 4th course when we arrived, and we caught up to them by the end of the meal. We felt unwelcome there as if they wanted us to eat very fast, pay and leave. We finished our water glasses and 4 waiters went by our table before we had to ask them for more water - this should never happen in a Michelin starred restaurant. As for the food - if it was amazing, I would be far more forgiving for the horrible service, but it was not. The courses were very beautiful, not tasty, unbalanced - flavor wise and very different (in a bad way) from every other Michelin starred restaurant we've been to in Prague itself and in the world.

Not sure why/how my original review was taken down BUT this restaurant should be avoided. The food was horrendous and commanded a very high price tag. We were seated next to the kitchen which did little to enhance our experience; rather, the constant foot traffic detracted from our private lunch. Our visit was in 2019 so, perhaps, they've improved.

(Translated by Google) This is a restaurant like a pub, just arrange it nicely, it looks nice and tastes ordinary for the money terribly weak !!! And as they decide in the Master chef, the whole competition is a scam and the whole Czechia knows it !!! We loved it! Great flavours!! Each dish was well presented, our waiter was outstanding and the décor was really nice. Now, the food. Wow! Each dish was packed with flavours, some quite suttles and other very bold! Each plate does challenge your palate and your taste buds. You are left with loving some dishes while others do become a point of discussion at the table. Well done chef! Loved it!

The whole experience was amazing. The welcoming, knowledgable and friendly staff. The atmosphere - and the food. Oh, the food! It was a lifetime experience that my partner and I will never forget. I was worried that I might be hungry at the end of the evening, as I'm a big eater. But the amount of food was just perfect. Three amuse bouches, two types of homebaked rolls. Two homemade butters, before the next nine courses including five different petit four and amazing coffee! We chose the B wine pairing which was great and the somellier explained everything - and the wines were well chosen and delicious. It was truly a visual and gastronomic delight! The combination of flavours and textures was adventurous and exciting on the palate - truly exquisite. The pacing of the meal was perfect at three and a half hours. The only comment would be is to ask the waiters to slow down a little when explaining a dish in English. Very highly recommended!

Great dinner experience. Our server JOSEPH was great. Joseph was very professional. Friendly and made our dining experience pleasant. My husband and I had the Full Degustation Menu with Wine Pairing A. Overall, great food, good ambiance, friendly and professional staff.

I was quite disappointed with the food here, unfortunately. The presentation was amazing and there were some good dishes, but I felt the food was unbalanced. Every dish just hit you in the face with flavor, but much of it was far too rich or too salty. I left some courses unfinished. I had gone to La Degustation a couple of nights before and that was far superior. I found myself trying to convince myself I was enjoying the food for how much we were spending.

Our family enjoyed the time we spent at the restaurant. The short degustation menu we've tried was above and beyond. Highly recommended the non-alcoholic pairing - it surprised me the most. We have a child with autism with us, and I truly appreciate that the restaurant team gave us the quite and calm space, away from the other guests. They also were very supportive, giving some out of menu options for our little one. Thank you very much fit the unique experience and lovely lunch we had.

(Translated by Google) It's an interesting experience, but I wasn't very excited about it. The portions are very small. Don't expect to find yourself here much, it's more of a tasting. Something is good, something is not. But what I have to praise is the approach of the staff, so nice and professional service can be seen little where. Another thing I liked was the wine. All types of wine are carefully selected for the meal, the staff will present them to you and pour them, each into a designated glass. The wines are very tasty.

(Translated by Google) We had to visit the field restaurant for several reasons. Because of the Michelin star and because of the chef Radek Kašpárek, whom we saw in the competition masterchef. Place in the restaurant only for reservations, but fortunately was not a problem. Ordered on Saturdays on Sundays. From the outside, the restaurant is very inconspicuous, almost tucked away. Welcome to the restaurant nice, helpful. The interior made a pleasant, clean, cozy impression on me. We had a ten-course tasting menu with wine pairing B. And I have to say that I really enjoyed the food from the beginning. Perfectly brought, presented, served with an idea. Taste-perfect interplay. My husband and I enjoyed talking about the food. Look at him before you eat him. Every course pleasantly surprised us with something. Wines very good and well combined with food. Atmosphere relaxed, pleasant. So for us, a perfect taste experience that was really fun. Yes, it's not affordable for everyday visits, but if you want to make yourself happy or buy someone a gift, you will definitely not make a mistake. (Original) Field restauraci jsme museli navštívit z několika důvodů. Kvůli michelinské hvězdě a kvůli šéfkuchaři Radku Kašpárkovi, kterého jsme viděli v soutěži masterchef. Vína velmi dobrá a dobře nakombinovaná k jídlu.

