Amazing experience. To be honest, this is by far the best Indian restaurant we have tried in Europe. Very high end and tasted like we were having food in India.

Good South Indian and North Indian food. But beware of re-grilled re-heated chicken. One star gone for that. I was surprised by the re-heated tandoori chicken even though the presentation was wonderful. If you are one of the early customers don't expect freshly grilled meat. Lot of nice seating arrangements. Especially the one with sun terrace.

Excellent Indian restaurant. All plates have been exceeding our expectations. Staff was friendly, helpful and always around even though we had the last table in the separate room. Nice open kitchen where you should stop by to see the chefs preparing bread and tandoori dishes. The separate room was missing a bit of the atmosphere you have in the main dining area but that wasn't disturbing at all as we had a bit more privacy therefore. Superb Indian restaurant with great service. Lots of Indians eating in there which is always a good sign. Manager was very helpful. Starters of paneer and tandoori king prawns was epic and our mains of chicken madras and lamb jalfrezi were excellent.

Ordered a Chicken Korma. The sauce had a watery consistency and tasted minty. The chicken was unseasoned and clearly cooked separately to the sauce as had no flavour. Didn’t finish the meal as it tasted off. I had severe stomach cramps the next day. Restaurant refused to acknowledge their food caused it. I advise you visit Indian By Nature instead of this place. The food is better and the staff understand good service.

I knew this restaurant from a YouTube video where it was said to be the best restaurant in all of Czech Republic. I really like Indian food in general and this restaurant was great. For starters we had Samosa which tasted just as I know it and expected. Pretty good. I had the Chicken Biryani with a mango lassi. The lassi was thinner than I know it from most restaurants, but this was in no way bad. I enjoyed it. The food was also good and the portion was enough for me to be full afterwards. Great place, good food and good atmosphere. Although probably not the best restaurant in all of the Czech Republic for me, this is a place I would recommend.

I came to this restaurant while in search of an Indian restaurant with the best reviews and I can say that I was not disappointed. This restaurant is not located in the most touristic part of town, but as almost anything in Prague you can easily reach it walking or you can also take the public transport which shouldn’t take long. One minor negative point was that I had reserved a table via google and when I arrived there was no entry for my name (not sure what the issue was). In any case, the staff quickly prepared a table for me (I am glad it wasn’t full). The service was quite friendly and professional (even providing a warm wet towel to clean the hands before the meal). I am by far not an Indian food expert, but this was one of the tastier meals I had in Indian restaurants. I had a beer (0.5L), Papadums, Vegetable Samosa, Murgh Tikka Masala, rice and naan. I definitely enjoyed the meal, as everything had an excellent flavor and was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also quite nice. In terms of price/quality ration, I think this place is really on the higher end of it, relatively affordable prices for tasty meals. I think it is definitely worth it. For my entire meal, I paid around 26€. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the fact that rice does not come included in the main dish. I understand there are a few other places that do this, but in general, I am more used to have it included in the main dish. Overall, I definitely recommend this place, if you are looking for a very good Indian restaurant with decent prices, delicious food and great ambience.

We went for our dinner yesterday. The food was amazing and delicious. Chilly garlic naan excellent texture and taste, superbly made by the chef along with the Chef’s Chicken Bunna and the Chilly Fish so hot and tasty, never tasted so good elsewhere. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and always hover around to make sure everything is fine. Most places have standard menu, few common base curry that they use for most dishes. But here, one can feel the difference and also the authenticity. I've rated few restaurants 5/5 in the past, but had to differentiate this one, so will go with 6/5.

The prices are on the higher end and so is the service. Bathroom is clean, maintained well and smells nice. As is the norm in Prague, all food should be ordered separately and nothing comes in combination with something else. A special mention goes to the yumm gulab jamun!😋

Excellent restaurant with excellent Indian food. We did not expect to find such authentic Indian cuisine in Prague but really enjoyed our evening here. The portions are generous and well presented, staff are welcoming and prices seemed reasonable. The only downside (hence 1 star less) was that the pint of Heineken I ordered was stale. Sangam is a very nice Indian restaurant with beautifully and elegantly decorated interiors, courteous and attentive waiters but above all very tasty dishes. The way they serve food (including on banana leaves) and drinks is also quite unique and enhances the experience. What I also appreciate is that the tastes of all their dishes are very well-balanced, not bland, not too strong, just perfect and very authentic. One thing which makes this restaurant quite special in Prague is that they focus not only on North Indian dishes like most Indian restaurants here but (as could be inferred from the name Sangam) they also offer several South Indian dishes like idli, dosa, uttapam, sambar. And they really taste like in South India. Some of them are available only on certain days as part of the lunch menu (which is understandable because these dishes require some time and planning for fermentation), so I recommend planning your visit well and checking the menu in advance. The only thing which I was disappointed about a little bit are the portions which could be bigger in my opinion. But that's a matter of how much a person eats. Overall a very nice and authentic place to enjoy Indian cuisine.