(Translated by Google) The fifth Michelin-starred restaurant I visited, but compared to the others, I rank it a step lower. Environment modest, very elegant. Staff excellent, occasional serving from the left always with an apology. The only thing I missed about the service was the farewell when leaving. The cuisine is very good, but from the six-course menu, I really only enjoyed three courses, three of which were always a bit disturbing in the rest. The imaginary stain, however, was that something had apparently burned in the kitchen, and the unpleasant aroma then spread throughout the business. Next time I go to an expensive Michelin-starred dinner, I'll choose La Degustation.

Absolutely stunning food, service, and ambiance. The chef has done a fantastic job complimenting the name of the restaurant with his superb dishes. The courses were in perfect harmony with one another and flowed smoothly from one to the next. We had the 10 course meal during our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to end our time in Prague. It is expensive, but if you are going to splurge on a meal while in Prague, this is the place to do it!

Amazing food, every dish was intriguing and sophisticated. The quality of the food itself was high and each dish had a delicate composition which was simply pleasing. Something to improve, perhaps adding a tablecloth to the tables.... PS. The bread condiments amazing.

One Michelin star restaurant. Most of the dishes had an interesting taste, not the usual ones. I loved the fancy vibe and the service as well, if you’ve never been to Michelin restaurants then definitely take a visit because it’s not that expensive.

We had a great food experience! But the server was extremely rude with the table next to us. They seemed to be tourists. The server was loud and not friendly. He was rushing like crazy and for nothing. The plates wer fast. And at the end he even asked the tourists to put a tip. Like it was some sort of an order. The tourists stayed polite. And I hope they will come back to this beautiful city. I feel sorry for them. And sorry for the restaurant and it’s staff.

We arrived at Prague and found Field just 140m away from our accommodation and was ranked 2nd best restaurant in Czech. Felt very lucky to get a table without booking! Service was exceptional, wines are lovely! Some dishes though was a bit controversial. We chose the 10 courses set menu, all went well until the yogurt dish was served… it really killed our appetite with its overly heavy sweetness & sournesses. - The fish borne source overpowered the sturgeon favour. - The attempt to serve Foie Gras with a bit of sweet and sour food was good, but failed with the execution (especially after our best Foie Gras experience in Paris just the night before) - Lamb tartare was good, but by now we were so over the sourness and couldn’t face up to try the side dish came with it. Tongues were all numbed! We were all ready to leave the restaurant at this stage 🥹. Thank god the rest of dishes (veal and deserts) were wonderful and saved the night a bit. I think most of dishes were good by themselves (apart from the yogurt dish), but the head chef probably did not eat all dishes combined end to end himself to realise this combo doesn’t work perfectly together. Appreciate the creativity & efforts, but wasn’t a perfect food journey as it should be…

I love this place, I was so excited to try this restaurant for the second time since my arrival in Prague. Service was excellent, creative dishes. chef explained everything that was brought to the table. The waiter was very nice and recommended a good wine selection with my tasting menus. Five yers later and I’m still impressed with the creativity. The only downside which was not a big deal, the dining room was a little too loud. Michelin star well deserved. I was so upset about not bringing my backup charger for my phone as I was taking pictures of the sights of Prague the whole day. I was told by the server that the pictures are available on their website which I can download for reference. How ever I was able to find images from my last visit which can display the level of creativity on dishes. Clean dining room, well maintained bathrooms.

I had the lunch degustation menu at Field Restaurant with the non-alcoholic pairing. Field is a classic Michelin restaurant which experiments with some interesting ingredients. I specially liked the third dish with beef, potatoes, yolk and dill. I do recommend the non-alcohol pairing if the wine pairing don’t fit your taste.

Unfortunately I can't give 5+ stars! When we planned our trip to Prague we wanted to visit Michelin star restaurants. So we ordered a place before we came to Czechia. We ordered 2 shirt lunch menu of 3 dishes and also a glass of wine. They have 2 options for starters, main course and desert, so because we we're 2 we ordered all the courses. We enjoyed every course, it was perfection on the plate. The taste the look. The personal was very kind and professional!!! The place itself is designed very good. Highly recommended!

Excellent place for a special meal! The degustation menu comes with some theatrical elements which made the meal fun. Waiters were attentative, explaining each dish is detail. The wine recommendations were very good. Small let down was that the food is quite salty, mostly dairy based and doesn't give each dish much texture, making the dish very heavy. Still highly recommend, although next time would try the 3 course lunch menu which seems to be a much better value!