Just amazing. Tandoori and Butter Chicken with Naan is like a party of flavours in your mouth. New flavors if you never tried them are mind blowing. You have to come by and give it a shot if you are in Prague - fantastic experience that you have to gift yourself! The service is extremely competent, polite and friendly. Ambience: 10 mins after placing our food, we saw few water drops fall on the floor from the ceiling. Apparently, it’s been raining and it caused the horrible cheap ceiling to leak. It took not more than 5 mins for the leakage to get worse. Now there are water drops on the table and on our head. I wish the ill trained waiters had the basic courtesy to close the section or at least inform us or at least acknowledge the issue. They saw all this ordeal and never bothered. Guess they only care about the tip they receive in the end. 2. Service: Delayed food delivery. Waiters didn’t care to repeat/confirm the order. Starter were delivered without sufficient tables. The ambience of the restaurant is really pleasant. Music is soothing. Staff is very friendly. Overall, we have spent a really nice evening here. Nonetheless, I can't shake the feeling that when I paid for the meal and gave a tip of about 1,5 euro the waiter seemed disappointed. If that is the case, I'm sorry but I'm on a student budget and can't afford large tips as foreigners can. Keep up the good work :)

If you look for a good Indian food, a nice restaurant, pleasant ambiance and friendly staff you need to visit this restaurant. We had the pleasure to be serve by Bholanath. The food was tasty and nicely serve. I recomed to make a reservation in advance. We had the murgh tikka masala,lamb jalfrezi, rotti and garlic naan.

Liked the food to a great extent. The mysore dosa was spicy but the sambar lacked flavour. The chicken butter chicken was tangier than preferred. Biryani was below average. Garlic Naan could have more garlic. Malai Kulfi was wery good. The gulab jamun and roshogolla was a joke in terms of price. Service was extremely warm.

Lovely restaurant. We ordered the grill mix and vegetarian kofta, meat was tinder and everything tasted great. Nevertheless there are things that could be better, the portions are bit too small for my taste and there was no complementary side dishes such as rice nor nan.

This is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. Food and service were great! A bit pricey if compared to other Indian restaurants, but definitely worth it. They even have actual tandoori ovens on display, on which they cook the food.

Must try if you are a South Indian and want to try authentic Indian food Here is what we ate for 2 days Hydrabadi chicken biriyani, Lamb rogan Josh, Reshmi kabab, stuffed mushrooms, Mysore masala dosa(must try), sweet and salt lassi, malai kulfi and rasmalai Everything was outstanding and loved it. The owner of the restaurant personally walks in to each table to know our preferences and the staffs are very friendly. The best Indian restaurant in Prague. We used to order take away since covid time and never had the chance to go to the resto. Finally we got the chance to visit and it was satisfaction guaranteed 😁 The Butter chicken is one of the best we ever had. The lobster is very tasty and you can taste the smoke from the tandori. The lamb chop tandoori was super tender and delicious. Our server, Anirban whom is from Kalkuta was super friendly too. He explained all the food origin they have in the menu. Will definitely coming back.

Definitely one of my best experiences by eating indian food in my life. The quality of the food is outstanding, no one will regret how tasty and authentic it can be . I would only recommend something for the restaurant. I really love spicy food, and when I went to India, I had an authentic spicy vindaloo dish. I asked the manager in person to make it spicy in a very serious way and they thought it was a joke. Even my son at the end was eating vindaloo because it wasn't spicy. So please, take very seriously when a customer is asking something, because also I went with an Indian friend and he was very upset about this.

I saw some negative comments mainly from local people before visiting this place, that food is not good or that staff is slow or not organized. This is not true. Food is good, staff friendly and ambience perfect. The only weakness observed are washrooms, there is just 1 cabin for males so there are frequent queues just for pee if someone is making bigger job inside 😆

Went to this place on a friend's recommendation. The staff was super weird from the beginning. The menu had great options from the Indian Cuisine- Indo-chinese, Punjabi and South Indian both in veg and non veg. We ordered a Manchiw soup which was the only misfire- not spicy at all, more like veg clear soup. The manager told us this soup isn't supposed to be spicy and we should add Chilli sauce (which was awesome) if we wanted. The Indo-Chinese fried rice and Chilly Chicken tasted good. Dosa was big and delish. What was weird was that there was a power cut a while after our order arrived and the staff was least concerned to attend the guests and were instead running around. Since the billing machine wasn't working, they tried to make the bill manually and added tax above the given rates. When cross checked, the manager said he wasn't sure if the prices of the menu were tax inclusive but canceled the additional tax when we mentioned that this was wrong and should be specified ( as is followed by all). Would recommend for the food but the service can be a put off!