Overall fantastic experience although not perfect. Given very high expectations, I’d give it 4.5. Is it worth Michelin? Absolutely. Is it worth more than 1 star? Probably not… yet? I’ve been to 3 star restaurants and you can kind of feel the difference. Below is a very minor critique simply because the steaks are high in a place like this. First of all, not all dishes felt quite like you want to lick the plate. For example, the bone marrow submerged in potato mouse was way too heavy, despite their attempt to provide freshness and crunch with a bit of black garlic and pickled relish on the bottom. The desserts were nice but neither of the two made us go “wow” like some other dishes. There’s not a lot of fun, creative, surprising aspects that often feel like a magic show in other places. I enjoyed their towels increasing in size, some liquid smoke, and a wooden box with cabinets for a cheese course but that’s about where it ended. They couldn’t make a classic cocktail like penicillin and suggested instead to choose from one of the 3 (!) creative ones that the house makes. I’d expect a bar to be a little more stocked / knowledgeable. Finally, there was a giant banging of dishes like a pan falling on the floor twice (!) during our stay. Not a big deal of course but is a bit unprofessional. All in all, I’ve enjoyed almost everything about Field and would love to be back for other seasonal dishes. Perhaps they can iron out their kinks in the future or perhaps they’re fine where they are! Very much recommended.

Great experience, cool ambience with knowledgeable staff. We had the 10 course tasting menu with wine pairing B. The presentation was very good, however the food was nothing extraordinary. Many of the dishes had a strong smoky flavor— something to be aware of. The dessert was delicious and you could pick your choice of pralines at the end of the meal!

My husband and I had the ten course tasting menu with wine pairing. The dishes tasted incredibly good and they were presented in exciting ways. The wine pairing was very good and the sommelier was very nice and friendly. The only downside is that the service we received from the waitress was cold and impersonal, and we are not used to that from other Michelin starred restaurants we have been to where the staff have been friendly, had humor and smiles on their faces. We did not experience this here, unfortunately. So that makes this our least favorite Michelin restaurant that we have been to, even though the food was very good.

Unfortunately, our dinner at 8 pm on December 17th did not go well at all. We bought it from the tasting menu and wanted to spend a very enjoyable evening. We said we didn't want to eat a caviar that was on the menu. And a gentleman in a suit said we had to take it that this was on the menu. We also said that we didn't want to eat, but we would pay for it. But the man's attitude was quite rude. And we wanted to cut our tasting menu because of this gentleman's rude attitude. Then we paid our entire bill, finished our wine and got up. But the gentleman probably reflected the incident differently inside, so he didn't tell people that he was being very rude to us. And when we said to him, you know how he treated us, he turned around and left. Anyway, it was a very sad experience. So it is also not very true to say that there is a superior service that has a star. We came to Prague for a trip and it was our first bad experience. However, I would like to thank everyone else for their service. By the way, I'd like to point out this. Their English is not understood at all. And the English-speaking waiters here are very difficult to understand.

The most amazing place I have ever visited. Absolutely great service. Waiters are so nice, describe several times the dishes and do not get annoyed by your many questions. The chef came to our table too and asked if we liked everything. That was very unexpected for such high class restaurant. The food was just AWESOME! everything was very delicious. Especially Goose liver. The prices a little too high, but this amazing place with such a great food definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Proper fine dining. Tasting menu is totally worth it. The wine paring was interesting because you get to taste some local wines as well. The design of the place itself is no not outstanding. We always think in this kind of places it would be perfect to have specialty coffee in the end.

Very nice experience. The whole concept, food and restaurant design, is minimalist ,found which I found quite interesting. I do recommend the degustation menu with the non-alcoholic beverage paring. The price vs experience ratio is great for a Michelin restaurant. Definitely a must for gourmet goers!

(Translated by Google) Absolutely famous gastronomic experience, higher price definitely justified. The staff, specifically Czech-speaking (but originally from Slovakia) Bára, with whom it was fun to discuss taste impressions from the first amuse-bouche to dessert, also has a great deal of credit for that. A good idea is also a non-alcoholic pairing, which is reminiscent of alchemy, and for example the appetizer of chanterelles added birch lemonade to a completely new dimension. Inspiration from molecular gastronomy permeates the entire tasting menu. All in all, Field clearly deserves its reputation and position. Celkem vzato si Field jednoznačně zaslouží svou pověst i pozici.

(Translated by Google) Someone in the reviews complains about portion sizes. The Michelin-starred restaurant is not a feeder. But why there has to be "something" to win from the speakers. How about live music? The cook can be seen through the window. Do not wear headgear - a symbol of the craft. So 4 stars, even for repeated the same "sprinkles" on dishes. On the contrary, 6 stars for friendly service.

one of the best dining experiences in my lifetime. top 3 overall and definitely the best (michelin) restaurant on our EU trip, beating out several 2 stars. the service was impeccable, we were never left wanting. everything from the start (amuse bouche) to the finish (bite-sized desserts) was uniquely perfect. food in the form of art and storytelling. i also love the fact your table doesn’t have to get the same tasting menu; my partner got the long degustation menu with wine pairing a & i got the shortest weekend lunch menu. the restaurant was so nice to give us some of the courses to share, like the picnic and amuse bouche! they’re also one of the few michelin restaurants i’ve found to have cocktails and they were delicious and reasonably priced. the only thing i would say isn’t worth it was the wine pairing. i couldn’t tell the quality difference in the wines to justify the price, but i’m no somm. i think le degustation had the best wine pairing but field beat them in all other regards. this was some of the best food of my life, so thankful to have finished my trip with this restaurant. would love to be back!

In a Michelin starred restaurant you expect a bit more than an amazing food. And Field has it, the dinner is simply way to heaven. Excellent balance of tastes in every single meal, great choice of wines. In one sentence: the great experience. Staff was professional, but still warm and friendly. Special thanks to our wine lady. She was really exceptional.

I moved into Prague 4 months ago and back then asked my girlfriend if she would suggest and try something with me. Now this was the third time in here, and probably my favorite degustation in Prague. Brought friends/colleagues twice and always positive feedback. First of all the atmosphere, decorations, theme and the servings, all work absolutely great together. Service is polite, but also very well aware of their menu, suggestions, advise. The actual menu and food itself offers unique dishes with interesting and well thought flavours combined with fitting wine pairing. Ingredients must be quite good quality to bring out the flavours in a distinguishable way. Thank you for the BOH and FOH staff, it's the people who make the experience.

The service was on point. The theme and style of the restaurant appealing and consistent. And the food was overall great. Only smal parts where kind of unconsidered. For example the buckwheat in the starter was just too crispy and the desert to even in terms of taste and texture. Still one of the best places we visited

This is definitely the BEST FOOD EXPERIENCE in Prague. Mind you, not the most typical Czech restaurant, but they include typical local foods into their creative menu, which is just incredible! Style is straight, simple, no frills, just focused on the best food, divine wine pairing, amazing presentations. The staff is ultra professional & knowledgeable, so is the sommelier. Michelin agrees 😉. Do NOT MISS THIS while in Prague.

Field restaurant in old Prague is a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience. The menu showcases fresh and locally sourced ingredients, with an emphasis on seasonal flavors and traditional Czech cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a mix of rustic charm and modern elegance. The service at Field is exceptional, with a friendly and knowledgeable wait staff who are always on hand to offer recommendations and answer any questions. The menu offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes, from lighter salads and soups to hearty entrées and delicious desserts. Each dish is beautifully presented and packed full of flavor, making for a truly memorable dining experience. The wine list is extensive, with a wide range of local and international wines to complement the food. The bar also offers an impressive selection of craft beers and specialty cocktails, making Field the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. Overall, Field is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in old Prague. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch, making for a truly enjoyable evening. Whether you're a local or a tourist, Field is a restaurant that you won't want to miss.

BEST MICHELIN RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE WORLDWIDE!!! This is hands down my favorite Michelin Star Restaurant to date! Incredible Food. Excellent Service. Great Ambiance. My Recommendations: (*) Consider going for lunch to get the cooking staff's full efforts ;) (*) Get the Full Degustation Menu with Wine Pairing A. The Sommelier, Jan (Yan), does a great job! THE FIELD Ceiling Art: Czech Artist Matushka portrays a Garden from Life to Death. Amuse Bouche: (!) Crispy Cod! 1. (!) Trout, Cabbage, Gooseberry, Caviar (made exclusively for Field) ! 2. (!) Strawberry, Basil, Yogurt ! 4. Fois Gras, Plum, Tamari, Hazelnut - This was best spread on the Brioche. 6. (!) Main: Veal, Gran Moravia, Morel Mushroom, Lettuce (*) (!) Palate Cleanser with Apple and Grenita (Apple, Pear, Curd, Chamomile) 7. (!) Dessert Main with Wine Pairing! I had the Sous Chef when I went and he was excellent! My server, Milan, was great too!

Visited on a weekday 3-course lunch. Very attentive, professional service. Staff was very accommodating of my dietary restrictions. Food presentation was beautiful. Food-wise, the meal was good but I'd hoped to be more "wowed" given the high prices. The starter and main course were solid, but the dessert was underwhelming. If I were to return, would do 2-course lunch and save some money in the process.

Field is truly a high-end restaurant where they think of everything. We have been in Field for lunch and several times for dinner. Lunch was excellent, very sufficient courses for a business/couples lunch. Dinner was very interesting, we just didn't hit our taste buds in a few dishes. However, it was still very tasty, absolutely gorgeous serving. The atmosphere in the evening is magical, we really liked the glowing details on the ceilings. The staff are very professional, the way they can talk about food or wine is sometimes breathtaking. And we also love to watch Masterchef and our favorite chef Radek Kašpárek!:)
